"Thanks," sliver told her as he put his bag back on "really you don't have a favourite type of food? well in that case maybe I should tell you wait at that bench over there and get something from that restaurants dumpster over there." he raised an eyebrow and his smile turned into a friendly smirk...he was teasing her.

She let out a small scoff, not appreciating the teasing. She was almost regretting having taken her headphone off. She looked around the open square for a moment not seeing anything of interest to eat. "I really dont care either way, just not trash." She made sure to add in the ending to avoid any further teasing. Miyuki's stomach rumbled, she had always skipped lunch to avoid the large masses in the cafeteria, usually eating a snack when she got home, however today had been an exception.

Sliver tried to hold back a laugh after hearing Miyuki's but failed after begging to giggle, "come on." he said while grabbing her hand and pulling her along "I know an Italian restaurant close by called Trattoria Trecolori ." he stopped after a few steps and let go of her hand after a few steps "sorry for teasing you and laughing at you...it was a little mean of me." he placed his hands back in his coat pockets and walked slowly beside her.

She greedily took her hand back after he had let go, her face a slight tint of red.
"Its fine." She said, her voice low enough to avoid drawing any more attention. Miyuki continued to walk her steady pace with no idea where she was going, while the two were walking next to each other it was still as if Silver was leading her towards their goal.

the awkward atmosphere hung over them until they arrived at the restaurant, once inside they found a quite packed rustic looking restaurant/bar "Wait here ill go get us a table," Sliver told Miyuki, he walked towards the kitchen when a rather fat man in a chief's out fit. the man glared
at him for a few seconds before grabbing sliver forcing him underneath his arm and giving him a nudggie. afterwards he was brushed off by the man and stood up straight, what they were saying couldn't been herd from a distance, but sliver starched the back of his head like he always did when he was embarrassed...but his slight twitching in his fingers showed he was uneasy. after a minute he walked back to Miyuki "right I got us a table." he was about to lift his hand out of his pocket but quickly decided ageist it and made it look like he shifted his arm slightly "come on this way."

Miyuki followed Silver to the table, her left arm was wrapped around her abdomen, the hand gripping to her side as the arm pushed into her stomach. She was ready for whatever food this place was serving.

Sliver escorted Miyuki to their table and sat down, after ordering their food Sliver let a brief moment of silence past before speaking "if you don't mind me asking why are you so reluctant towards people?......you don't have to answer that if you don't want to, you see I was and in a way a lot like you so I'm just curious for your reason that's all."

Miyuki stared at him for a moment while taking a sip of the ice cold water the water had given them upon seating.
"If you were the same as me than shouldn't you answer your own question first?" She pointed at him with a slender index finger, having reversed his question more or less just to have more time to think about an answer to his question. She didnt really know why she had a dislike towards people, maybe it was the less than knowledgeable rambling they did, or that the words they spoke were nowhere near as nice sounding or meaningful as the ones sung into her headphones.

Sliver's face darkened "my parents ignore my existence, the only person who ever truly cared for me is most likely dead and I have been beaten, abused, neglected and bullied everywhere I go because I'm different, I'm not the smartest in the class, not the fastest, not the strongest, not the most popular, etc., etc. So I began not to care and neglect my self from everyone and hid myself into my own little world and drew." he glared at her "just like how you hide from the world with your headphones, maybe because its because of the knowledgeable rambling they do, or that the words they spoke were nowhere near as nice sounding or meaningful as the ones sung into your headphones." he raised an eyebrow apon finishing "is that a good enough reason for you?"

"Yes." She stated blatantly, she was surprised he knew her reasons so accurately, it felt kind of nice for somebody to understand her yet at the same time she didnt show it. "My parents were murdered when I was about two, since then I have been living with an adopted family." Her eyes made a point of avoiding his as she spoke, yet her body moved a bit closer to make sure that he heard her. "Of course I was to young and dont remember anything about them, but its annoying not ever being able to know anything about your real parents. Aside from that I just find most people annoying or stupid so I avoid conversation with them." She stated. She had never really talked with anybody, especially not about anything like this, it was sort of embarrassing. Her eyes almost wanted to jump up for a split second to see his reaction but she repressed them back down to the table or over to the wall.

Sliver's facial expression brightened up, but he didn't smile...he didn't believe this was a topic that any sane person could smile on "I'm sorry." He began "I had no right to compare myself to you and I can see it made you feel uncomfortable. You obliviously had it worse then me," he sighed "It may mean nothing from me and I don't know if you feel the same way i did, feeling alone, nobody understands how you feel or what you been through and have to go through, deeply wanting to be close to someone but distancing yourself because you are afraid of hurting yourself or them and then all they see is the mask you place over your heart to hide your pain which becomes the mask that hides your face....I still feel this way everyday but it's not as bad as it used to be after I found a second chance." He smiled at his recent memories of giving Accel World from Ian, meeting and befriending Nekona and finally the memory just made yesterday of falling over in the school corridor and Miyuki being the only person kind enough to help him. "Yea I don't know where I would be now with out them and it..." He mumbled bearly hearible, once he realised what he said Sliver's face turned red with embarrassment, he avoided eye contact by looking at a nearby painting and sipping from his glass of water.

Miyuki sat back in her chair again, a distant almost angry facial expression matching how she felt. "I dont feel the deep need to connect to anybody." She stated, of course she had contemplated everything he said, but her social skills had sort of decayed so she mostly spurted whatever came to mind at the time. Her eyes continued to analyze the pattern of the table as if it was the most interest thing she had ever seen when in reality it was just a normal restaurant table. She thought back to what he had said a little before the thing she commented on, about her problems being worse, and it clicked for her. "My problems are no better or worse than anybody elses. I'm just weak and dont handle them appropriately." She admitted, yet saying something like that didn't embarrass her any more than being out in public with a boy did.

"humans are social creatures, we need interaction with other humans to function properly. even if it only one other. And we are all weak, no one in the world is strong or perfect. we all show weakness be it denying our needs, hiding our emotions from the light of day...but at the same time we aren't weak while not being strong for we show compassion and various other traits." he realised he was starting to sound philosophical like his sister was when ever she tried to cheer him up. Sliver smiled and raised his hands as if he was caught doing a crime red handed "I'm pissing you off aren't I, *sighs* sorry. but I mean what I said I don't think you are weak you're the strongest willed person I met to date."

Miyuki looked down at her lap, her eyes no longer jumping around but just starring off into space. Her face bloomed into a bright red, raising liker a thermometer all the way to her ears in embarrassment. Oh how she wanted to just snap her headphones on, block him out and have a reason to not respond to him. Miyuki restrained herself, going so far as to even take the headphones off of her neck to resist the temptation of it.

Sliver sighed with a smile when he saw Miyuki taking off her headphones around her neck, he new it would be hard for her with out them like him with out a sketch book "go ahead and put them on." he told her "as I said I don't want to make you feel uncomfortable around me, so I'm not going to force you to do anything."

She shook her head no almost feeling light headed from the slight panic building up as the headphones sat on the seat next to her. "I'm fine." She mumbled.
(Yea time skip, I dunno what to do XD )

"Time skip 8:45pm same day 'Friday'"

Once Sliver and Miyuki had finished their food, Sliver excused himself from their table and paid the fat looking chief who was at the bar talking to a few other people. "Come on I'll walk you home." He told her "I pretty sure you don't go out much and this is going to sound a little chilché but the streets can be dangerous." He explained himself while scratching the back of his head, then he noticed it was raining lightly...more like drizzling really. He had collapsable umbrella in the bottle holder of his bag which he took out, opened and stepped outside."so which way?"

Miyuki had followed Silver out of the restaurant, quite content with the food she had eaten. She pointed in a direction. "Its just a bit that way." She stated, starting to walk a moment before him, while still taking full advantage of the umbrella. She looked down at the wet floor, something trying to spring out of her, but something else continued to push it down. "Th- Thank you." She spurted randomly.

"Huh?" Sliver stared at Miyuki slightly confused, "What are you thanking me for?" He asked with the usually smile. He then gets light footsteps behind them, it was a man who had been following them for a while after they left the restaurant 'Sh*t!' He thought but didn't let his have match it though "You have nothing to thank me for, all I did was went out for dinner with friend and I had a really good time." He took out his phone and texted Miyuki about the man who had been following them for a while now, up ahead he noticed two other men walk out of a nearbyalleyway  who began walking towards them, his eyes darted around looking for an exit. All the could use was a second alleyway to Miyuki's right, which they had now idea if it was a dead end...that was the only option that didn't invoke fighting them.

Miyuki flipped her phone open, with a swift swipe of her eyes she had read the text and placed the phone back in her pocket. Her emotions stayed the same, seemingly void with the slight hint of embarrassment as her eyes avoided contact with anybody. "Thank you for the dinner." She muttered, her voice came out as a croak as she forced the words from her throat. "And the Umbrella." She added in. Her hand hand moved up to her face, cured fingers placed on her top lip, half covering her mouth.

Sliver stopped after seeing Miyuki's facial expression "don't worry about the dinner as i said it's ok i had fun and the umbrella you helped me so its only natural I help you out." he smiled before setting the plan to get them out of there. he stopped in front of the alleyway and place his hand on her shoulder "are you ok? you seem distracted." after they stopped the man who had been stalking them stood a few feet away "oh can I help you?" Sliver asked the man acting surprised as the other two men blocked the path enfront of them "Yea," the man answered him as the man pulled out a knife "give me your god damn money."

Miyuki fidgeted as he made contact with her, not an unpleasant motion, more like a surprised gesture. Miyuki ignored the man with the knife completely, not entirely caring about him, and assuming that Silver had an idea. "I'm perfectly fine, how are you?" She asked, turning towards him, the man with said lethal weapon now in nothing but her side view.

"Oh," Sliver said turning his attention back to Miyuki, "I'm fine," he replied "The reason I asked was because you were doing this," he pit his fingers to his lip in the same mannour she had done a few minutes ago "I didn't know if you were worried about something or if you just thinking." He spoke through his finger pressed against his lip...he looked and sounded ridicules. 

"HEY STOP IGNORING ME I'M MUGGING YOU!" The man yelled continually as the couple ignored the men surrounding them suddenly the man charged forward with the knife towards sliver, while on of the other one of two men was going to grab Miyuki from behind. In one swift movement Sliver tripped up his attacker, disarmed him taking his knife tossing forward towards the man about to grab Miyuki. The knife missed the man on purpose as it was meant to be a warning as the men who had tried to capture Miyuki got an scared expression on their face and backed away from her. Sliver kicked his leg up slamming it in the stomach of the second man as they both began to run away, one crawling and one running as he smiled to Miyuki, ''So....that was a thing'' He said with his usual expression on his face. he was unaware of the third man coming up behind him with a crowbar.

Miyuki had been standing perfectly still, her breaths deep and far between, her emotions kept in a calm check as she watched on. As she watched the last thug walk up behind Silver she raised a somewhat crooked finger at him. Without the time to force her mouth open and shove words out of her throat a quick point was the best she could do.

Sliver didn't need to turn around to get Miyuki's signal. he swung left arm around to block the crowbar blow, it worked but apon the block there was a load snap from his arm followed by a short shot of pain...he knew that was going to hurt once his adrenaline wore off. with his right hand he jabbed a pressure point on the attackers throat knocking him out and back while for a choked for a few seconds due to the hit. Case picked up his umbrella that fell on the ground and held it over Miyuki with his right hand before giving it to her and sitting down on a nearby bench outside a local 24/7 newsagent. he felt the adrenaline slowly wearing off as he felt blood run down his left arm, the ran stopped and it began to snow. Sliver looked at Miyuki "which way is it to your house again? We better get you home before something like that happens again."
