As Shawn nodded in complete understanding, Katie began whining about how she wanted to travel with Alice. "Katie, you'll be lucky if you didn't break your ankle. It's not like she's gonna just up and vanish off the face of the planet." He turned back to Alice, shaking his head lightly with a smile. "But seriously, we understand. Here, you can use the key to get the rest of your stuff. Just leave it at the front desk when you're done. I'm probably gonna stick around a while longer and help clean up," he reached into his pocket, handing over the room key to Alice. Though how much good he would do in the actual clean up was yet to be seen in his current condition.

Aside from her friends and a quick check up by a nurse before being shooed away from the scene, Alice was asked to fill out a quick Police Report. Afterward, she was thanked for her assistance in the whole affair, and sent on her way with a free Ferry Pass to get off the island. They suggested she go into witness protection, but something about her desire to be an idol wasn't going to make that an easy (or even viable) task. As such, they decided to simply get her away from the scene of the crime for now.

Shawn, Katie, and Raphael all gave their respective numbers to Alice, hoping to stay in touch. However, with all the world to see and the sheer amount of people to meet, would they ever truly run into each other again? That much was a mystery, but the slim hope still gave them each a bit of solace as they said their goodbyes, and prepared to part ways.

The sound of feet pounding on pavement was overwhelming with the crowds, but one pair in particular stood out. Like they were running, and getting louder! "Miss Hope, Miss Hope!" A young woman's voice called. If she stopped to look, an Officer Jenny was running after her, waving an arm somewhat frantically. She finally caught up, pausing for a moment to rest against her knees and catch her breath.

She swiftly stood up straight, giving a strong salute to the girl. "The Police Force has assigned this officer the duty of escorting Miss Alice Hope safely until her departure at the docks!" Her voice was strong and commanding, as well as rather high in energy. Still it was kind of sweet, though not nearly in the same way a Nurse Joy was. "They asked me to make sure you got your things and got back safely!" She said rather loudly, though with a smile.

It was a possibility that maybe all the police work had just left her with the inability to speak at a normal volume, or maybe she was just naturally this loud? Either way, the green haired officer was there for Alice now, whether she wanted her there or not. "So where to, Miss Hope?"

Officer Jenny nodded, "Completely understandable, Miss! After what I heard transpired, I wouldn't doubt if you were able to collect all the badges then head on north for the Kanto League!" It was meant as a compliment, though the entire way she structured her sentences seemed just a tad off. The elevator stopped at the Penthouse Suite as was usual, Jenny plugging her nose and swallowing to pop her ears and adjust to the pressure change.

The place was a mess, though no more so than they had left it in that morning. It had been a hectic day, even before Team Rocket interfered. Still, this might be the last time Alice saw Raphael's messy sleeping quarters, or Katie's food hoarding results. "Oh my, did Team Rocket beat us here?!" Jenny shouted, quickly taking a defensive pose and whipping out a pokéball. She was clearly on edge, and anticipating way more than what was likely to happen: nothing.

After a moment of realizing they were the only two, she returned the Growlithe's ball to its holster, and resumed an alert stance. "I'll wait here if you need anything," she announced, again saluting. "We have about an hour and a half before the next sferry departs," she glanced to her watch, "I believe it's headed for Valencia Island. It might do good to pay the Professor a visit there. She's quite famous, you know?!"

Jenny seemed to lack any interest in dropping her serious demeanor. She stood guard, remaining where she could keep an eye on the door to the young woman's room as well as that of the main hall entrance. She clearly took her job very seriously. It was about twenty or so minutes that passed, when a light rapping at the door was heard.

Jenny snapped up her pokéball and Police baton, turning sharply to the door in alert. "Room service," a male voice chimed, another round of knocking following shortly after. Jenny blocked Alice's path, giving a gentle push to keep the girl back as she slowly approached the door.

"Keep back, Miss...this could be a trick!" Jenny announced, hushing Alice with a finger to her lips. Awfully ironic, since the officer herself was so damn loud. Still, she just wanted to help. She pressed against the door, sliding to the peephole only to be greeted by a green eye. She jumped back, aiming the baton at the door. "I-I'm warning you, I'm an Officer of the law!"

"Um...pardon? Then, you didn't order any food?" The door came open, the clumsy officer having apparently forgotten to lock it behind her. "Oh, sorry if I'm intruding, but I do have other duties to attend...if you wouldn't mind, I'd just like to leave the kart in here..." The smell of the food wafted in, assaulting Alice and Jenny's senses and causing salivation.

"Wouldn't dream of it, Ma'am!" Officer Jenny said, snapping back to attention. She had re holstered her equipment as the kart was pushed into the room, and remembered to lock the door this time. Though the food was tempting, and smelled delicious, it was apparent that Jenny was more concerned with remaining professional.

She stood guard as Alice and the Pokémon ate. Several minutes passed, Jenny finding her gaze drifting to the food as she (not so) secretly pined over it. Her stomach rumbled, and she snapped back to attention again. Her cheeks became rosy with blush, as embarrassment from her involuntary reaction became apparent. She lowered her head in shame, just a bit.

Each time Alice would offer, and even prose with 'are you sure?' inquiries, Jenny would decline. However it became obvious that her will was being sapped and betrayed by her own body. Toward the second half of the meal, Jenny found herself closer to the table than ever, eyeballing some of the goodies on display. 

"Well...maybe just one...you know, to keep my strength up!" She finally caved, slowly grabbing a roll to start with. "But just one!" She said, mere moments before biting into it. It wasn't long until she had a plate full, eating happily and quite oblivious to what had just happened.
