The Convention at Sea

It injured Pan, but not enough to critically faint her. But Lucas decided to switch her out, and he recalled his Chikorita. "Genesis! Go!" said Lucas. The Magby jumped in.

No more foolin around!

The Magby jumped in with a Dynamic punch to Pikachu.

Pikachu quickly dodged aside and joined by Magnemite, used another Thunderbolt at the Magby. Parasect quickly Cross Poisoned the second Pikachu, which appeared to be of a higher level but it dodged and Quick Attacked Magby, leaving Vulpix and Parasect free. Vulpix sprang upon Parasect as it used Grass Knot, vines erupting from the ground to twine themselves around the foes. Magnemite managed to escape due to it's spherical shape being slippery but the Pikachu were caught, exposing them to all attacks.

Genesis went right through the Thunderbolt, making the two connect, as Genesis used Flamecharge on Magnemite.

Magnemite did not expect this and was struck by the flames. It hung on by a thread and shook weakly. The magnets sparked feebly and discharged a light electric current, not enough to attack, but enough to paralyze, as it quickly joined with the two trapped Pikachu's and released wave after wave of Thunder Waves, preventing anyone to close in without getting paralyzed. The weak electric currents tingled in the air and emanated from the center, looked impressive, and yet deadly. The waves spread in all directions, looking to paralyze all three. Parasect shielded Vulpix and Magby, getting paralyzed in the process. Light lines of electricity danced across it's large mobile mushroom as it shuddered.

Genesis then Huffed and Puffed, and let out a cloud of Smog at the Pikachu and Magnemite, in a Smog Attack.

Magnemite was pretty much unaffected but Pikachu dashed to the farthest corner of the room, far away from the Smog. It slowly drifted around the room, the opponent keeping well away from it.

Genesis then went in for a Faint Attack on Magnemite.

The attack hit but Magnemite was resistant to Dark type attacks. It shook off the attack before hitting back with a strong Thunderbolt.

Genesis jumped into the air, dodging the Thunderbolt. His fist glew, and he launched a Dynamic Punch aimed at Magnemite's eye.

Magnemite was unprepared for such agility and struck head on. It collapsed and was replaced yet again by another Voltorb. It rolled around before breaking into a Rollout at the Magby while Parasect battled the Pikachu.

Genesis fired up his Body, then used Flame Charge right into the Rolling opponent.

Voltorb was struck but didn't bounce back, it just put more pressure, leaning forward on the smaller body of the Magby, continuing it's Rollout, trying to win out in this pushing.

Genesis struggled as you pushed forward with Flamecharge, pushing to his firey limit.

( ._. Uh...why? Well, if you say so...)

Voltorb pushed harder and stopped holding back as it had been, still not giving full power but not holding back either.

Lucas whispered over to Bill. "This looks Tense."

Genesis kept charging his Flames as he struggled, because he only got angrier and it added fuel to the fire.

Voltorb unleashed all it's bound power and pushed harder than ever, weighing it's full weight on it's foe. It marveled at the spirit of the Magby but wasn't going to back down either.

As Genesis charged, He formed a glowing fist and swung it at the charging Electrode with Dynamic Punch.

(Electrode?)

The Voltorb saw it coming and rolled backwards, avoiding the Dynamic Punch and rolling a wide circle, swung in with the second turn of Rollout, more powerful than before.

This time, Genesis let out a gas cloud of Smog right in Voltorb's way, and then dodged the Rollout attack.

Voltorb rolled through it, harmed but not poisoned and rolled back with it's fresh Rollout attack.

Then Genesis did the most unusual thing: He jumped on Voltorb's rolling body. He struggled but he was able to keep his balance as he kept up with the speed of the rolls. He looked just like an elephant on a ball at a circus. Lucas even laughed. As he was on it, Genesis blew more smog down at Voltorb

Voltorb started bouncing around, each bounce bigger than the last. It jiggled up rocks and hit them at an angle that sent it flying before using Thunderbolt, covering it's body with electricity that would definitely hurt Magby on contact.

Luckily Genesis was able to jump off the Voltorb when it gave off electricity, and punched all of the rocks away. It swept back a few steps, and used Leer on Voltorb, before mocking it with every rude gesture.

Voltorb just watched patiently before using another Thunderbolt.

Genesis endured the Thunderbolt, then walked slowly towards Voltorb as he took every electrical charge surging through his body. Then at close range, he used Flamecharge at Voltorb.
