Roleplay Status: Holy Ground is a strictly-closed roleplay. You can send in a private message or a post asking for permission to join; however, you cannot just openly jump in or post a character as to prevent disruptions in the flow of the roleplay. Any private messages pertaining to questions about the roleplay can be sent to others or I. This roleplay also takes place in a chatbox, so only character applications are going to be posted here.
Description: Welcome, stranger, to the world… A world where there are only four dimensional planes; Heaven, where angels thrive and prosperity is known on the golden streets; Hell, or the Underworld, a place where all serpents and demons thrive in the everlasting darkness, hardly to be seen by humanity unless possessed; the Spiritual Plain, a place where any neutral spirit desiring to live in peace can live with others in perfect harmony; and Earth, the surface, where humans, demons, angels, and spirits all wander and interact with each other, demons against angels and humans becoming the greatest of saints, or the darkest of evils, possessed by power and greed… Many different kinds of creatures can reside in these worlds; which of them are you? Are you good, neutral, or evil; chaotic, peaceful, or psychotic? Will you sustain the perfect balance, or annihilate it upon a whim? You choose who you are; you decide…
General Roleplay History: You’ve heard the story of creation, correct?... You know, the story of the demonic lord being sent to the Underworld? You haven’t? Well, here’s how it went down… You see, there was an angel; some called him the Archangel, and others simply referred to him as the seraphim. In either case, this angel was the leader of them all; he was the most powerful. Well, one day, under his nose, his right-hand angel wanted to claim a bit of power and be the one in charge, even if just for a moment. He pondered to himself why exactly he had to always follow under the Archangel, and so he gathered a small group… He led that group, rebelling against the seraphim… And, in the end, he ended up in a struggle… He left the seraphim mortally wounded, while, in turn, the seraphim banished the fallen angel to the Underworld, lost to the darkness and magma below the surface occupied by spirits and humans. The fallen angel, known as the Archdemon, or demonic lord, dependent on who you ask, was cast with his group there, and they began to torture the humans and sway those of darkness to their side… Thus the balance of good and evil was established, and now, the angels care to keep that balance while the demons wish to destroy it… All the while, the spirits and humans caught between scurried their way into a new location, entitling it the Graceful Gardens, or Spiritual Plain now-a-days, where spirits, humans, and angels and demons of any alignment live peaceably together, away from the chaos of the normal world. With the four different worlds established, history thus ends, and the present begin.
Main Locations:
Heavens \ The Sky: A location of great prosperity, the sky is most known for its glorious atmosphere. A beautiful blue sky, a bit dimmer and dark in the nights, is the perfect place to spot the glorious stars in their natural states. Angels fill the streets, hosting their own economy, shows, and talent. In the deeper portions of the sky, golden streets lead to a small castle where the Archangel, or the seraphim, lives with his family and the angelic army… Nobody knows just how many floors the castle is, as the place hosts thousands of angels. Life is grand in the heavens, where typical residents that are those long gone from Earth never feel pain, nevertheless grief or sorrow unless intentionally provoked. The gates from the surface to the heavenly plain are golden, topped with ruby, emerald, and sapphire gems. Angels stand guard, a beautifully-designed and clear river leading to it. Not many see the gates, but when they do, they are theorized to come back with a feeling of tranquility and hope inside.
Hell \ Underworld: A location of pure darkness, the underworld is the last place that the lost souls of mortals wish to go upon death. Tortured by the demons that lie there, only those who become demons in their lifetimes, and sometimes the lucky souls that died, will be allowed to serve the demonic lord in his quest to forever torture the heavens. Full of magma rivers and dark hallways, the demonic king himself typically resides in a great magma reservoir, where most demons pray for good will. There are torture chambers located around the underworld, though this is not to say there are not flowers and trees in very minute spots for the demons to enjoy. There are also really warm springs, creating a sense of peace for a few of the inhabitants and their demonic families. There is also plentiful food available, just like the heavens. The gateway from the surface to the underworld is painted black, ancient text carved into the gates and walls affront it… In front of the gateway is a river of blood, usually considered to be from dead angels or of those left to rot for their crimes.
Spiritual Plain: The spiritual plain is a location of great peace. Like the heavens, many live in peace here, and oddly enough, no one seems to die when here. Typically covered by a grey sky and what seems to be a combination of a moon and sun, the lighting of the plains is just enough to see and for crops to grow. Nobody questions the nature of the inhabitants, as most are peaceful and knowledge-oriented. Many people carry around books or a form of technology in which they may learn or carry some knowledge-base. Even demons and angels that live in the spiritual plains disapprove of fighting, usually scolding the masses when they return to the Surface for temporary timespans. It’s definitely an odd yet unique place, riddled with peace and mystery.
Earth \ The Surface: The middle man of the heavens and underworld, the Surface is the place you’ll find most, if not all, humans that are still alive. Demons roam the surface in humane disguise, tempting the inhabitants into crime and darkness… Some are even pushed to the practice of magic and transformed by the demons that ultimately come to them, but on the other side of the scale, anyone followed by angels and inhabited by light are given great luck and prosperity. They are the ones that bring others to the light, saving countless souls and providing great hope in the greatest of trajedies. Whereas a near-constant weather is kept in other locations, the weather of Earth is odd; sometimes it rains, while in other times it snows or hails… Sometimes the sun shines, while others it is blocked by beautiful clouds. Nobody can predict how the Surface works; they may only try to learn and live there until their deaths…
Alignments:
Darkness: Those of darkness are typically categorized as having a dark color-scheme. Colors of red, navy, black, and purple are typical for those aligned with darkness. Usually having evil intentions, those of darkness strive to do nothing other than cause chaos and destruction… They dislike those from the opposing side, usually to the point that they will begin a fight to prove which force is more powerful. There are many forms of darkness, from personal and inner fights to just pure madness of the mind and soul. It is an ever-changing force, mysterious and, well, dark.
Light: Those of the light are cherry and happy, consisting of brighter colors and thoughts. Colors of yellow, aqua, and white are categorized to attributes of light. Having the brightest of intentions usually, those who align themselves with the light find themselves trying to bring peace and keep the concept of balance in the world. They dislike seeing crime usually, and will attempt to thwart it on a periodical basis. Whereas there are many forms of darkness and personal demons that can make people monstrosity, there is really only one form of light… Some people are theorized to have grown wings of feathers if they are kind enough and are bestowed the gift… But it is just a theory.
Neutrality: Those of neutrality are exactly that; between good (light) and evil (darkness). They can behave either in good or bad manners, and are usually easy to sway to either side. Those typically placed under this category are humans, as they have the choice of following a brighter path or a darker one. Neutral entities will usually try to bring a sort of cooperation between two fighting / arguing parties, offering solutions that usually benefit both sides, if not settle the problem in question. Some find neutrality a difficult alignment to hold, as people are always doing things either good or bad; there’s rarely ever a middle.
* Just because a character is of one alignment means nothing on their behavior / personality. It is fully possible for a good person to be dark, and for an evil person to be aligned with the light
Primary Supernatural Species:
Angels: Angels embody anything that is good in the world. Many have pure white, feathered wings that display their status, and can call these forth or hide them upon will if they are blending amongst humane society. Those higher up on the food-chain typically display a golden outline, commonly known as a halo, atop their heads. Very few stray from the traditional outfit of a white outfit, though some, particularly warriors, will. Angels attempt to thwart demons’ attempts to sway mortals to deeds of evil, commonly referred to as crimes. They are more concerned with the process of demonification, typically the process that results in the creation of horrifically-formed demons that kill.
Demons: Demons embody anything that is evil or dark in the world. Many higher demons don horns, eyes that are purely of one color (typically black), and wings that look as though they belong to a mythical creature such as dragons. Typically those that are of a fallen angel status have wings of black feathers, yet this is yet to be seen. Some higher demons have tails, though some do not. Many attempt to stop angels from saving mortals, and others attempt to kill the ones that are already brought to the light so they may not save others. Others wish to place humans through demonification, some of which literally possess the mortal to transform them and ultimately drag them to the eternal torture of the underworld.
Spirits: Spirits embody a role of both good and evil. They are peaceful, yet some can also be destructive. They are usually neutral and find little reason to side with either angels or demons on any occasion. They freely invite angels, demons, or even mortals to the spirit plain, though this is rare. Many spirits communicate with each other, talk and spend a majority of their time making observation of other creatures for entertainment. Many place a high value on education and knowledge, while others just prefer to reach enlightenment through meditation and the exploration of themselves as an existing group.
Character Creation Regulations:
1. Anything is permitted if you can build it with logic 2. Over-powering a character is forbidden, by power or history 3. Everyone has limits; give your character at least one that is reasonable and relevant to their history or abilities 4. Detail is a necessity, but don't describe a single action in 1000 words or more. Too much detail can end up boring the ones approving the character 5. Most importantly: More details and changes can be requested of your character to give them improvement. Please follow through with changes and negotiate

Roleplay Regulations:
1. The site rules and basics apply; do not god moderate, and do not disrespect others that are participating in the roleplay 2. When your character is within one realm, they cannot be physically present within another realm. Reasonable exceptions to this are manifestations created using powers (astral projection, for example). However, even if projected, one cannot physically manipulate an object, only spectate their surroundings 3. Important Note: Given that this is a chatbox roleplay, there is bound to be a lot of chaos. A Tale of two Kabusu:
Kitsune woke up he was alone in the world he chose to live in since his brother went the opposite way, away from him, he didn't know why or how he was made with out parents like the animals of the forest, All he knew was his name was Kitsune, he was a Nine tailed fire fox demon. He was born in the form of a cub so he was stuck like this for as long as he was alive, he didn't mind immortality and youth is great except for the fact you know that your brother is far away doing who knows what. He tried not to think about him much but he kept slipping into his mind, he knew all of 5 minutes and they went separate was like it was normal.
Later that he was up and about around the forest that seemed to close off a city from the rest of the world except for the Road there was only the city then the forest and ruins in it. He had decided to explore the city today since he had nothing better to do. Once inside the maze of buildings he was quickly lost, and began to shake from fear of being killed by anything. He heard stories of lost cubs coming into the city and never coming out of the city because they were hit by those big metal things on wheels or by a human, or other animal. He began to cry loudly from fear he didn't want to be killed, after all who does. "I...I don't want to die!" He kept yelling as he cried heavier. His ears perked as he heard paw steps coming toward him but the choing from the ally made it difficult for him to tell which way so he chose away. He ran head first into a creature. He jumped up shaking as he looked her over. It was a fox a three tailed fox. He couldn't distinguish whether it was a demon or not maybe she got her tails from a mutation in her genes. The other fox stood up and shook debris out of her fur. "Hey, it's ok, I heard crying and wanted to see what it was." She explained. Kitsune sniffled a little bit. "Was that you cryng a moment ago?" The fox kindly asked. "Y...Yea, it was." he answered honestly. "How come?" She asked. "Because, I heard tails of cubs getting killed when they stray into the city, and I didn't want to die." he answered back. "Well I'm Avatira and I won't kill you." She said smirking kindly. "Do you think I can travel with you then?" He asked. She simply nodded and started to walk and Kitsune followed.
Abilities / Powers: Immortality- Can't die of old age or natural causes he has to be physically killed by another being, or unless he burns out from overheat Pyro-kinesis- Has control over fire whither it was lit by something else or he made it from his own internal fire source Bilingual- can speak human and any animal Weaknesses: Burn out- since he was born into the shape of a nine tailed fox cub he has to constantly vent extra heat, venting happens from using his internal fire source for anything and happens automatically when he sleeps constantly burning the ground around him with his breath. Influence- Being born a cub means he has the brain of one meaning he doesn't know much when it comes to morally wrong or right so he follows the orders of his companions or his internal voice; this is his father who was a Tiger demon (good) Protective- He's protective of his younger brother Toreburu even though Toreburu might attack him first and more often he refuses to fight back against his baby brother, he also hates to see anyone fight against him even if he's winning Kitsune will jump in and try to stop the fight. The Tale of Two Kabusu:
Toreburu woke up in a cave. He had made his home in the mountains where people rarely come, and when they do they enter his cave then leave after seeing a lot of bones in it. A voice like honey that rarely said a warm word had told him to kill any humans that entered his cave. He has done it quite a few times and now there bones littered his cave. He missed his brother Kitsune, they were together for 5 minuets before what feel normal drew them away to search for something he guessed though he didn't know what he was looking for but figured he'll know it when he sees it. He looked at the collar around his neck, he had been caught once by a human they did things to him experimented on him studied him. That was his first kill but not after the placed a collar on him that was unable to be taken off.
He was walking around on a large flat area with a nice flat smooth rock on it, he used to sunbath on. He always liked the heat of the sun for some reason probably because his father was a fire demon or something. He Felt like he was being watched which kept him from being able to sleep on it but he laid there thinking it was just a mouse or something staring at him. out of no were he felt heavy paws hold him down tightly. "What are you doing here cub this is a dangerous place for cubs like you." The creature growled as it continued to apply pressure. "O please mister let me go...I...I don't want to die" He said before he started to sob. The creature got off of him. Toreburu turned around looked at him with teary eye's, he gasped at what he saw a tall strong demonic wolf stood in front of him. Something in side made him feel a bit funny but in a good way like weight had been taken off his shoulders. The wolf took a step back as Toreburu jumped off the rock. Then he walked down the path away from him. Toreburu followed him annoyed that he tried to kill him then had the audacity to walk away from him. Toreburu slid under the wolf almost off the edge but he managed to stop before sliding off, he blocked the wolfs path. "Hey I was talking to you Mister." He said. The wolf huffed and jumped over him which caused Toreburu but Toreburu instead of calling after him he yelled to him "I'm Toreburu Akuma, I'm an Akuma my self like you." he said looking at the wolf. He was pretty sure he didn't know what Akuma meant so he translated "It means demon and I want travel with you or stay with you I really don't care aslong as I get to be close to you I'll do what you say." Toreburu said pleading with the wolf. The wolf thought to a moment before he walked on Toreburu took it as a yes and followed him.
Abilities / Powers: Psychic: Can enter people minds to see what there seeing or there dreams or nightmares and such this also comes into play in weaknesses Telekinesis- Can move things with his mind, heavier the object the more he has to focus on it to move it Psychic boost: The collar around his neck amplifies his psychic abilities Bilingual: Can speak human and any animal Immortality: Cant die of age or natural causes he has to die by physical combat Weaknesses: Controller influence: The collar around his neck allows for more control over the vulnerable cub Influence: Being born a cub means he has the brain of one, meaning he doesn't know much when it comes to morally wrong or right so he follows the orders of his companions or his internal voice; this is his Mother who was a Fox Demon (Evil) Confused: His Psychic ability allows him to enter dreams of another person, he does this often to get away from everything, but this isn't only when he is asleep but also when he is awake, this has caused him to often confuse Reality with the realm of dreams. The fall of Insanity:
Kyōki woke up bound in chains that were bound to the wall of the great cave, the cave where dragons of all sorts gather to judge a dragon if they have done wrong. Kyōki has been here countless times for his scenes of outrageous fits of psychotic laughter and loosing control which is common for him hence his name which means Insanity. He was the dragon that represented madness and all beings saw as mentally ill. A old looking man with gray scales came walking forward. "Wind, what is the meaning of this what am I charged with?" Kyōki said in a demanding tone. "Your in no positions to ask questions, now shut up you're just here to be delivered your sentence for killing your clans elder." Wind said snapping. Wind was his youngest brother and was swift both in flight and mind but he lacked the needed power to be the clan elder until the last one was killed supposedly in one of his psychotic fits.
Wind stood the center of a circle flooded with the Time bound full moon. "Dragons of the council of justice I bring you my brother the perpetrator and suspect of the murder you have demeaned him guilty what is his punishment?" He called to a small group of dragons huddled at the edge. "He is to be sent through time and space to no longer be part of this realm of forgotten things. May he never find the twins of yin and yang." He said before they gathered around Kyōki who was growing furious and was slowly changing into his demonic dragon form as his red scales became as black as the rest of him and pure essence of shadows began to radiate from him. "oh no you don..." he was cut off as he disappeared in a blue flash sent through time and space to the realm of the surface where he wanders alone in the forest disappearing during the day into the ruins of a dark civilization lost in the overgrowth, and from time and space. This is where Insanity fell and lives.
Abilities / Powers: Impure transformations- Has opposite transformation Dragon blood- Doesn't age, and is immune to lava, and other source of heat/fire Flight- can fly Fire blast- Though only in his dragon form his able to unless a long devastating column of fire black if he is in his demonic form or white if he's in his Angelic form. In his humanoid form he is able to do short bursts of fire. Weaknesses: Insanity- He was born with the this cures, he was born with both demon and angel him. They constantly fight about what he should do, which makes him lose control. When he has lost control he blacks out not remembering anything he does in this state, this makes him dangerous to be around. Hydrophobia- Has a fear of water since he uses fire that builds up with in him, along with water makes him very weak at least when he is wet or during 15 minutes where he drinks it. though this is mostly in his Humanoid form a large amount of it could have the same affect on his draconic forms. Other Details: Spell lock- He can be locked to only have one form but that requires a being of the selected element and Toreburu and Kitsune. Tradition- even when he has lost his mind, he does things in a ceremonial sort of way not to stray from draconic tradition. Gay- Likes other males Character Updates:

Description: A black wolf with a translator and a necklace with a shape of a shadowed man walking. When he taps the necklace he becomes a human at the age of 16 wearing dark blue jeans a black button up shirt with no sleeves and a golden dragon flying up the shirt, a white short sleeved shirt under it, and he has a black tail and a pair of black wolf ears. The necklace becomes the shape of a shadowed wolf running.
Historical Context: A magical being, who use to be his master, gave him a magical necklace to allow him to blend in with other humans, though the necklace had a problem, his tail and ears stayed after changing. The translator was something given to him by a scientist as an experimemt, since it worked and had no issues, he was able to keep it.
Abilities / Powers: A magical being gave him a necklace that allows him to transform into a human and back, he can speak english using his translator.
Weaknesses: Has dumb moment and can take a lot of thing literally

Description: A silver wolf, and to most wolves, very beautiful. She has a black streak going down her back, and a thicker coat of fur, since she use to live in a much snowier land. She has sky blue eyes during mornings, and sharp green eye past the afternoon, though change isn't to well noticed. Her claws are very sharp and have gotten a slight red tint to them, but her big coat keeps them well hidden. Her teeth are also sharp and have a red tint, but because of how hard they are to hide, she says the they fill with the love for the other wolf if they ask.
Historical Context: She got her lust toseduce then murder, because of an unknown voice in her head, as she seen no wolf she was interested in, and noticed all of them in the clan liked her, she followed the voice's instruction and started mass murder. She got her name from seducing many wolves, before actually leading them to a trap and killing them off. But after meeting someone she actually likes, she ran off, knowing that if he somehow found out that she liked him, he could kill the problem of all the wolves. So she ran to the city, less wolves, meaning less chance of finding someone she'll like.
Abilities / Powers: Can seduce most wolves, which can stop them from attacking her
Weaknesses: Gay and Cyborg wolves, plus anything non wolf, she cannot seduce them, so they are able to attack her with ease. She also becomes very shy around wolves she may like.

Cast from the heavens for his treacherous acts, Kage now wields a beastly form, feathered wings turned to stubs with once beautiful skin turned to dark scales. Once a breather of air, he now breathes fire, capable of summoning magma from the acid in his stomach to his mouth. Truly the leader of all demons, Kage is never questioned in fear of being killed or worse, burned for eternity with the lost souls of humanity.
Historical Context: One of the first angels that existed in the heavens, Kage was given his name by the most important person himself; the archangel. He was given such a name because he didn’t really find much fascination with the sun, but rather, the moon, unlike his brother. The archangel expected great things of Kage unlike the other angels, and throughout the early years of the angel’s life, he seemed to be yielding to those expectations. The angel joined up with those that trained under the archangel to learn how to fight, and he made many friends of those that were among the trainees. All seemed well, but would soon turn bad when Kage became twenty. Questioning why the archangel held all power and why some angels had no freedom, Kage was scolded and punished with exile from the angelic militia… In great distaste, he began to desire strength and control on the level of the archangel. He went to his old friends, recruiting them secretly such that he could take possession of the archangel’s throne. They didn’t need much coaxing, rather finding themselves in agreement with the ex-fighter, the one who use to be the strongest of their ranks. Upon hearing of Kage’s desire and finding out that he was planning to take rule against angelic regulation, the first archangel began sending troops of the militia not aligned with Kage to strike him down. This began a war between Kage, his friends, and the archangel.
The latter ended up being fatally injured, though prior to his death he banished Kage and his friends to the underworld, turning them all into fallen angels. Kage was the only one to fall into a magma pit, and was believed to be dead by his companions until he arose a decade later. His skin had disappeared in place of perfectly black scales, and his eyes were a pure red with magma coming from his mouth. He had become a monster, and his friends became the first demons under the one they uplifted as a king. They began training on their own, and within a matter of years, Kage and his friends had lured thousands of humans to their death in crime, with others strong enough converted into demons like themselves. Usually the loss of their humanity meant shedding skin for scales and growing horns, but for angels that were also demoni-fied, their feathers became black and their skin a bit pale, their halos also gone. Kage formed a great society in the fires of the Underworld, one which was more free and opposite of that of the light in the heavens.
He still rules, thousands of years old while a few of his friends have passed away from various wars of angels versus demons. They live on in his darkened soul, Kage worshipped by every demon that is loyal. Unlike common demons, Kage’s time is mostly spent in a magma reservoir deep in the underworld, but sometimes he will leave it or travel to the Surface to mess with mortals.
Abilities\Powers:
* In terms of player characters and Kage's abilities, it is up to the OWNER of the characters if the abilities have any impact to prevent god-moderation.
Alpha Demon: Being the demonic lord, Kage can order about his demonic underlings. There is the chance that some may rebel against him, but those loyal will obediently follow any command he gives, no matter the severity.
Demonification: Being the leader of all demons himself, Kage has the natural ability to turn a mortal or angel into a demon. This must be done with the acceptance of the one in question.
Temptation and Illusion: Being the leader of all demons, Kage’s means of tempting a mortal or angel is more sufficient than that of a normal demon; however, this doesn’t mean he always succeeds. Most of the time any temptations he uses involve illusions (hallucinations to other beings) that push the target towards acceptance of the tempt.
Possession: Kage, considering the size of his form, usually will take possession of a lower demon or mortal’s form to roam around in; however, the form must be capable of sustaining him.
Magma Resistance: Kage is naturally resistant to magma; after all, his stomach’s acid is partially that of magma itself. His wounds usually mend a smidge faster when he is submerged in magma, and he has a strong preference for it over water.
Weaknesses:
Broken Temptations: Kage’s illusions are none other than hallucinations; therefore, if someone has a strong enough grasp on reality to catch them, the illusion can be broken. If someone has a will strong enough to break a temptation, then they are also prone to failure.
Possessive Failure: As stated prior, Kage needs a form capable of sustaining his body and soul. If the form he possesses is unable to, the host will perish and he’ll be left with his own shape outside of the dead host’s form. It is also possible for Kage to be expelled from his form by someone of suitable power that can do so.
Angelic Light: Being a demon, Kage rarely, if at all, will travel into angelic domain. Prolonged exposure to light in the heavens can cause him to become a bit ill or frail. He is also a bit more susceptible to abilities involving water, as his current shape originates mostly from magma itself.
Other Details: 1. Kage has a brother; however, the whereabouts of his brother are unknown. His brother hasn’t been seen since the conclusion of the first demonic war involving the slaughter of the first archangel; however, some theorize that his brother lives in the underworld, watching over him and serving secretly as a lower demon. 2. Kage has a fond appreciation for magma. He is capable of spitting out magma in some instances, and he spends most of his time in a magma reservoir. The reserve is his home, and though he doesn’t admit it, finds the massive heat of the magma comforting in his banishment.

Black and red fur in tow, the wolf sinks its fangs into its pray. Those that escape an attack fear for their lives until they are in safety... Little do they know that this wolf, who has bitten them, plans to feast on their energy and use them for a home. The wolf, parasitic as a demon, has full control over their lives upon sinking fangs even partially into its next host.

Unknown to the commoners, an innocent male of 20 or so walks by them, black, silky hair atop his head. His outfit reveals nothing of his true shape, the boy following a suitable victim before revealing himself, sinking in his teeth to leave the one attacked stunned and with the realization they'll never make the same mistake again.
Historical Context: Kurai, a demonic wolf, had little more than a normal life as a pup. Born by a demonic wolf and one of the surface, the half-breed is nothing more than the pure representation of a demon. A parasite by nature, his first victim was the alpha of the pack when he was simply a couple of years old. Nobody saw the wolf after his first host had died, though the wolf was taken in by a demon that had watched what had happened to the alpha. The stranger treated Kurai with kindness, despite being a demon himself, and gained Kurai’s trust. The wolf did everything for the stranger, learning to speak and use his abilities under the demon. When he wanted to leave, the demon wouldn’t let him, so in order to escape, his owner became his next victim. When his owner died, he began roaming the underworld and surface as a lone wolf, disguising himself as one of the humans, despite a couple of key features, to locate his prey.
A few months after killing his owner, and having been through two more victims, Kurai found himself in the mood for a little bit of hunting as an actual wolf over being disguised. He found himself in front of a tiger cub, and he pounced. He had been unaware that the tiger cub was a demon, Kurai eventually releasing the cub finding it had plead with him to let it live. Upon being requested to be a travel companion, the wolf didn’t speak, but in his own ways, he ultimately accepted it, recruiting the cub as a companion, perhaps even as a servant.

Parasitic Bite \ Possession: Upon biting a victim, Kurai has a choice to either kill the victim then and there, or use their body as a host for nutrition. If it’s the latter, the victim is allowed to live with the knowledge of his possession; as such, their behavior and eating habits will change to what he desires.
Transformation (between forms): Kurai has an odd ability to shift between his natural shape and a more humane shape for blending in with humane society. Usually he uses his “disguise” as a means of locating prey and parasitically biting them.
Enhanced Senses \ Physicality: Being a wolf, Kurai’s sense of smell, sight, and hearing are greatly enhanced over that of a normal mortal’s. He is also a bit faster and stronger than a normal human as well; however, he still has his limits.
Demonic Luring: Kurai can select a target, of his choosing, and set on them a psychological desire to locate him. Usually he doesn’t reside too far away, emitting a psychological signal only the target can distinguish and follow. This is typically utilized to lure his victims away for his possession.
Bilingual: (Wolf, Humane, Ancient Demonic Language) Naturally residing as a wolf, Kurai’s understanding of the human language is significant in comparison to another wolf. It also makes him special as a demon, as he can communicate well with hounds or other canines of any alignment. He is very well spoken and typically has no problems reading or speaking; however, he is only capable of writing in demonic language.
”Weaknesses”:
Possession: Kurai’s hosts don’t live forever, especially if he over-feasts on his host’s energy. If he’s careful enough, he can keep his host alive, but otherwise they will die. Also, if captured in his possession, he can be expelled from his host by a suitable angelic power.
Failed Luring: Kurai’s luring can fail, especially if the target being selected is capable of ignoring the lure or gets pried away by a group of people such that their focus is taken away from the signal he gives off. It is also entirely possible that, upon revealing his form, the psychological change is diminished.
Writing: Kurai, despite being capable of reading and speaking humane language, is completely unable to write humanely. The only language which he can write is an ancient demonic language still used in modern times by demons, making some tasks of humane life difficult for him.
Angels \ Holy Water \ Normal Impacts: Being a demon, Kurai is capable of being harmed by angels or holy water if it is owned by the person he's going after. Being a lower demon, he is also capable of being injured by normal means.
Other Details: 1. Most canines have a fond hatred for felines; however, Kurai could care less about whether a feline exists or not. He actually had a friend that was a feline at some stage (since deceased). 2. Being a demon, Kurai is definitely immortal; however, he can still be killed.
