Sato; Chapter Three: A trip to Aspertia City

As the sun scorched Ace, along side of Shadow and Blaze who rested in his pokeball headed off to Aspertia City. On the way he was looking for some pokemon trainers to get extra trainers.

No trainer appeared, instead a lanky pokemon appeared from the grass.


Level 17

"Sweet extra training, Go shadow do your thing." Ace said as shadow jumpped infront of Ace ready for battle. "I'll start i guess, Shadow use leer!" Ace yelled as Shadow attempted to leer down the wild pokemon.

Furret shuddered at the sight of the sharp Leer. It raced towards Snivy with extreme speed as it used Quick Attack.

Ace watched as the Furret came in for a quick attack. "Damn its too late to dodge, Quick Shadow block it." Ace said as Shadow raised his guard taking some damage from the quick attack but still standing. "Alright, Shadow vine whip go!" Ace said as Shadow sent two vines towards the wild furret

The Furret stared at the two vines coming and forgot to dodge, as it was squeezed by the two green apendages. It gave a small battle cry and rushed in with another Quick Attack.

"Not this time!" Ace yelled as he had seen the Furret start to burst at Shadow. "Shadow quick use vine whip at the ground to send you up then come down with tackle and tackle the back of the furret!" Ace yelled as Shadow shoot himself into the air using vine whip then coming down ready to tackle furret.

Furret jumped out of the way then used Fury Swipes, swiping at Snivy. Once. Twice. Two Fury Swipes.

As shadow hit the ground the fury started swiping. "Quick Shadow" as Shadow blocked the first swipe but was then hit by the second. "Shadow remember training!" Ace yelled as Shadow did 5 backflips and when landing sending two harsh vine whips at furret.

Furret got hit and was sent flying back. It chattered its teeth angrily. With a final, defiant clash of teeth, it zig-zagged and closed in on the Snivy, using Scratch, raking the air with out-stretch claws.

As the furret was hit back shadow smirked standing their folding his arms. Suddenly the furret appeared infront of Shadow hitting him back to Ace. "I got you" Ace said as he ran and caught Shadow taking all the impact in. Shadow then looked at Ace and smiled before fainting. "Alright rest up, Blaze get out here." Ace said as he threw a pokeball infront of him. "Blaze use ember go!" Ace said as Blaze shot small fire balls at the furret.

Furret was singed but thankfully not burnt. It eyed it's new opponent warily before using Quick Attack on Growlithe too.

As Ace watched the furret get hit then burst in again for another quick attack Ace smirked. "I got this one, this is all you have been doing. Blaze use quick attack to the left then quickly turn around and use ember as fast as you can!" Ace said as Blaze dodged the quick attack by using his own quick attack then turning around sending more fire balls at the furret.

Furret expertly weaved through the fire and then closed in with Quick Attack, then suddenly unleashed a vicious Fury Swipes. One. Two. Two hits.

(I hate you, RNG! T.T )

As the wild Furret weaved through the fireballs Ace yelled. "As the Furret hits you with quick attack also use bite. I trust you can take it blaze, i know you can." As Blaze was hit by the quick attack but instead of going back Blaze got the furret in a vicious bite! "Now throw him!" As Blaze attempted to throw the furret into a tree nearby.

(OOC: If your quick attack hit, it would be too late to dodge a bite thats the reason why i connected it.)

(It didn't attack with Quick Attack. It just closed in with Quick Attack and used Fury Swipes.)

Furret was flung back into a tree. It wasn't down yet but it was clearly on it's last legs. It used Fury Swipes as a final move. One. Two. Three. Three hits. It swiped quickly and furiously at the Growlithe.

(My bad didn't understand your move)

"Nice one Blaze" Sato said under his breath as the furret was smashed into a tree but getting up slowly. "Okay lets see i got a plan" Ace said as the furret closed in with fury swipes. "Quick Blaze i need you to dodge it one from time with quick attack and try end it with one more ember. Give it everything!" Ace said as Blaze dodged the fury swipes and sent intense fire balls at the furret.

In a last ditch attempt, Furret dodged. Or rather, it missed. Furret tried another Scratch.

"Blaze i know you can take one more hit. This furret is weak anyway, take the hit then when he connects with his scratch use ember and blow that furrets head off!" Ace said as Blaze was hit from scratch but at the same time sent fire balls directly to the furrets face.

Furret fainted as it collapsed in a heap, badly singed.

Growlithe gained 17 exp!
Growlithe level up to level 11 with 7 exp remaining!

*Resting Post*
"Nice one Blaze, come on lets go." Ace said as he walked to the Pokecenter with blaze beside him and Shadow in his arms. "Excuse me nurse joy, may you heal my pokemon please?" Ace asked with a normal gaze on his face."Sure" Nurse joy replied with a smile taking Ace's pokemon and healing them. Five minutes later Ace got his pokemon back. "Thanks" Ace said turning around walking out of the pokemon center.

*Looking through grass again*
"Okay lets train some more shadow you need to get stronger before we take on the gym leader." Ace said looking for something to battle.

A Machop was training in the grass. It approached Ace, waggling a finger, apparently it wanted to battle for training.


Level 17

"Shadow you can take this one, i trust you." Ace said as Shadow jumpped infront of Ace. "Your move little macho man" Ace said to the wild pokemon.

Machop surveyed it's foe before rushing in with Karate Chop.

"Hm it needs to get close to me to use his fighting moves. Shadow keep your distance and use vine whip" Ace said as Shadow kept leaping back and shooting vine whips at the wild pokemon.
