Training up~

Poliwag squinted her eyes angrily, and made her Bubble attack increase in power, morphing into a liquid torrent instead of fragile bubbles, she was now using Water Gun!

Thunder was blown back a bit as the Water Gun struck. Now dripping wet, he still lay sleeping. "Oh come on, how can you sleep through an attack like that?" Twilight drooped sadly as she addressed the sleeping Pikachu.

Poliwag's eyes gleamed in success, but as she stood over Thunder to launch another barrage of water at him, she paused and stepped back. Her calculating face looked from Thunder to Twilight, and she halted her attack. It seemed as if she had gained her advantage, but otherwise wanted a fair fight, not to take down a helpless opponent. She attacked no more and waited for Thunder to wake up.

Twilight was surprised by the honorable Poliwag. The battle was fair already. Thunder had an advantage over the Poliwag but was asleep. "Thunder!" She called out sharply. The ears of the Pikachu perked up as he slowly got up. He snapped out of his sleep and shook the water out of his fur. It eyed the Poliwag before breaking into a Volt Tackle. "Hey stop!" She was still debating, did she really want to defeat this nice Tadpole pokemon? But Thunder was already in full fledged Volt Tackle and didn't seem to be able to break his attack any time soon. Already slowing down, it still headed for the Poliwag, unable to alter his course.

Polliwag was struck by the Volt Tackle, and only managed to give a fleeting gaze of praise toward Twilight and Thunder before falling into the depths of unconsciousness.

Thunder gained 14 Exp! Thunder grew to level 10 and learned Thunder Wave!

"Kyuu! I'm so sorry!" Profusely apologizing and bowing several times, she fell at the feet of the Poliwag before gently picking it up and placing it in water shallow enough for the Poliwag to be 3/4th submerged. "Well...that was rewarding. That Poliwag was very nice though." She said as she looked around for perhaps some more water pokemon over which Thunder would have an advantage.

Near the water that Poliwag now recovered in, a Goldeen was swimming around, just going about her day. She glanced toward Twilight when she noticed the trainer and observed the fainted Poliwag. "Deen," she said lazily, seeming to shrug off both the trainer and the fainted Pokemon. She continued to swim around nearby.

Goldeen, Female, Level 12

"Hmm...if Emerald levelled up, he would evolve so...sorry Thunder. Please sit this one out." She said as she walked up to the Goldeen with the same proposal. Would it like to battle?

Goldeen still lazily eyed Twilight while swimming about, but her eyes gained some sort of glint in them. She suddenly bobbed in and out of the water nonchalantly until quite suddenly when she bobbed up she released a strange beam of frequencies: a Supersonic! It seems the bobbing was to loll Twilight and Emerald into a sense of calm that she wouldn't attack in hopes that she could take them by surprise.

"Kyaa!" She cried as she tumbled back. Shaking her head, she got to her feet. The Supersonic sure was strong. Unsure of upto what extent the Snivy could obey her, she decided to try anyway. "Vine Whip!" She snapped as her command cracked out sharply. It managed to get to Emerald and he released two vines from his collar, aiming to hit Goldeen.

The vines did hit Goldeen, and she was forced to flop out of the water for a few moments. Taking advantage of her position in the air, she angled herself so she'd fall in a dive straight toward Emerald. The small horn atop her head glowed and seemed to sharpen as she did so, she was using a Peck attack.

"Uhhm..ah..er..wai...kuh..." While Twilight blustered around with orders, the Peck hit. And with Goldeen being the level it was, Emerald glared at the girl before releasing another Vine Whip.

Goldeen knew another hit would be hazardous to herself, but worry did not echo across her gaze. Instead, knowing Emerald's confusion would keep her aim off, she bounced from her position on the ground, over the swinging vines, and landed with a splash back into the nearby water. "Deen," she said, hesitant to leave her watery shelter again. Because of this, she simply ducked a little below the surface and awaited Emerald's next move.

While Twilight indeed did order another Vine Whip, the vine veered off and ended up smacking Emerald. Shaking its head, it tried again, with the same results. She could see the Snivy was getting tired. A last ditch attempt, the vine did appear to shoot towards its target this time, getting better of its confusion.

Even with the advantage of being under the water, Goldeen had mistakenly let her guard down as Emerald kept hurting herself. Her confidence was her downfall as the final Vine Whip hurtled at her and hit her, causing her body to go limp and float sideways along the top of the water.

Emerald gained 12 exp and grew to level 16! Emerald learned Leaf Tornado!

Twilight again bowed at the Goldeen and then turned to Emerald, awaiting his evolution with surpressed excitement.

(I think Kare edited in everything. My character's in my signature. And to summarize this topic, Twilight's been battling a lot. Now, due to winning against a level 12 Goldeen, my Snivy should level up, learn a new move and evolve! <3 The levels and moves are all accurately added and just the evolution remains, if at all the mod has to control that)

Emerald began to glow a white hue until white light completely enveloped the Snivy. He began to slowly change shape, his body lengthening and growing larger. His arms began to grow smaller, however, making him become more snake-like. Once this process was complete, the light disappeared in a flash, and in Emerald's place stood a Servine.

Congratulations! Your Snivy has evolved into Servine!

"Kyaa! Congrats, Em!" She squealed and basically fan-girled over her very first evolution. Akina seemed a bit put out. She really had wanted to be the first one to evolve. Twilight noticed. "No use Akina. I'm not evolving you. You're great the way you are~" She chirped happily at the Evolution pokemon. But the slim brown fox was still unhappy. "All right, how about a game? I'll train in the process too."

"Okay. Rules." She said, facing her six pokemon. "One, we all hide and Akina finds us. Sounds easy, but not with this." She said, whipping out her handkerchief. "No using your eyes. Use your other senses. And don't cheat." She cooed as she quickly covered Akina's large molten chocolaty brown eyes with the hanky and tying the ends. "Go!"

All five pokemon and trainer scampered off in different directions. Twilight herself shinned up a tree and clung to the branches, well hidden from view. Aquarius promptly headed for the nearby pond and dove in. Emerald did well hiding in the foliage. Ninio quickly scrabbled up some dirt, rolling in it, she ran, hiding in the nearby bushes as well. Odette settled in a high branch of a tree and waited.

Akina waited for the signal but it didn't come. Impatient, she scuffed her feet before turning. She was going anyway. Giving her ears a perk, she padded forth. She sniffed the air, her dainty nose taking in the scents. At once she scrabbled off in a particular direction. She slowed down to a trot in a couple of minutes before slowing down completely, walking softly. At one point, she nearly trod on Emerald's tail, unaware he was even there, his earthy scent mixing well with the fragrant bushes around.

Odette fluffed herself and budged a bit. Ninio backed up a bit, Akina in view. Her paw came down ever so lightly on a twig and it cracked. The sound was muffled greatly by the fox's paw, but enough for Akina. Her long, slender ears picked up the sound with some difficulty and took off. She leapt for Ninio but got a pawful of air instead. Nino had fled. She snarled frustration and gave chase.

While Ninio's scent was masked by the dirt she was covered in, she wasn't quiet enough to drop Akina off her trail. Panting, heaving, gasping, she ran on blindly. They dashed on below the tree Twilight was hidden in. Akina stopped for a moment to blindly turn her face around. Twilight's bright blue eyes pierced through the thick layer of leaves onto Akina. Feeling someone's gaze upon her, she turned, but to no avail. She couldn't see anyone. Anything.

Just then she got the shock of her life. Twilight dropped from the branches straight on her. "Gotcha!" She yelled happily as she clung to her pokemon. However Akina was in convulsions of rage. Wriggling out, she worked the hanky off and growled threateningly at Twilight, bristling and baring her fangs. "Er....Akina?" With a yelp, she fled. Anger fueled the angry Evolution fox and she dashed after Twilight. Twilight quickly shinned up another tree. However it was a fairly young sapling and had barely any branches.

She clung to the lone branch while Akina raged below like an animal gone mad. She rammed into the tree repeatedly with Tackle and managed nothing. However, as she landed another Tackle on the tree, it creaked alarmingly. She spat out a purple gob of toxic acid. Toxic. She continued spraying the acid on the tree, watching the truck dissolve. Just then Emerald burst through and grabbed Akina in his vines. Aquarius hopped up and cooled down the angry Eevee with a Water Gun. Feeling much better, she was allowed down. Twilight carefully dropped from the branches and gave Akina a rub behind her ears, getting a coo in response.

The next day Twilight lay awake. She was busy scribbling on her new drawing pad. Her mother had taken the trouble to send her one. She quickly drew down all the beautiful sights she had ever seen and remembered. The glowing orange sunset, the serene sunrise, the star spangled night sky, the crystalline rivers flowing limpid like sapphires. She always did have a gift for drawing which she never honed. Seeing her pokemon stir, she replaced the book in her bag and got up. Akina woke up, stretched and yawned, jumped off the rock, hit the floor and bounced up to her. "Come on." She whispered. "Let's train."

Soon the sound of rustling grass could be heard as she sauntered through it, searching for something to battle.

Out from the nearby grass came a shadowy Pokemon with glowing red eyes. There was no way to tell what Pokemon it was aside from using a PokeDex; the Pokemon hid in the shadows and would not come out except to make a swift Pound attack. It let out a menacing growl and began to charge forward to attack with Pound.

"Eek! Wh-What's that?!" She couldn't make it out so she whipped out her rarely used PokeDex and pointed it at the pokemon while Akina growled, but before she could jump at the pokemon, Odette burst from her pokeball and dived at the foe, taking the Pound and fluttered to the ground, ready for battle.

"Absol, the Disaster Pokemon. This Pokemon was nicknamed the 'Disaster Pokemon' since it appeared whenever there was a natural disaster. However, scientists have been theorizing that the Pokemon was merely trying to warn others of the natural disasters." the PokeDex's mechanical voice was heard, and said Pokemon now growled at Twilight fiercely. The Absol seemed very enraged for some odd reason. It attacked with a Bite attack, hoping to get any of the Pokemon or even the Trainer standing before it.
