Arriving in Kanto

A ferry had arrived in the port in Vermillion City carrying over 200 passengers. Among those passengers was Draven Darkholme. A trainer with a single purpose. To control the world of pokemon. And Kanto was where he would start and make his mark. He had arranged to meet up with someone who was planning to form an evil team with the same purpose as he had given himself all his life. He walked slowly towards a forest where he could see someone between the trees. People looked at him funnily as he passed but he ignored. Soon enough they would bow down in fear to him.

"We will be docking in 20 minutes" said the voice over the P.A system upon the large boat. Standing out on front on the trainers deck was a female. Yes this female with stunning blue hair and blue eyes would have a smile stretching ear from ear as she was entangled within this shocking pokemon battle. The small round blue pokemon with Plus shaped eyes and two large shining antenna would be bouncing around on deck. From these antenna's the powerful blasts of lightning shooting forward and paralyzing the foes Eevee. This cute little water/electric pokemon would release a wave of sound emitted from rubbing its tenticles together to add a confusing effect to the now immobilized would be struck by a wave of bubbles erupting outwards. knocking the Eevee to the ground and havign wont the battle just before the ship docked Hana would leave the ship smiling before noticing the wierd man slinking to the group of kiddies in the tree. With an almighty blast the quagsire that would erupt from its pokebal would also release a stream of powerful water at the man.

Finally the ship docked into the port of Vermillion City. Draven was waiting at the end of passage. He could see several faces leaving the ship. Quite a few upset and disappointed. Draven chuckled. This must be the work of that person.Just then he saw a young woman with sapphire blue hair and eyes. He looked at the picture given to him in order to identify her. This was the person he was meeting. He walked over to her.

As her pokemon had shot the jet of powerful water at the ignorant kiddy fiddler Hana would look around. She also had a picture within her hands. Standing next to her Rain her poliwhirl would be holding a single water egg, With one spare hand free Tidus's red light would shine over his body returning him to the pokeball, Now looking at the picture she had received of her friend Beth who had been informed of a man who helps people on there adventures. This was Hana's first time in Kanto so before setting sail she had called the male up and had sent each other pictures so that they could identify one an other. Locking on to the man Hana would rapidly wave her hands in the air ""HELLLOOO IM OVERRR HERRE" she would say as she and her Poliwhirl would run towards him.

Draven smirked behind his mask then walked over to the woman waving her hands rapidly saying " Hello my name is Draven. I assume you have been informed that i help people with their adventures. I hope you are ready because we have got a long journey ahead of us. But first I want to test your strength to see if you are worth my time.I challenge you to a pokemon battle. One pokemon from both sides. Cannot use items". Chuckling he brought out a pokeball and threw it saying" Prepare to destroy your opponent Sneasel". A sneasel popped out of the pokeball.

"Hello Draven, My name is Hana Ryder, Yeah iv heard about you helping people with there adventures thats why i called you id like some guidance while in the Kanto Region" she would say smiling, As she finished Draven would announce his wishes for a battle. The word battle sticking within Hana's ears. Nodding she smiled as Poliwhirl or as she called her Rain would begin to get ready, "you hold on to that egg Rain, I think im going to test out Sparks ability, I just caught her but its a better time than any" Hana would say, They were at the edge of the pier so the water below would provide for excellent cover and Chinchou was able to battle on land, So with a small click the small ball enlarged within Hana's hand before being thrown into the air releasing a blinding light that would take form. The chinchou known as sparks ready to go as its antenna's sparkled.

Draven smirked then said " Ok Sneasel use Shadow Claw ". Sneasels claw hand gleamed purple with an eerie aura. Suddenly Sneasel appeared behind the Chinchou going in for its Shadow Claw attack.

The speed of the sneasel was superior to Chinchou, This would mean the shadow claw attack would connect not only striking chinchou but pushing her forward. A naturally quick recovery would see the water type pokemon back upon her feet in less than a second. "It's ok Spark now it your turn, Hit em with a Thunder Wave" she would shout quickly knowing that the Thunder wave had a 100% hit, Spark the Chinchou's antennas would spark rapidly releasing two large bolts of lightning shooting towards the ice and dark type known as sneasel the speedy pokemon. "Follow up with a screech attack" Hana shouted as the Chinchou released an ear piercing screech from its tiny body that forced Hana to slightly cover her ears.

Draven chuckled saying " Stalling will not work. Ok Sneasel use your far superior speed to appear behind the chinchou then use Shadow Claw again". Sneasel smirked then ran at the chinchou but then it appeared behind the chinchou with a purple claw aimed at the chinchou back.

By using its speed it once again decided to appear behidn the chinchou, This would mean it would attack from the back. "SPARK ROLL" she shouted to her pokemon before the sneasel had its chance to re-appaear. The claw of shadows would bypass the chinchou by inches as the pokemon rolled to its left....Yes right off the low hanging pier and into the water below. The water below somewere that Sneasels speed would have no advanatge. bolts of lightning after bolts of lightnign with amazing accuracy would be fired off blazing from the water striking in the direction of the sneasel

"Sneasel use Ice punch to get through the lightning bolts then freeze the water below" Draven said smirking as he did. Sneasels claw turned white then it jumped in the direction of the bolts deflecting bolts that were hitting the ice punch. Sneasel landed his claw back to normal however it turned white again and frosty. Sneasel then punched the water causing it to turn to ice. Only thin ice though. Draven said "Once it gets out hit it with Shadow Claw". However he did this via aura so as to not alert the trainer.

Ice was just hardened water, Frozen water which would still conduct electricity. This would mean the bolts of lightning that Sneasel was diflecting would still be effective upon his form. Thus upon striking said lightning his entire body would be shrouded in the brilliant yellow light of lightning. This would force the Sneasels speed to decrease yet no damage was done to the beast. Now the ice that would cover the water. It was a smart move but not smart enough. Sneasel had power but clearly he forgot they were in the sea. So while a large portion in front of the sneasel had frozen there was still plently of water to appear from.

This is what Chinchou would do and she would do it on Hanas command. "CHINCHOU BUBBLE" shouted the female who upon the command ending would watch as the chinchou would come up from behind the sneasel at the other end of the pier. Though not fully emerging from the water Sparks could still see an release the stream of bubbles at the unsuspecting sneasel.

( Sneasel was not hit by the thunder wave as ice even though it's frozen water does not conduct electricity and the ice would be normally effective against electric thereby deflecting it)

Draven grinned. Sneasel smirked then appeared behind the chinchou using bubble. It then used Shadow Claw against the Chinchou.Did the attack hit?

What do you mean? Give her the exp from the training on the boat or for the battle against me? When I said give her the exp I meant give her the exp from the boat training.

Another thing to add: Thunder Wave stuns/connects to the opponent upon touch, thus because the ice punch does conduct electricity, even if in pokemon Ice is stronger against electric types, it still conducts. So, I believe that Hana's hit should be called. On top of that, the thunder wave wasn't just heading to your sneasel's hand, it was heading towards the sneasel. I don't know if you have seen the anime, but last I saw it, it was basically big enough to hit sneasel's abdomen completely, his/her hand is not as big as his/her abdomen, and thus would bypass the hand and still go forward. Its like trying to stand in front of a fan, and stop the blowing wind with just your fist.
Secondly, in the anime again, Ice Punch could only freeze a small waterfall, note *small* as in it wasn't even 2 meters high. Seconds later it also fell apart, so trying to freeze a big part of the sea should completely be voided in my opinion.
So, Kare, if you would, I believe this is settled. I'm not sure if I can do this as a region mod, but I am granting Hana the hit, and because you are stunned, you can not freeze the sea either. Kare, feel free to void my ruling if you wish to do so.

Your ruling is fine Ryuji, your logic right. And you have every right to make a ruling as a Region Mod ^^

Hana could only release a soft giggle from her mouth as the man pulled back his sneasel after being struck by the Thunder Wave, So he was like that was he, Her own hand came up with the pokeball in hand pulling back her Chinchou known as Spark before turning around/ "Actually i don't think ill need your services" she said turning around. Her pokeball in hand as she whispered, "Good job Sparks" She knew her destination having studied this region. Cerulean city was her goal and that would stick with her. Smiling as she patted Rain who held the egg tightly they would begin making there way out of the city
