Outta my way

It was apparent that her parents allowed her to go on on her own journey to Johto, but it had one price. Eri needed to go see the professor in New Bark Town, Professor Elm, a close friend of her father. It was like a courtesy call of some kind that needed her to sit and chat with the professor for more than an hour. She didn’t like it one bit at first but as their conversation developed she started liking the guy. It was pretty obvious that he knew a lot about Pokémon and she ended up taking down notes as he tackled certain things about the Pokémon world. The professor also asked her if she had a Pokémon because if she did not, he would happily give her one, but Erica courteously declined and showed the snobbish Gible that she had.

The girl would then go on and make her way out of New Bark Town and into the wilderness to continue toughening Gible out and maybe catch a couple new Pokémon that would interest her to be part of her party. The dense wilderness around her was a perfect place to start eyeing other creatures, hopefully she would see Pokémon that aren’t as boring as Rattata.

"Now come out, come out~" she mumbled in a snarky tone.

Suddenly a Furret ran past followed by a HootHoot who ended up chasing each other in circles in the middle of the pathway causing quite a ruckus for everyone nearby from the noise they made.

"When I said 'come out, come out' I didn't mean by twos," said the girl snarkily.

Eri watched as the two went in circles in their little chase. A Furret and a Hoothoot, she'd seen this before, but before, she didn't give a damn. Maybe it's time for Gible to meet the locals. The girl would let the small dragon talk to the two and fix this ruckus. Eri took out the pokeball, pressing the button to enlarge it and threw it in front of her, releasing her companion.

"Alright Gible, go and talk to these guys and try to sort things out with them. If one or both of them attack you, just try to dodge 'em," Eri explained to her pokemon.

The small dragon would hop towards the two who were stilll running around with the annoying sounds of 'hoot' and 'fur'.

The two pokemon stopped their fighting mischievously and went over to Gible attempting to shake hands (paws/claws) before Furret used a quick attack on Gible's chest and brought up his head revealing it's glowing claws using Fury Swipes all the while, Hoothoot was using Confusion to hold Gible in place which clearly showed that these two were no amateurs and of quite a high level.
