Cherry on the Beach

Princeton could see that she released a slowpoke and began to laugh. ''Seriously a slowpoke haha'' He said getting tears in his eyes from the laughing. He could hear the pokemon being ordered to use yawn and he could see the pokemon open its mouth and yawn. ''Ta ..  Tauros don't breath for a moment it won't effect you'' He said as the yawn just passed him. He could then see a water gun as the beam of strong water was sended to him. ''Tauros let it hit'' He said as the beam of water hit the tauros and he got a smirk on his face. "Just like I planned'' He said as he smiled even more. ''Tauros use rage'' He said as the tauros began to stamp obviously angry and ran towards the slowpoke trying to bein able to hit the pokemon head on.

The tauros had not expected that a slowpoke would know the move called fire blast and he wasn't the only one. The crowd around the battle made sounds like ''wow'' and ''didn't expect that coming'' As the tauros tried to get away but the fire blast hit him straight on and a flame could be seen at tauros. ''Tauros no'' The boy said as the fire soon went down and tauros stood again. However there was a dark spot on the fur of his neck. He was burned damn it. How could this little girl do something like that to his tauros. She would see how strong he was.

''Tauros use scary face'' Princeton said as the tauros seemed really dark for a moment. It would at least reduce its speed so the pokemon would at least be able to hit it for a moment. ''Now use you're horn attack'' Princeton yelled as the bull pokemon put his head down and charged with its horns towards the slowpoke.

The tauros had been running really quickly but was soon engulfed in a bright blue light. It stopped him from going really fast but for some reason it wasn't really working the tauros was slowed down but the rage had made it angry as he kept running only a bit slowed down. The attack hit the slowpoke sending it back a bit as the tauros was released from the confusion and ran back to its trainer however it screamed a bit of the pain from the burn that he had gotten from the fire blast he had taken earlier. If the battle would take a bit longer then the tauros wouldn't be able to survive the next few attacks and the first battle would be over.

The tauros had expected the confusion as it kept moving so the slowpoke wouldn't be able to get a clean hit on him and wouldn't be able to keep concentrating so he would be able to slow him down but when he was trying to keep the confusion away he forgot about the fire blast and the move hit him full on. The blast of fire burned him really bad as he fell down on his stomach and he had fainted. ''No tauros'' The boy said as he went to it and petted its fur smiling. ''No problem we just have to work harder'' The boy said to his pokemon. ''This isn't over you just ade you're first rival'' He said to her as he returned his tauros, and began to run of the stage towards the direction of the pokemon center. 

''Ladies and gentleman we have a winner'' The announcer said as the board showed she moved up to the half finals.

Half an hour later (hope you dont mind)
''All the couples have been decided, and the half final is about to start. Please would the contestants Alice and Kate come to the stage please? ''  The announcer said as the crowd began to thicked. The people were clumping around. A lot of people had been watching earlier and now even more had gotten to the place where the match was, it was the half final after all.

A girl came on stage. SHe had brown hair and they were diverted in pigtails, with big glasses on and she looked really nervous and unsure as she looked around at the crowd. It was ovbious that they were the cause of her to be so nervous. ''Uh thank you for battling me'' She said sounding very nervous as she threw her pokeball into the air. '''Ponyta lets go'' She said as a ponyta appeared. The pokemon was obviously really taken care of good as the fire was shining brightly and the skin was a nice yelowish colour.

''Oh no ponyta look out'' The girl said as the pokemon tried to run away from the surf but she wouldn't be able to dodge it any way.'' The pokemon was washed away and had taken massive damage. ''Oh no ponyta are you ok'' He asked as the ponyta looked back and nodded. ''Use flame charge'' she said as she looked at the ponyta who began to engulf in flames and ran at top speed to the slowpoke awaiting for it to hit as it updated the speed.

The ponyta had been very glad that the attack had hit and so had its trainer. The few drips of water dealt a bit of damage but not too much. ''Yes nice work ponyta'' The girl with the pigtails said getting more into the fight. However he was hit by the attack from the slowpoke as it seneded the ponyta flying around the ground and rolling across the floor. ''Ponyta can you still fight?'' The girl asked as the ponyta nodded weakly. ''Ok use flame wheel'' the girl said as the ponyta began to roll and rushed to the opponent. Due to the speed increase from the flame charge it was much faster now then earlier.

The ponyta was stopped in mid role however it was very close and a bit of the flames went close to the slowpoke as it did a minor damage. However the conufsion slowed it down and held it at its place while he was doing the water gun blasting it right at the poor ponyta's face. ''Ponyta no'' the girl yelled as she ran to her ponyta and stoked her neck as the ponyta mad a weak sound and she petted it. ''It's ok'' She said to her pokemon while returning it to the pokeball as she walked to her opponent. ''Thank you for batteling me I had a lot of fun I only hope ponyta will be ok though'' She said looking sad at the pokeball.

The girl looked up when she said that it was stronger that the boy his tauros that had been gone here before. ''Thank you so much'' she said as she took the hand and heard herself introduce herself. ''I am Kate'' The girl said as she smiled. ''Thanks for the compliment you're slowpoke was amazing, and i would love to watch the next match with you'' The girl said. ''but if you dont mind i would like to go to the pokemon center first and get my ponyta healed up'' She said as she looked at the girl and waved meaning that she would be back soon. IN a few minuts she was back and sat next to the girl awaited for the battle to begin.

The announcer got back on the stage and began to yell. ''Ladies and gentlemen, The Finals are finally here, with our two finalists. We have the girl of wonders Alice, who had beaten her opponents with her slowpoke versus, the music himself the king of the beat rapheal'' He said as a boy with big headphones appeared rapping on his place. ''Yo yo yo, let's go'' He said as he threw his pokeball into the air and a loudred came out as he they got ready and they kept dancing. They awaited what would happen and what pokemon the girl would be using. ''You can do it Alice'' Kate yelled from the stands.

The guy was dancing on his place or more a bit moving on the beat he had on at his boombox. He was really good at it as he saw the pokemon come close. ''nah nah nah not gonna happen'' He said in a musical voice as his pokemon dodged the astonish and put its hands on its ears covering them when the supersonic came close. It didn't do anything to the pokemon. ''Ok now, na na na na now now use you're bite'' Raphael said as the loudred jumped and opened its mouth while going in a straight way to the flying zubat. ''So let me se what ya got'' He said keeping on dancing.
