Butterfree yawns clinging tighter to Raven's head as it starts to doze off so it won't fall off

Raven smiled before she stood up and put the egg in her bag with the top open. She then continued down the route, looking out for any passing Pokemon.

A mew floats by but quickly dissappears into the trees as quickly as it had appeared

Raven gasped as she saw the Mew and quickly ran towards the trees where it went. Many thoughts ran through her mind, however catching the Pokemon was not one of them. She found it amazing to see Mew, a legendary Pokemon, the ancestor of all, on the first day of her journey. In fact she would be amazed to see one a all, but on the first day.... She just wanted one more glimpse, just to make sure she wasn't hallucinating.

It was already gone.

Raven sighed before returning to the path, she probably had been hallucinating.

Raven continued walking, Pichus where baby Pokemon, she needed something strong. After all, she planned on taking on the gym when she reached it, she would need strong Pokemon. Not to mention that she had to train her current Pokemon...

She can hear someone laughing coming from a nearby tree

Raven frowned and walked toward the laughing, she would not let some lunatic scare off all the Pokemon.

It was coming from a shiny chatot perched on a branch. It was pointing a wing at her laughing it's head off

The girl scowled at the bird, no creature laughed at her! With a growl evident in her voice the sixteen year old snapped, "stop that!"

Her outburst just makes Chatot laugh harder

Raven scowled and growled, "keep laughing and I will have Cyar incinerate you." Cyar who happened to be sitting at her side seemed exited at the prospect of this, he wanted to battle!

"Why should I stop? You look so hilarious" the Chatot laughs still pointing to Raven, more so to her head where the sleeping butterfree was still clinging

The sixteen year old scowled and growled, "Cyar, use Fireblast." No one mocked her, now that Chatot would have to feel the wrath of her Cyndaquil.

Chatot flies up. "Missed me, Missed me. Encore, Encore" says Chatot using Encore so that Cydaquil would have to use Fire Blast three more times before it could use anything else. Chatot was wanting to wear Cyndaquil down so it couldn't attacl

Raven scowled when the bird used Encore, now that was playing dirty. However, Fireblast happened to by Cyar's strongest move. The Cyndaquil aimed at the Chatot and attacked, praying the Arceus it would hit.

"Missed me, missed me. Lousy shot, lousy shot" Chatot mocks after dodging

With a scowl Raven asked, "what level are you exactly, bird?" Meanwhile Cyar continued his Encore.

"Wouldn't you like to know. Lousy shot" Chatot says dodging again

Raven held back the urge to scream at the Chatot, this was going to far. Cyars Encore ended after this shot, she was free to do as she pleased. Taking advantage of this the Sixteen year old turned around and walked away, Cyar fallowing her once he fired.

"Encore, Encore" Chatot says using Encore again

Raven felt fury bubble up inside her, that stupid bird... Whipping around to face it the black-haired girl screamed, "I have a knife in my bag, you know! Keep pushing it and I will destroy you."
