The Adventure goes on (Ashley Rio's Adventure) - Shocking Vermilion Discoveries

Wartortle and it's copies all dodged the Quick Attack's, Ashley watching his first pokemon proudly, forgetting about the crowd. Wartortle then unleashed yet another series of Water Gun attacks on Flareon.

(XD But it's so fun~ Okay okay. >.> Winning for you is inevitable so~ Why bother?)

Flareon nicked through them, weaving quickly as it continued it's fast and relentless Quick Attack.

Wartortle then lined up in a row with it's copies waiting and watching before unleashing a torrent of Water Guns upon it, just as it went crashing through one of the final 4, leaving the three that were left, trying to finish it off.

Flareon may have been able to finish off a Wartortle at a time, but the combined attack was too much. Crying out as each of the Water Gun's hit, it finally collapsed, no fight left after a tough battle.

(Um..um...Okay, your Wartortle defeated Trapinch, Flareon and...*Peers to some pages ahead* Baltoy. Yeah.

Wartortle gained (21+29+25) 75 exp!
Wartortle grew to level 22 with 6 exp remaining!
Wartortle learned Rapid Spin!
Honchkrow gained 23 exp!
Honchkrow grew to level 17 with 15 exp remaining!

Wartortle's doubles then disappeared, as he returned to Ashley's side happily. Ashley then walked over to the other trainer and extended his hand as, a sign of respect. The crowd dispersing and Leo and Alexis approaching standing next to him saying
"Nice battle you two"
their Charmeleon and Ivysaur coming from their pokeball's then starting a conversation with Wartortle as, Ashley and co. talked.

The trainer touched his hand to his hat as a stiff gesture of respect before talking his hand and shaking it. Then he walked away to heal his pokemon.

Alexis then said to Ashley
"Here"
crouching down and removing some medicine from her side bag, healing up Wartortle the group then proceeding to look for a weaker trainer so, that he could train up his Solosis and Ralts. They came across many trainers some of which, Leo and Alexis battled but, eventually finding one who looked like a breeder which would mean they may have some weaker pokemon for Ashley to battle.

Ashley then asked
"Hey there, would you mind battling me please?"
calmly waiting for a response.

"Hmm? Sure...but I raise baby pokemon which may not be strong enough for battle yet.."

Pichu, female, level 10
Azurill, male, level 10
Igglybuff, female, level 10
Bonsly, male, level 10
Magby, male, level 10
Riolu, male, level 15

(Wow they're a bit strong but, I guess Solosis can handle them, then Ralts can take on an even weaker trainer)

Ashley said
"That's what I mean, I have a newly hatched Ralts that needs some training and a young Solosis that could do with some more battle experience"
Ashley then taking his place at one end of a battlefield throwing a pokeball into the air, his Solosis emerging in a beam of white light. Ashley called across to the breeder
"The name's Ashley by the way, anyway i'm all ready when you are"
Leo took his place as well at the side, and prepared to be the referee for the battle.

"Say!" The breeder called out. "Would you mind having a triple battle?" He scooped up three of his pokeballs and waited for his response.

Ashley smiled at the breeders enthusiasm and nodded
"Sure, but, I only have two young pokemon, the third may be a bit of a challenge for you"
taking three pokeball's from his belt and launching them into the air beckoning
"Come on out Ralts, Solosis and Cubone"
The trio landing side by side on the field, Ralts looking to Ashley, noticing all the people and running over hiding behind his leg, Ashley saying
"Hey calm down Ralts this guy's gonna help train you with a battle ok?"
Ralts looking between Ashley's leg at the breeder who seemed friendly enough, slowly edging forwards to the others. Ashley nodded remarking
"And don't forget Solosis and Cubone have got your back"
Ralts reassured by this she was ready and so, was everyone else Cubone twirling his bone like a cane and Solosis floating from side-to-side like a boxer hopping from foot to foot.

"Ummm...that Cubone looks tough.." Muttering, he released his Azurill, Igglybuff and Bonsly. "After you~" He called out as he surveyed his opponent's pokemon.

Ashley nodded
"Thanks"
with that he said to his team
"Ralts on Cubone's back now"
Cubone smiling he got his arms ready as, Ralts climbed onto his back, Cubone knew what Ashley was going to say but waited anyway
"Now Cubone use Earthquake but, weaker than normal remember where we are"
Cubone nodding he span his bone around in his right hand like a Bo Staff before bringing it crashing to the ground causing a tremor to travel across towards Azurill, Igglybuff and Bonsly. Ashley then called to Solosis
"Follow the attack up with a Double Team then Psywave"
Solosis surrounding the opposing trio with Double Team and unleashing a set of Psybeam attacks on them. Ashley finally announced
"Ralts, Thunderbolt"
This being the second part to his plan he knew it wouldn't affect Cubone who's back he was on as Cubone was a ground type and the Lightning Rod ability only worked if Cubone used it. With that Ralts unleashed an unusually large Thunderbolt attack on Azurill.

The rocks sprung out and dug into each of the pokemon as they screeched out in pain. Azurill managed to dodge the Psybeams while Igglybuff and Azurill took cover behind Bonsly, protecting them from the Thunderbolt. "Alright! Attack order!" Azurill spouted out a large Water Gun as Igglybuff sang out a lullaby, trying to get Cubone to sleep while Bonsly tried to lash out with Low Kick, all attacks aimed at Cubone together.

(Ah-ha, Bonsly is damaged by Thunderbolt - Look it up on Bulbapedia, cause he's a rock type and not a ground type it's not unaffected it just has normal damage so, he should be hurt a bit)

Ashley noticed this and called across,
"Ralts, Cubone use Double-Team!"
Ralts still on Cubone's back as they duplicated to avoid the Low Kick and Water Gun attacks. Ashley then decided upon using scientific principles calling to the others
"Gather around Cubone now Solosis"
All of the copies gathering into groups of three, there being 7 groups of three in total (21), Cubone then twirling his bone before holding it into the air using Protect the sphere coming from the bone and surrounding them to soundproof where each group was. Ashley then announced
"Again Ralts use Thunderbolt on them"
The thunderbolt coming from an opened hole in the protect and flying at the opposing pokemon, Ashley then calling over
"Cubone unleash another Earthquake as well"
Cubone stomping his right foot and causing a tremor to fly across the battle-field.
"Solosis repeat"
Ashley beckoned. Solosis unleashing a Psybeam through the same holes as for the Thunderbolt's heading towards the group of three in the middle of them all.

(Yes I know. What I meant was Bonsly took the attack and protected the others.  I hate Double Team.)

"Again!" The trainer called as Azurill fought off the Psybeam with Water Gun, Igglybuff scurrying out of the way of Thunderbolt and Bonsly kicking away the rocks with Low Kick. Then Bonsly started Flailing. And since it had pretty low health, Flail had to hit Cubone hard. Azurill and Igglybuff used their respective Sing (on Ralts) and Water Gun (on Cubone).

The moves were all blocked by Cubone's protects Ashley smiling at the effectiveness of his plan then calling out
"Quickly Ralts whilst Azurill's using Water Gun unleash a Thunderbolt on it"
Ralts knowing what he meant as, she used a powerful Thunderbolt for a pokemon of her size from each of the groups on the Water Gun, the Thunderbolt making contact with it and traveling along the water which was a conductor of electricity. He then said
"Next Cubone, use Flamethrower on Igglybuff!"
Cubone opening another hole in each of the protects as, him and his copies let loose a torrent of flames from their mouths on Igglybuff.
"Finally, Solosis' use Shadow Ball on Bonsly"
Solosis and his copies firing off multiple Shadow Ball's on Bonsly from all angles.

Azurill bounced away and battled off the Shadow Ball with Water Gun, also, in the process, extinguishing the Flamethrower and Igglybuff took the Thunderbolt and fainted. Bonsly then started Flailing again.

Ashley then replied with
"Ralts, Thunderbolt Again on Azurill"
Ralts then building up power before, launching a Thunderbolt on Azurill, he then continued
"Cubone, Ice Beam on Bonsly"
Cubone trying to freeze Bonsly to prevent it's Flail attack from properly working and to deal some major damage. Ashley finally concluded with,
"Solosis, Shadow Ball once more on Bonsly"
attempting to the further the damage done, to the breeder's resistant rock type pokemon.

Azurill took the Thunderbolt, it being Normal type, the Thunderbolt wasn't super effective, but nevertheless knocked it out. Seeing it's comrade fallen transported Bonsly into a fury as it dodged both attacks, scarcely grazing by and used it's Low Kick again at Cubone.

(Stop with the Protects already.D:< You haven't taken a single hit yet.)

(Now you know how I felt with that Wish move)

The Protect was broken but, in the process it gave the others time to dodge the Low Kick. Ashley then smiled
"Two down, one to go. Cubone Earthquake! Ralts Shadow Ball! and Solosis Psywave!"
Cubone twirling his bone like a Bo Staff once more before slamming it into the ground causing a large quake. He avoided taking damage himself by balancing masterfully on his bone through the duration. Ralts meanwhile, from Cubone's back held her arms up before unleashing a Shadow Ball attack on Bonsly. Solosis topping it all off with a Psywave attack from his position levitating over the Earthquake, sending it straight at Bonsly.

(Ooh. Low blow. Payback, is it? Also, I do realize that the pokemon tries to survive as long as it can but not taking a single hit is ridiculous. :/ )

Bonsly was defenceless as all the attacks connected. Needless to say, it collapsed. The Breeder looked wrought as it released it's last three pokemon, Riolu, Pichu and Magby. The Riolu immediately jumped in with a Quick Attack, zig-zagging with unbelievable speed and dashing at Ralts. Pichu waltzed and jumped high in the air, and shot a Thundershock at Solosis while Magby released a flurry of Ember's, at Ralts.

(6 on 6 ok then but, for now I'll stick with them so, yeah. They will get hit too don't worry just not this move)

Ashley knew exactly what to do, calling to the trio
"Ralts, stop Riolu with Confusion, Cubone Earthquake and Solosis, Shadow Ball on Magby"
Ralts peering over Cubone's shoulder and her eyes glowed blue, outlining Riolu to stop him, she then picked him up with it and sent him flying at a pillar supporting an upper section of the room. Cubone meanwhile repeated the earlier move spinning the bone and slamming into the ground to cause a mini Earthquake, to try and throw off Magby's aim and deal some major damage to Pichu as, Pichu's attack went to Cubone's bone leaving them unscathed this being because, Cubone's Lightning Rod ability. Solosis meanwhile maintained in his air vantage point dashing with amazing speed behind Magby and unleashing a Shadow Ball attack on it from behind to catch it off guard and try to finish it quickly.

Leo maintained his watch over the battle seeing that all was in order with no `illegal` moves. Alexis meanwhile watching over the battle from the side with hers and Leo's pokemon. Five other trainers gathering round to watch, this battle being a much smaller one than Ashley's last but, still enough to draw people in.

Riolu twirled in mid air and planted it's paws firmly on the pillar, escaping unscathed. It's eyes widened as it saw Solosis and flew at it, palms outstretched, paws glowing grey to land bullet fast punches with it's Egg Move, Bullet Punch. Magby grabbed hold of Pichu and lept high, quickly evading the Earthquake, releasing another flurry of Ember's at Ralts. Pichu lept out of Magby's arms and bounded off a pillar, trying to slam it's tail into Cubone, using Reversal (EM).
