The Adventure goes on (Ashley Rio's Adventure) - Shocking Vermilion Discoveries

Ashley next asked Wartortle "You able to keep going?" Wartortle turning and nodding "Wartortle.. War.. Tortle!" Ashley smiled, "Ok then, Leo?" Leo looked across "Trapinch is unable to battle, Wartortle is the winner!" he then looked to both trainers and said "This battle is a one-on-one battle between Flareon and Wartortle! So, Battle begin!".

"Quickly Wartortle use Water Gun!" Wartortle and his copies all opening their mouths from various place unleashing the fourth torrent of water upon Flareon to try and finish it in one move. The crowd all getting stoked over the battle, and the other trainer's half beginning to realize that with Ashley having three more pokemon other than Wartortle available to use against Flareon, knowing that for the other trainer it was well and truly hopeless.

Flareon showed great agility in dodging the Water Gun with a Quick Attack. Instead of attacking with Quick Attack, it turned a wide cirlce and lept up, spewing out flames in the form of a Fire Spin. It would trap Wartortle and deal damage each turn. Then zig-zagging along it's course, it again swerved sharply and lunged for Wartortle, this time really attacking with a Quick Attack.

The Fire Spin took out the first of the two remaining copies and the Quick Attack the other, the real one being the only one that's left, Ashley then saying "Go Wartortle and use another Water Gun!" Wartortle opening his mouth once more and following Flareon around the battlefield with his Water Gun attack.

Flareon was nipped at the end of the tail by the water as it sped away again. It let out a light bark as it used the same procedure, Fire Spin and relying on it's 'faster than the eye can follow' quickness to remain hidden, on it's feet and agile. It used another Fire Spin and Quick Attack.

Ashley called out "Intercept them with Water Gun" Wartortle first firing his Water Gun at the Fire as it came out of Flareon's mouth to both stop the fire spin and, create steam. He then side stepped the light that was going through the steam towards him and aimed a Water Gun at Flareon's side hoping Flareon wouldn't see it coming through the steam.

Flareon was busy blinking the steam which was making it's eyes water. The Water Gun hit it straight on and Flareon was flung to the wall. Sliding down, it moaned softly and got to it's feet again. Hopping quickly but lacking it's previous agility, it used Quick Attack.

Due to the steam though, Flareon ran straight past Wartortle once more, Wartortle then using Water Gun again on Flareon's side.

This time Flareon's eyes had adjusted a little. Shaking away the tears from it's eyes, it lept away. It dashed, quickly regaining it's lost agility and moved in with a quick Tackle.

Ashley watched what he could see, and just noticed Wartortle getting tackled rolling back once more being used to these common tackle attacks he just took aim at Flareon once more and unleashed yet another Water Gun attack upon it.

Flareon, seeing that Tackle wasn't doing much, stood still, glowing ever so slightly. Opening it's eyes, they were a pure, milky-white. Not quite seeing, more like sensing the cold water streaming towards it, it side-stepped and the glow subsided. It was unclear what it was, but it hadn't hurt Wartortle. Then, regaining it's posture, it leapt at Wartortle again, fangs bared for a Bite.

Wartortle knew the previous plan wasn't working so, as Flareon leapt at him he noticed it had left the ground and couldn't dodge so, easily again. Wartortle using Water Gun on Flareon for what would hopefully be the final time.

Just as the Water Gun struck Flareon, a blinding light filed the arena. A star shaped figure glowed overhead for a moment and disappeared. Flareon seemed unaffected by the water as it shook the drops from it's thick fur. Now one could realize what the attack really was. It was Wish (EM) and since Flareon had recovered more health than the Water Gun chipped away, it felt fine. Once again the procedure for Wish was repeated and then Flareon dashed in with a Quick Attack, retaining it's 'faster-than-the-eye-can-follow' movements as it fluidly ran around the arena with barely a whisper of wind surrounding it.

Ashley laughed "Now this battle's starting to get fun" Wartortle though, realized because of the dashing light that Flareon was using Quick Attack again, using Protect immediately to defend himself, after he'd stopped the attack, Ashley called out "Quickly, use Water Gun to stop it from going so fast" Wartortle using Water Gun on the floor to make the floor slippery and so, Flareon would fall over if it tried using any speedy moves. Once the floor was completely slippery and unable to move across, Wartortle used Water Gun firing it at Flareon.

The ground, previously wet by several Water Guns, now was soaking. Flareon avoided as many puddles as it could, which was no easy task, presuming the number of them. It skidded on a particularly large one and a strange anger came over it. That Wartortle hadn't budged from it's place since it had been released from it's ball, and yet it was keeping the Flareon on it's toes. Armed with such thoughts, it swerved around, not caring whether to tread on a puddle or not. It hung on to the ground with the same tenacity one hangs on to life and rushed at the Turtle pokemon.

Using it's red-hot temper, now blazing fiercely, it raised it's body temperature to the limit. 3,100°F. The water all around the arena began to sizzle and dry up as Flareon stood there, glowering across at Wartortle. It's body had began to glow with a menacing red aura as it's body reached it's limit for temperature. It fluffed out it's fur but lost no heat.

Gathering the energy to it's mouth, it released a huge plume of flames at Wartortle, it's anger focused on one soitary being. Wartortle. By now, it's body was so hot that any water around it would evaporate immediately, before making contact and even any physical contact could cause damage or a severe burn. Flareon's trainer looked on, wringing his hands in a worried fashion as it speculated it's pokemon being so.

Ashley grinned "Now Wartortle Protect!" Wartortle using Protect the bubble beginning to heat up but, causing Wartortle no damage he then opened a hole in the back of the protect exiting and thinking Flareon still though he was inside. Ashley then whispered to him "Double Team and Water Gun!" Wartortle duplicating himself to make multiple copies before unleashing 20 Water Guns on what Ashley hoped was an unsuspecting Flareon, attempting to finish it this move before it could use that irritating Wish move it had.

Flareon, it's eyes now blazing red with anger, looked around, teeth bared. It sensed no coolness that all water pokemon emitted from inside the Protect. Raising it's face to the several copies, it flared up even more, evaporating the Water Gun's before they contacted it. It let out a ferocious snarl and chased round and round, but not moving from the spot. It seemed as though Flareon was chasing it's tail in a tight circle. Soon a fire began blazing around Flareon and as it dashed round and round, it became a huge wheel of fire. Jumping out and with a simple cry, it sent the large Fire Spin at Wartortle, trying to trap it in.

At the same time as the attack sped at the opponent, a large star flew by. Flareon barely noticed it as it's previous Wish was fulfilled, restoring a good amount of health. With a bark it let out a plume of flames, in another Fire Spin.

The Fire Spin just took out three of Wartortle's many copies, Wartortle and it's copies then all launching another multitude of Water Gun's at Flareon, becoming largely irritated by Flareon's Wish move.

The combined water evaporated into thick stem that settled as tiny droplets on Flareon. The steam rose up, condensed slightly and came down on Flareon, causing slight damage but more importantly, it lowered Flareon's body temperature. Unable to flare it up again, Flareon just shook itself and fired a flurry of Embers.

Wartortle and his copies easily dodged the Ember attacks before unleashing yet another set of Water Gun attacks on Flareon.

Flareon sneaked in a Wish before taking on the Water Gun's. They sizzled on contact but still left streams down Flareon's furry body. Flareon runs at a fast speed and then hits the opponent. While running, a whitish-silver trail is created behind it. It whirled around, breaking off the Quick Attack and dashed off again, using the same move in succession.

(God quit it with that freaking Wish Attack lol)

The copies were slowly being defeated one by one, Ashley looking on he then called out, "Now half of you watch for the wish star and prepare to use Water Gun on it, don't let Flareon heal, the other half use Water Gun on Flareon again!" confident of Flareon's tactics that Flareon had in fact used Wish. Two of the Wartortle's (Half, there's four left) prepared themselves and watched, sure enough the Star coming into view, they both then unleashed their Water Gun attacks on the star to either destroy it, or keep it back. The other two then unleashing dual-Water Gun attacks on Flareon trying their hardest to take Flareon down.

(You're...keeping count of the copies? Also, I'm watching from Flareon's point of view. Obviously I would want to survive as long as I could~ Tee hee)

The water passed straight through the star as it immersed into Flareon, who was taking the brunt of the Water Gun's. Dashing off again with Quick Attack and feeling weary with the drawn out attacks, it used Quick Attack to sprint at the copies remaining.

They all dodged the Quick Attack before unleashing four angry Water Gun attacks on the seriously stubborn Flareon.

It let out a cry as the Water Gun's connected. Shaking, it couldn't let another hit land. It dashed off, leaving a silvery trail behind it, using up another Wish before continuing it's Quick Attack.

(HAHA, Just realized it can't have Detect as it's Egg Move, Pokemon are only allowed one Egg Move each, and you gave Flareon Wish so, )
