Holy Ground ~ Underworld / Hell

Nightmare stood up and ran a brief surge of electricity threw his systems giving them a quick wakening. He look at the spirit. His voice sounded harsh and cold "You ok you spirit?" he asked trying to be kind.

Mega fluffed out her fur in an attempt to look bigger as he asked if she was okay. "Uh, uhm. Yes...?" Trying not to make it sound like a question, she padded infinitesimally closer. The canine had intrigued her on many previous occasions but she had never interacted with it before. She flinched at the tone, but that was quickly replaced by surprise as the demon who had been punished or something appeared at the window, leaving Absol to look enviously at her wings. Her wings twitched, probably hidden from sight by the throne.

K9 walked slowly to her his long metal claws scraping the ground a bit causing an eerie screech. "I don't think we've been properly introduced. I'm K9 (( also known as nightmare or starscreech." he said dipping his head his sensors had picked up the fallen angle but he didn't care knowing he could probably take her easily in one of his many forms.

Absol flattened herself to the ground, belly brushing the cold stone floor. She flinched at the screeching sound; excruciating to her ears. "H-Hello. I'm Absol." She nodded politely at the canine, seeing that he was slightly taller than her as he stood. (Or so I assume.)
She cast another furtive glance at Ai. "Hello~" She called out in a friendly tone to her, unafraid.

Nightmare had a sort of snarl/smile on his face. He turned toward Ai. "It's ok Kage's not here I'm not going to hurt you...well maybe not a lot any way's." he called.

Auriel's wings folded behind her back and she sat on the windowsill.

"I'm not... I'm not doing it anymore..."

She gave a look towards Nightmare and then Mega, then quickly propelled herself to the opposite wall with her wings, landing against the wall and then standing up.

"Why does he do it? Why?"

Auriel looked at Mega, her eyes having the same 'soul staring' effect that they also do.

The white silhouette ruffled her fur, making it stick up in strands and clumps before letting it fall limp again, nearly brushing the ground. The demon seemed to be staring into her very soul, and she wondered what she would see there. Her crimson eyes followed her as she seemed to vault across the room with - she noted enviously - something of a single sweep of her wings. If her wings were true wings, would they be able to do that? Shaking herself free of those thoughts, she wondered why she 'had no pride'. In hindsight, it didn't make much sense. No pride in being a demon...? Or was it no pride in, ah, say being in Kura's palace?

Nightmare growled.  "Because you are a fool, you believed a demon could love a angle and you fell for it corrupting your self for some worthless demon.  Your a betrayer and that's all you'll ever be you piece of scrap metal."

Auriel could feel rage build up inside her. She might have just snapped and attacked him, but she didn't. There would be no distractions. She focused on her mission. Her one mission. Her wings erupted from her back and she used them to propel herself forward into the halls, sending a strong gust of wind towards Nightmare. She continued this manoeuvre which was almost a combination of running a flying, searching throughout the castle at high speeds. She had figured out that Kurai had left, but he had to have been there somewhere. She searched and searched in just about every room she could, hoping that one of them would contain Kurai so that she could confront him.

"I'll call the security" he muttered pulling his claws from the stone floor. He plugged him self in and let out loud sonic shrikes it was enough to bring most people down to there knees. He made sure it wasn't going on in the throne room encase Mega would be affected.

Mega's eyes followed the demon as she flashed across the room, and broke into a trot behind her, a good distance between them and the gap ever increasing owing to the difference in speed. She vaguely registered Nightmare doing something, but followed Auriel with dogged perseverance. Even if she went out of sight, she could hear her. And if she went out of earshot, she could smell her. Her claws clicking slightly on the strange substance underpaw - she'd often wondered what it was - she turned round a corner, flinching slightly as she put a paw outside the room and hurriedly withdrew. What was that awful noise?
