Zach and The Z-Force

Zach: Thunder!

Neo started gathering electricity in it's fur and tail, and unleashed an unforgivable electric bolt towards Patrat.

(Unforgivable?)

The Patrat was struck and it teetered back, stunned. Shaking off the tingly feeling in it's fur (which had absorbed some of the electricty), it moved in with another Crunch.

(Couldn't think of a better word)

Zach: Tackle!

Neo took the Crunch as he countered with Tackle Attack.

The air was knocked out of Patrat as it staggered. It dropped to all fours, turned around and threw handfuls at sand at the Shinx, trying to lower it's accuracy with Sand-Attack. It then turned around and stood perfectly still, glowing faintly.

The sand hit Neo in the face and lowered it's accuracy.

Zach: Thunder!

Neo charged up more Electricity, and unleashed another Bolt of thunder at Patrat.

Thank's to the lowered accuracy, the Thunderbolt just grazed by. Patrat winced but didn't attack, still glowing.

Zach looked at the Patrat in curiosity.

Zach: What's it doing?

He decided to just attack.

Zach: Neo, use Tackle again.

Neo charged fourth in a tackle.

Patrat squealed with pain but still stood still, hanging on.

Zach didn't know why the Trainer wasn't having it's Patrat do anything.

Zach: Uh, Use Thunder again!

Neo looked confused at the situation as well, so he went with his trainer's commands and unleashed another thunder attack.

Patrat hung on by a thread. This was the opportunity it had been waiting for. "Now!" The trainer bellowed as the Patrat jumped up and shot a huge, dazzlingly white beam at the Shinx, the light blinding, it was indeed a powerful Bide, what with all the damage it had taken. The beam shot straight at the Shinx with unbelievable speed, almost too fast to dodge.

Zach: Oh Crap! Quick, Thunder!

Neo attempted a counter, and unleashed a Thunder attack to try and push the beam back.

Patrat fought back on, the beam obviously very powerful, what with all the damage it had taken. It pushed forth even more, trying to get it's beam to win.

Zach crossed his fingers as he cheered on his Shinx.

Zach: Come on Neo! I know you can push it further! I believe in you!

Neo pushed the Thunder to it's limit, not wanting to let his master down.

Patrat strained to fight the Shinx, pushing it's beam to the absolute limit, even taking a few steps forward as it fought to keep up with it's opponent.

Zach: Wait a minute...

Zach checked Neo's stats on his Pokedex.

Zach: I know! Neo! Keep doing it and use Charge!

Neo started charging energy, and increased the power to the Beam

Patrat panicked. He was rapidly being pushed back. Quickly breaking the beam, it lept away before dashed towards the Shinx, it's tail steely gray.

Neo used Charge again, and once again pushed the beam with all it's might, all in the name of it's trainer.

Patrat dodged and tried to slam it's Iron Tail into Neo.

Zach grinned.

Zach: Perfect! Thunder again!

Neo countered the Patrat with a Thunder, with Patrat leaving itself open.

(So did the Iron Tail hit or not?)

Patrat was struck full on, but not before extending it's tail to try and slam Neo at close range. Patrat collapsed and was withdrawn, to be replaced by Misdreavus.


Level 14

Neo took the Iron Tail and looked pretty hurt. It looked like he could go on further, but Zach decided that it was time for Neo to take a rest, so he sent out Kex the Houndour.

Kex: Hound! Hound!

Zach: Alright Kex, use Ember!

Kex shot out a Fireball from his mouth at Misdreavus.

[Don't forget my EXP :) ]

(Of course not. Ooh. Bad choice. Misdreavus is Ghost type which is super-effective on Dark.)

Misdreavus melted into the air and simply materialized some way away, easily dodging the Ember and playfully sticking it's tongue out at the Houndour. It twirled before using Confuse Ray, trying to confuse it's opponent.

Kex became confused during battle.

Zach: Use Sucker Punch!

Kex was confuse, but not enough that he was able to perform the attack as ordered.

[Am I allowed to switch Pokémon during this competition?]

(Hmm...Do they in the competitions? I don't think so. :/ Sorry, but no.)

Misdreavus took the attack, chuckling, before jumping in with a Shadow Sneak, disappearing in the shadows and trying to strike Houndour. Misdreavus' shadow zoomed forward until it is behind the opponent. The shadow then raised one of its fists and the fist came out of the ground. A burst of energy erupted from the ground under the opponent from the shadows. Even if the light were bright, Misdreavus could create multiple shadows to attack.

The attacks really hurt Kex, knocking him back.

Zach: Oh no! Use smog!

Kex let out a breath of Smog on Misdreavus
