Training up~

(Why does it know Pound? It's moves are Scratch, Feint, Leer, Quick Attack, Pursuit, Taunt and Bite but not Pound...)

Twilight simply gaped. "Get in my pokeball now!" She almost literally yelled at the pokemon but controlled herself. Odette gave a couple of strong flaps of her wings and succeeded in elevating from the ground far enough to allow the Absol to escape from under her. Then gaining some height, she released a Gust of strong wind.

(Yeah, that was my bad XD Pretend the Pound was Bite...)

The Absol noticed the Gust attack just in time to dodge it, and merely stepped out of its range. It then turned towards Odette with icy eyes. It glared at the Pidgey, and let out an annoyed roar and used Quick Attack. Its body glowed with a white hue as it sped forward, leaping off the ground to try and strike the flying Pokemon.

Odette tumbled out of the air. She managed to straighten her ruffled feathers in time to avoid crashing into a tree. Instead, she perched on the branch and released another Gust.

The wild Absol managed to dodge the Gust once more, and used another Quick Attack. If this attack was dodged, the Absol would quickly leap away to avoid getting injured. If it struck, the Absol would then also attack with a Scratch attack. If all else failed, it would use a Bite attack.

Odette managed to fold a single wing and dropped out of the tree just in time. The ground rapidly coming up to meet her, she spread both wings and just managed to soar across, her claws raking the ground. She gradually gained height and with the flick of a single wing, managed to make pin-point turns. She hovered for a few seconds before getting surrounded in a blue-red aura and diving at Absol with a Brave Bird, aware that the Absol would probably retaliate back.

Just like he planned, he quickly jumped away evading the attack. Odette's probably gonna smash herself on a tree but who cares? Wait, but why is he hurt? Wait, so he's hit by that Brave Bird after all. The hallucination came because he was in mid-air, slammed to the tree and fell down. Feeling a little dizzy, he let out another annoyed growl. Still, he tried to rush again with Quick Attack. He looks like a shuffling, sprinting drunken zombie of sorts.

In the back of his mind, he's surprised by how this low level foe managed to keep up with him.

Odette quickly countered with her own Brave Bird, so that both combatants were more or less rushing at each other.

OOC: Absol's a 20. You're owned. Huehuehuehuehuehuehuehuehue.

POW!

If this was a comic strip, this is where that brown smoke and dust would come in. It seems that this is inevitable; they both get hurt. But since Absol is bigger and stronger, he didn't really get hurt that much. Like he ever did get hurt a lot by the previous attacks. The only one that really hurt him was when he smashed himself on a tree and met the ground. But it was caused by himself.

He gets back to his feet and shakes his head. Then, he eyes the little foe and grins. The grin of a bully taking advantage the size and strength advantage. He decides to change plans as he taunts the Pidgey, "Come at me, bro!"

OOC: He only taunted. But not the move.

(-.- Also, stop ruining the nice serious, staid character of an Absol. I mean to capture it, but the personality is more like a...um...one who taunts. That irks. o.o)

Odette flinched as the recoil of the Brave Bird struck her nerves, jarring them violently. She didn't look good. "Odette, back. Uhm...Akina, you go." The Eevee jumped out of her arms and landed squarely where Odette was a few seconds ago. Twilight clipped back Odette's pokeball. "Alright, Toxic!" The slim brown Eevee proceeded to spit up a thick, purple gob of goo at the Absol. If that wasn't enough, she winked mischievously at it, using Attract as several small hearts floated across towards the Disaster pokemon.

OOC: Eh, sorry. I don't know how an Absol's supposed to act. I just randomly pick a wild then have them acting however I want. So, how is one supposed to act?

This Eevee seems to be wiser choice. She's close to Absol's level so this should now be more fun. The wink and weird feeling gave Absol the blushes and all that cheesy annoying thing in him. Then, all of a sudden it's a poison coming at him.

Absol has been badly poisoned!

He managed to shake the feeling of Cupid's arrow on him. He focused his thoughts back on winning this fight. Since this Eevee is obviously near his caliber, he'll have to be serious from now. Absol's horn glows faint red and he would ram the opponent with his horn. One Megahorn incoming.

(Uh...withdrawn, quiet, secluded, not so cocky, more like an introvert.
Also, yay. Megahorn for Egg move. :3)

Eevee was struck and surprised by the intensity of the move. It didn't really get the Same Type Attack Boost but was powerful nonetheless. She ruffled her fur. At least it was poisoned. Badly. She sped forward, small pads scrabbling in the dirt as she attempted a Tackle.

OOC: Yep, Megahorn. Thought I'd be uber kind to you. Eh, that's a personality I find hard to play but okay. It's just temporary and I guess you can take it from when you capture him.

Eevee's body met Absol's. However, Eevee is obviously lighter than Absol so it didn't really do that much good. He thought to use Megahorn but while on the process of waiting for his horn to glow, the poison that now flows through his veins kicks in. He flinches.

Akina grinned as she landed on her feet again, after her frame connected with Absol's. She let out a sharp, soft bark before relaxing her tensed body. She could just sit back and let the poison slowly cripple the foe. She settled down in a comfortable pose.

Why not attack? That's what happening in the back of Absol's mind.

However, he can't let his guard down. Nor can he give up. He will finish this fight. Even if he's Poisoned. He charges up his horn again and it glows light blue. Then, he would try to slash Akina with it for another Megahorn. Doesn't seem like he's going to flinch again.

Akina gracefully dodged. She was determined to not let the Absol hit her. Her limbs moved fluidly as she quickly skipped away. She folded back her ears, a sign of aggression, but still made no move. Twilight motioned for her not to. Why add to the Absol's suffering? Violence wasn't the way to gain it's trust. It would probably prove useful for the time when she caught - or at least attempted to catch - it.

The moment Absol missed, he prepared to dodge or counter whatever the Eevee will dish out. But he realized that it's not in an attack stance. He's again confused. What's wrong? It doesn't look like Eevee is charging up an attack or anything.

Absol stood still and looked to Twilight and Eevee back and forth. Confused, but still not letting his guard down. This is still part of the battle.

Twilight smiled and knelt on the ground slowly, holding out a hand as a sign of friendship. "Here Absol." She cooed soothingly as she attempted to make friends with it.

The suspicious Absol still kept looking back and forth. Making sure his senses are on high alert for any sudden movement. He looked at Twilight's hand and that did nothing but raise his suspicion even more. However, somewhere in the back of his mind, he's wondering maybe the girl really is trying to make friends and he's just imagining the surprise cheap shot. Again, he looks back at Akina and stares at her. There's an uncertain expression on Absol's face that is hard to read.

Akina's ears which were flattened a moment ago, returned to their normal, upright position. She didn't exactly appreciate anyone staring at her but kept her peace. Twilight rummaged in her bag. "Maybe some food will do the trick..." She murmured. She revealed a bottle of Moo Moo milk.

"Huh....is this even good to consume?" She continued murmuring to herself as she had a sniff at it. Shrugging, she got a bowl out, emptying the contents in it. The frothy white milk sloshed around in the bowl as she encouragingly shoved it towards Absol.

Absol watched everything Twilight did.

It's not an Absol's nature to judge people, be paranoid and go thinking that there's a sleep drug mixed with that milk. But of course, Twilight and her Eevee are complete strangers to him so he can't trust them. However, somewhere in the back of his mind, he's thirsty. And that milk is so inviting to the eyes. It's probably going to taste good, too.

He tried to resist it but just a few seconds shortly, he was like, "Nah, forget it." He licks the milk and tastes it. It does taste good. He took a little more sips.

Twilight grinned. At least the Absol liked it. Akina started licking her milk-stained fingers. She let out a soft giggle. That tickled. She peered into her bag. 5 pokeballs, a Luxury ball and a Friend Ball. A friend ball would probably do the trick. But if the Absol preferred a luxury ball, perfectly fine.

She waited until the Absol was done. At least that gave her time to think about what exactly her next move should be.

The Absol observed every single Poké Ball. The blank expression remains on his face. Suddenly, he turned his head to Eevee and walked around her in circles. While Twilight and Akina may not know it, Absol is actually examining Akina's entire body if she is healthy. He's looking for any scars, wounds that seems to be done by a human. In other words, finding out if Twilight is not the type who hurts her Pokémon and if she's a kind trainer to follow.

Akina didn't give Absol the chance. She whirled around to always face Absol, no matter which way it circled. She did so silently though, no growling. Suddenly, she plopped down and gave a soft snort. Twilight was astonished. Prusten?

The Eevee used to make all sorts of noises. Growls, squeaks, chirps. She even went woof when startled. And the full-throated squeal, rich as gold, possibly the loudest in her range. And she could be utterly, majestically silent. That too.

She had heard all of them. Except for prusten. At least to no one other than herself. But that was a different story. One for the diary, in fact.

Prusten was a sort of puff, to indicate no ill will, and harmless intentions. She had never done to anyone, or anything. Except for herself. She did it again, this time with a rolling of her head. She twitched her ears. She looked exactly like she was asking a question.
