Summer Nights

This was it, she was finally starting her Pokemon journey. She was going to be a amazing trainer, one to be remember. The gyms and elite four would fall before her, accepting her as the champion. Yes, I will be amazing. The trainer that was having these grand thoughts happened to be Raven Turner, a new trainer that had only recently entered route one with her Cyndaquil walking beside her.

A Wild Sentret stood on it's tail, watching Raven from within the tall grass.

Raven frowned when she saw the Sentret, that Pokemon just didn't fit her. With a sigh Raven gestured for Cyar to fallow and began walking down the path.

A Hoothoot sat in a nearby tree, staring down on Raven and Cyar. It let out a cry as it jumped down, and slowly walked away.

Raven sighed when she saw the Hoothoot, it wasn't her type but oh well, can't be to picky. As a small smirk worked its way across her face the girl called, "Cyar, use fire blast."

Because the Hoothoot was busy fleeing, it couldnt' see Cyar's attack, and the Hoothoot took a critical hit and was KO'd on the spot.

Raven grinned and threw a Pokeball, the Hoothoot would be hers.

But the pokeball managed to hit a Sentret that jumped in the way on accident. The pokeball shook three times, then stopped. It seemed like Raven had just caught a Sentret, and she had.


Congradulations! You caught a Lv2 Sentret. Would you like to give a nickname to Sentret?

Ravens mouth fell open in shock, seriously!? As if the ironic twist wasn't enough she heard Cyar snickering at her side, apparently he found this amusing. With a sigh the girl picked up the Pokeball and announced, "your name shall be Irony, for obvious reasons." With that she continued on down the route.

The Hoothoot was left fainted on the ground for a hungry pokemon.

More sentret in groups ran by, and several more Hoothoot could be heard in the background.

Raven shivered and walked past the Hoothoots, she was not up to catching one after what had just happened. Besides, if it was anything like before she would end up catching one anyway.

More Sentret ran by Raven, this time, stopping and looking at her.

Raven paled slightly when she saw the Sentret, it was as if they where fallowing her. With a shake of her head the girl broke in to a run, attempting to get out of Sentret-land.

Soon a swarm of Butterfree are surrounding her on all sides seeming to be minding their own business

Raven continued walking, she was not a fan of bug types. To weak in her book, they where just to easy to defeat.

A Buttefree takes a liking to Raven and lands on her head

With a sigh the black-haired girl took out a Pokeball and offered it to the Butterfree, if it wanted to come with her she wouldn't stop it. However she wouldn't force it ether, this was the Pokemons choice. Maybe it will be of some use after all.

Butterfree ignores the pokeball fine for now just riding on her head

Raven rolled her eyes and continued down the road, Butterfree and all.

she hits something with her foot

Raven gave a yelp and fell over, landing flat on her face.

Whatever she hit rolls uneven into some grass by the road

Raven quickly scrambled to her feet and ran over to the rolling thing, bending over to pick it up once she reached it.

It was a egg. It felt really warm and was a red-orange color

Raven smiled, she had found and egg, sweet! With a grin the girl sat down and pulled a cloth out of her pocket before beginning to rub the egg, attempting to warm it.
