Training up~

Grass rustled under Twilight's feet as she sauntered through it casually. She was looking at her pokeballs. It had been a long time since she trained any of her pokemon. "Well. Time to start now!" She said to no one in particular. She hovered around looking for pokemon to battle. Even a double battle would do.

[[Even a double battle, eh? Well you've seen me in action and you know I'm good. *keeps boasting lol* Now let's see how good YOU are. >:3]

Well she had "double battles" somewhere in his mind and looks like destiny granted that little whispering wish. It's a wild and a in front of her. Clefairy is sitting and leaning to a tree and under its shade while Meowth is laid peacefully on Clefairy's legs. This tells Twilight that they are lovers.

Twilight stood for a while and looked at the scene then turned away. Better not disturb such peaceful pokemon. Now she was sure she wanted a double battle. Akina squeaked readily. Clearly she wanted to battle.

(Clefairy's momma is so fat a hyperbole couldn't exaggerate her size. Yes, I am the only one who is able to make "yo mamma" jokes still sound funny.)
(Eh? You ignored 'em? You've no stomach for war. *le makes evil walk out)

Sadly, destiny's mood has changed. Twilight should have taken the chance to have a double battle a while ago. This time, a lone wild Pokémon was snooping around. It was walking a few steps in front of Twilight when it noticed her. It looked at the Trainer with a puzzling grin. Typical for such specie.

"Ah." was all that escaped Twilight's lips. She fingered Aquarius' pokeball but she wanted others to gain exp too. "Alright. Go Akina! If things get difficult, I have a Wooper!" She winked at her slim brown fox. The Evolution pokemon nodded and with a sharp "Vee!" She jumped into battle pose.

"Toxic!" Twilight flourished her hand. Akina proceeded to spit out a purple gob of goo that would badly poison the Rhydon on contact. If what they say about a Rhydon's defense is true... A thought passed Twilight's mind. "Tail Whip." Akina appeared confused but started wagging her tail cutely. "Do that for 6 turns, then Tackle, then Toxic and then continue to Tackle."

Fortunately Akina had an excellent memory as she began on the list of moves.

Foe Rhyhorn sidestepped evading the attack but failed to avoid seeing the wagging of its foe's tail.

It's time for the Spikes Pokémon to fight back. Known for being able to destroy everything it tackles, Rhyhorn charges towards Akina but not to Tackle her; he would use Horn Attack and repeatedly jab her.

Twilight failed to see the plan of the Rhydon. "Quick Akina! Dodge and-" But the charging Rhyhorn shook the ground so much both pokemon and trainer lost their footing. "AKINA NO!" Twilight yelled as the Rhyhorn slammed into her. It happened in an instant. Akina crashed to the ground, sending up dust clouds, Twilight screamed, Aquarius jumped out.

"No!" Twilight cried, taking no notice of Aquarius. Suddenly she started. Akina was still on her feet but trembling. Several bruises covered her, caked with dirt. "Come back!" Suddenly realising Akina couldn't walk in that condition, she checked herself and risking a Tackle on herself, she ran across to the Eevee, picked her up and raced back.

She whirled around, anger in her eyes. "Aquarius! Double Kick!" The Wooper gave a happy call and raced towards the Rhyhorn, feet glowing.

Thank Arceus; the human did not suffer a Tackle. Aquarius the Wooper's Double Kick was able to stop Rhyhorn's supposed to be rampage. The bulky foe got kicked twice on its huge head. A lowered defense and a super effective move were able to weaken the Rhyhorn so much that it will go down in one more blow unless captured. But it does not seem that Twilight is one to capture a monstrous looking Pokémon.

However, Rhyhorn is still able to fight back. Not as strong as a while ago, Rhyhorn decided to rely on his weight. He would try to Stomp the little Wooper.

"Well...I certainly don't want to capture that Rhyhorn. Perhaps I could use it for trading purposes. Let's see..." Peering into her bag, she found 5 pokeballs. "If it's level 8...Akina ought to get 8 exp and level up and so would Aquarius. I'll risk it. Use Water Gun!" Aquarius twirled and shot a strong, sharp beam of water at the Rhyhorn.

Rhyhorn had a nice shower brought to him by his foe.

Akina the Eevee grew up to Level 9 with 3 EXP remaining.
Aquarius the Wooper grew up to Level 12.

"Yay Akina!" Twilight said, twirling as she held her Eevee in her hand. "Return Aquarius. You did well." She looked at her Wooper as it was absorbed in his ball. She raced to the pokemon center and came out a few seconds later, Akina giving her a poisonous look. "Yes yes I know. I was a bit too reckless but it was okay, after all, wasn't it?" Twilight said, looking around in the grass for another encounter.

A wild Drowzee has been lulling his fellow Pokémon into sleep with Hypnosis. Using his big nose, he sniffs on every sleeping Pokémon to tell the awakened ones what the sleeping is dreaming about. The Pokémon look willing to be lulled though which could mean that they are a group friends and Drowzee is just showing-off his ability.

Lv. 10, Male

"Hmm...Why mess with their...er...game..?" Twilight said, not taking her eyes off the Drowzee. She turned, looking for an encounter.

(As you can see, she's soft-hearted. Like moi! )

The group didn't seem to notice her. Suddenly, a creature comes out from a bush. It's a red Pokémon barrel rolling around playfully. It didn't seem to mind her. It looks adorable.

Female Lv. 12 Vulpix | HP: 6 / 6

"Awww~!" Akina looked up at her trainer practically salivating over the Vulpix. "I already have one...but who cares?! I wan' it!!!" Twilight jumped around like a kid. "Go Akina. Be gentle. Wait. On second thoughts..." Twilight slowly and cautiously approached the Vulpix, trying to like friendly, even though she was afraid the Vulpix might incinerate her.

The Vulpix rolled over with eyes wide and jumped away with a quick but loud growl. She stared at Twilight, startled and scared. The loud growl caught the attention of the Drowzee and his friends. They looked over wondering what's going on. Crap. Vulpix just stares at Twilight.

"Aww. Come on sweetie. I'm not gonna hurt you." Twilight said sweetly. Extending a hand slowly, she reached out to pet the Vulpix. Meanwhile, Akina was bristling violently at the Drowzee.

Drowzee and the group just observed them. The Vulpix slowly backs off, still scared. She looks at Twilight from head to toe and circles around her. She looks at her Pokémon and notices a group looking at them. She starts to think of thoughts and assume things. She quickly backed away from Twilight and assumed as if the group were Twilight's friends and they are plotting her demise or something like that.

Twilight sighed. "Oh great. I'm scaring it." She noticed Vulpix looking at Akina and the Drowzee. "Hey! Why don't you come meet Akina? My Eevee. And...thos Drowzee aren't mine if you're wondering. Hey Akina!" Twilight called. The Eevee looked around and quickly ran towards Twilight. She stopped before the Vulpix and 'Vee'd a greeting.

The Drowzee, who seems to be the "leader" of this group of friends, didn't want to get caught up in this. However it would turn out. He told his friends to follow him as they fled the scene. Vulpix looked at Akina the Eevee and finally, a smile escaped her lips. She growled cutely at Akina. Slightly feeling comfort because she's a female Pokémon as well.

Akina, pleased on seeing the Vulpix smile, playfully pawed it. Even Twilight couldn't resist a smile. "Wanna meet all my pokemon?" She offered, as she unhooked all her pokeballs. Females would make her comfortable so... She called out her Pidgey and Metapod. The Pidgey cooed out a greeting while the Metapod just wiggled on the spot. Twilight sighed. "Felicity, remind me to train you so that you evolve."

The Vulpix's teeth showed as a huge smile filled her face. She let out a loud and happy cry. She looked at each Pokémon and winked. Then, she looked at Akina and finally smiled at her. Now she's looking at a Poké Ball. Subliminal message.

Twilight caught her glimpse. "Well, come along. But only if you want to." She bent down and held out the small sphere.

Vulpix yipped happily, and touched her nose to the center. She was sucked in, and caught almost instantly.

Vulpix was caught! Would you like to give her a nickname?

(Hmm. Female, right? Since I'm gonna evolve her...Ninio. Ninio is the perfect name! <3 Though I copied that...)

Twilight smiled happily at the pokeball holding her new Vulpix. I may have two but so what? She skipped along happily when suddenly she tripped on something. She fell face-down and something fell on her head. She looked up and apparently she had tripped on a _______. She looked up and an angry _____ met her eyes.
