The Convention at Sea

The Voltorb, took on the attack and used a Rollout cum Thunderbolt at close range, turning into a deadly ball of rolling rocky thunder.

Genesis went straight in for a dynamic Punch attack. "Hey uh, do you think you guys could lend him a hand?" Lucas asked Blue and Bill.

"Right. Right." Blue started back to earth, who had been watching till now. Parasect skittered closer, charging up a strong Cross Poison and Vulpix bounded forwards, readying an Ember, bu they both lacked the speed and superior training of Magby, who oviously reached Voltorb first, who was struck full on, flew back and lay still. It had fainted. The Pikachu jumped in and used Thunderbolt at the advancing Vulpix, who fainted.

"Tch. Go Electabuzz." Sending out the Electric pokemon, it at once lept in with a strong Low Kick, which Pikachu dodged, but was too busy to avoid the Cross Poison. It didn't get poisoned but released another Thunderbolt at the Magby.

[Flame lets just go straight to Surge after this battle is finished. Why? Cause I said so :) ]

Genesis jumped out of Thunderbolts way.Then he ran straight for Pikachu throwing a dynamic punch.

(:3 fine, fine. You don't want to heal your pokemon, though?)

The Pikachu dodged before using another Thunderbolt at close range.

[I would, but I don't believe I have potions or anything.]

Genesis took Thunderbolt. Then he went through with another Flamecharge.

(No, I meant as in the Pokecentre and of the like.)

Pikachu got singed on the leg as it tried to dodge and found it excrutiatingly painful to stand on that foot. It unfortunately also got burnt and continued to take steady damage from it. Light sparks dancing across it's back, it used another Thunderbolt, wondering when it's ability would activate. Parasect shuddered with the Paralysis and Electabuzz roared forwards with another Low Kick, which Pikachu dodged.

(Magby's taking so much damage and using so many physical attacks, shouldn't it faint or Static come in action?)

[Genesis is getting hurt, yes. But he's enduring the pain because of his bond with Lucas is his Ambition. Should he faint? I mean what level is Pikachu?]

Genesis seemed to be getting wiped out. As his Pokémon friends tried to takeover the fight, He breathed a puff of Smog towards Pikachu.

Pikachu inhaled the Smog but didn't get poisoned. Breathing out a small sigh of relief, it shot another Thunderbolt at Magby.

[Oh, then I guess he should faint :P ]

The Thunderbolt was too much for Genesis to take and it made him faint. "Oh no! Genesis!" said Lucas.

Lucas ran right onto the field, ignoring the danger, and picked up Genesis and ran back to his standing post. He held on to Genesis. "Genesis...are you alright...?" he asked. Emerald...I failed, I'm sorry , the Magby said weakly. "No, I failed you." Lucas said looking as if about to cry. Then he swallowed his pride and Put Genesis in his Pokeball. Then Lucas angrily let Lillipup into the battle.

Pikachu smirked, getting to it's hind feet before releasing a large Thunderbolt with an angry cry, harsh cry.

Lillipup then attempted to counter Pikachu with a Thunderbolt of it's own. Then watched as the two bolts connected.

Pikachu seemed to have greater control over it's bolt as it tore away, charged, upto some extent by the opposing Thunderbolt and with some twirling of it's own body, steered it towards Lillipup.

At the last minute, Lillipup made the "cute but dangerous smirk". And then unleashed another thunderbolt

Pikachu absorbed it up, adding a little to it's electrical power, leaving it with minimal damage. It shook itself as electricity began to crackle in the air. The ears of the Tiny Mouse pokemon began to quiver as it released a large Thunderbolt, larger than the ones before.

Lillipup started running away from the Thunderbolt and tried dodging it. It came around to the Pikachu to use Bite on it's tail.

Pikachu was extremely indignant and yanked it's tail away, taking advantage of the close range and using Thunder Wave.

Unfortunately, the Static Paralyzed Lillipup, unable to move now. "Oh no..." said Lucas, getting frustrated that all of his Pokémon were losing to this Pikachu. "Guys...!!!" he called out to Bill and Blue, wanting help.

"Sorry!" Snapping back to Earth, they called in unison. Parasect was still suffering from paralysis but Blue extracted a Paralyze Heal from her bag, cutting the problem short. Electabuzz lept forward with a Swift, sending small stars spiralling at Pikachu which pushed it back, while Parsect's Cross Poison sent it crashing against the wall. Trembling to stand up, it used another Thunderbolt at Lillipup.

It critically injured Lillipup, but it only made him Angrier, and it naturally countered with another Thunderbolt.

Pikachu absorbed it up, and with a twitch of the ears, jumped forward with a Quick Attack at Electabuzz. As soon as it connected, it extended it's tail forward, Slamming it into the Electric pokemon. Jumping back, it watched the Electabuzz skid and fall to it's knees, this assault unexpected.

It quickly dodged a Spore released by Parasect and used Thunderbolt on Lillipup again, watching the other two from the corner of it's eyes.

Lillipup was then hit with the Thunderbolt, and fainted. "Oh no..." Lucas said as he sadly recalled Lillipup. "Pan..." he said. He let out Pan into the battle. "Razor Leaf!" he said, as the Chikorita flung sharp leaves at Pikachu

The leaves dug into Pikachu, leaving it hanging by a thread. That thread too, was cut by Electabuzz's Swift.

Each pokemon gets roughly 20 exp!
Magby gained 20 exp!
Magby grew to level 17!
Magby learnt Fire Spin!
Chikorita gained 20 exp!
Chikorita grew to level 11 with 10 exp remaining!
Lillipup gained 20 exp!
Lillipup grew to level 18 with 17 exp remaining!
Parasect gained 20 exp!
Electabuzz gained 20 exp!
Vulpix gained 20 exp!
Vulpix grew to level 12 with 9 exp remaining!
Vulpix learnt Fire Spin!

Lucas smiled. "Good Job, girl. Now return." he said as he recalled Pan. Then he let Genesis out. He was still fainted. Lucas put him in his arms, then he ran right out of the building and straight to the Pokémon Center. As he approached the counter, he put Genesis up and his other Pokeballs. "Nurse...can you heal my Pokémon...especially my Magby..." he begged, extremely concerned for Genesis. He hadn't seen him wounded like this in years.

"Don't worry. It's only an ordinary electrocution. We get that a lot, especially when Surge's around." She frowned as she carried the Magby in. Soon enough, she came out, with Magby completely healed. "You need something resistant against electricity. Why don't you head out and catch a Diglett or some grass type? They work pretty well." She nodded, sank into a bow and retreated to the back of the Centre.
