The Second Step.

Having beaten Brock the first gym leader in his very first try, Kita Yuudai had now headed to Cerulean. He arrived only an hour ago but that did not keep him from rushing to the gym. The boy intended to beat every single gym in Kanto as soon as he could, and there was no time to waste. Opening the door of the gym wide, Yuu quickly took out a pokeball with a grin on his face. His monsters were inside unlike last time as it was a long walk from Pewter to Cerulean.

"Misty of the Second Badge of Kanto, I challenge you to a gym battle!"

"You can keep your autograph, I just want your badge." The impatient trainer pestered the gym leader. Shaking his head violently, the trainer threw the pokeball in the air and let out his Dratini. "I'm not here for the underwater show either.."

"Right." The trainer sighed as he walked out of the gym in a depressed fashion. Shutting the door behind him, Yuudai walked slowly to Route 24 where he saw the length of the place. Taking another deep sigh, Yuu walked to the end of Route 24. He kept walking until he reached the house. Believing it to be the house of Bill, the famous pokemon researcher, The trainer knocked on the door.

"Misty of the Second Badge of Kanto, I challenge you to a gym battle!" The frustrated trainer stated, holding his Pokeball tight in his hand. He wanted to challenge and beat the gym leader and get it over with but from the looks of it, God was making him run around.

"If that will quicken up the gym-challenging process, I'll go." The trainer sighed and muttered under his breath. Looking down at the water, the boy was not exactly scared nor was he very confident. Then again, the chance of having something to do with Kyogre was a good reason to go down there! The trainer took off his shirt and braced. Wearing shorts, the impatient trainer decided not to waste time wearing the suit. He jumped! Landing on the water with a huge splash and dived under the surface, away from the gym leader's and Bill's view.

He waited for the bubbles to clear out and reveal the image, possibly Misty's cousin, Rain somewhere down there.

The trainer simply grunted and gritted his teeth, holding his breath the whole time. Despite facing difficulty, he could not lose the opportunity to challenge the gym badge. If this guy died, Misty the gym leader could go on leave and that was something the trainer had gone too far to risk. Acting quickly, he called out his Dratini from its Pokeball. The serpentine, long Pokemon quickly came out and saw the scene, immediately getting an idea of what was happening although it was unsure who Rain was. The Pokemon was aware that he was the victim here, nonetheless, and these men up to no good. Looking back at its trainer, the dragon also realized that its trainer was unable to give orders, being underwater and not being practiced in the art of speaking clearly underwater, like Rain and the two villainous individuals just had.

Looking at the Team Aqua members, Dratini used Twister! It spun its tail around rapidly, creating a spherical wind around the tip of its tail before water collected around the tail and grew larger and longer, like an underwater water sprout, or a little whirlpool. The Dratini made a strange noise as the gust of wind got engulfed in the water and zigzagged its way toward the grunts!
