Tsuki in Viridian! Divine319

Tsuki didn't say much the rest of the trip to Viridian City but was excited when he finally entered the city.

"I think we should head to the Pokemon Center to get our Pokemon healed." Tsuki suggested.

Shirai unwrapped herself from Tsuki and started walking...er....slithering? to the Pokemon Center.

"Ugh, yeah I guess we should go on and do that. Is there anything else to do in this city?!" he yelled as he began to find that this town was mostly vacant and boring.

"Oh my god. There's a gym bro!" Miles exclaimed with a fist pump and and a big smile.

Tsuki nodded but something tickled his brain about this gym.

"Dratini!" (Backtrack!) Shirai said.

"Oh that's right. Thanks Sissy." Tsuki said patting his twin on her head. "Sissy says that this is the last Gym in Kanto. We have to backtrack to this one once we get the Volcano Badge."

"Oh...pffft I knew that~" he muttered, embarrassed that he was fooled. "Lets go to the Poke'center to heal our Pokemon then we should be set to move on." Miles said as the Charmander made its way out of the poke ball.

"Oh, Rosto, were gonna go heal up then head to the next city. Pewter City."

Tsuki followed Shirai to the Pokemon center and dropped off his Pokemon to be healed. While his Pokemon were recovering, he went to the Pokemart to get supplies. He managed to get 3 potions for the road to Pewter, more ingredients for his Pokemon cookies, more food for himself, and a box of herbal tea designed to help soothe his vocal chords when they started to hurt.

After everything was purchased, he went back to the Pokemon Center to reclaim his now healthy Pokemon. Tsuki was in awe when is sister came back and saw that her scales held a slight sparkle. Scyther looked like he could go a few rounds with Rosto and be able to hold his own. Last but not least Tsuki looked at Shinx. Shinx looked as if she was ready to unleash a powerful electric attack.

“You all look great. Even better than what I can do. Are you guys ready to go?” Tsuki asked.
“Scy.” Scyther nodded
“Shinx.” The small lynx nodded as well.
“Draaaatini!” (Yes little brother.) Shirai said as she wrapped herself around Tsuki’s waist and put her head on his shoulder.

“Oh, hush Shirai! You are only older by thirty minutes.” Tsuki responded as he picked up the two pokeballs on the tray. “Scyther, Shinx, Return!”

The Bug Pokemon and the Electric Pokemon both vanished in a beam of red light.

As Tsuki ran off to complete a few errands, Miles decided he would relax at the Pokecenter and wait for all of their Pokemon to become fully rested. While in the meantime, he organized his bag and did many other trivial time passers. After sitting at the center for a hour, he decided to leave and explore the city.


Walking silently down the street, he turned right as he approached the end of the street. H knew where he was heading. Ahead of him was the Viridian Forest.

"Not going there yet." he noted to himself as he took the left down to a one way street. AT the end of this street, was the 8th Gym. The only thing standing between him and the Pokemon League. With a smile he walked up to the door to take a peak inside, but the door seemed to be broken.

A old man, who happened to be standing outside the gym spoke up, "Hey kid, the Gym Leader isn't here....seems that hes always gone." he said

Miles sighed, simply making his way back to the main street of what seemed to be a very small town. Miles was used to the skyscrapers of Saffron City. Before stopping at the Pokemon center he went to the store, where Tsuki had just left. The only reason Miles knew that is because they were almost out of potions on the shelves. Now that he had bought 2 potions, he was ready to get a move on.

Back at the Pokemon center, he saw that Tsuki was back, and was gathering the group together. "Oh sorry, I went for a walk. Scarlet, return." he said slightly lower than his usual speaking voice. As he saw that Rosto and the Scyther were butting heads, Miles grabbed his Pokemon and gave a light pet to the bug type Pokemon.

"Ready?"

Tsuki nodded. "Yes. Lets go."

Tsuki put the two Pokeballs back in the holder on the inside of his jacket. He took the lead and headed for the Viridian Forest.

"Looks like we could just get around that tree and then onward." Miles said as he navigated the map. With his head in the map, there was no way he would have seen the impending danger! As the bird swiftly approached Rosto began to wonder how Miles was so boneheaded. The Charmander jumped from Miles' shoulder into the air to meet the bird pokemon.

Miles looked up quickly as he felt the Pokemon leave his shoulder, and into the air. At that point Miles still didnt realize what was going on until the Pidgey was in plain sight!

Tsuki wasn't paying attention. He was in his own little world as he thought about how he was going to beat the Rock Gym Leader with the Pokemon he had. Shirai was snoozing on his shoulder under his coat.
When Rosto jumped from Miles' shoulder the sudden movement startled Tsuki. Tsuki's voice locked disabling his ability to say "OW" as he landed on his rear. The sudden bump as Tsuki collided with the ground woke Shirai, who wasn't exactly happy to be woken up like that. Tsuki looked up and saw finally saw the Pidgey.

Miles jumped back slightly as Rosto went head on into the bird Pokemon. Using his tough head the Charmander smashed his head into the Pokemon, sending it back and onto the ground.


"W-what the hell?" he muttered as he glanced to his rigght, where Sissy looked less than pleased, and Tsuki on the ground. Helping up his bud, he watched his Pokemon land back on the ground, rubbing its head fiercely.

"You ok Rosto?" Miles asked, concerned. His Pokemon nodded, beginning to shake it off.

Miles watched as his Pokemon failed at a simple task and fell to the ground.  Miles kept watch over the Pokemon as it flew right over his head.

"He's aggressive!" Miles noted as the Pidgey, flew behind them and immediately kicked up a gust of dust and wind. Rocks, wind twirling around them. "Tsuki, Im gonna take it on!" Miles exclaimed as he returned Rosto and threw out a new addition. "Go, Scarlet!" he exclaimed as the bird came out, already used to the Gusts.

"Use Gust!" he exclaimed

Tsuki barley heard Miles due to dealing with Shirai.

"Shirai! You know better than that. If Momma was still here, you know she'd wash your mouth out for using language like that!" Tsuki scolded.

"Dratini Dra." (You're right, I'm sorry.) Shirai said apologetically.

Miles decided to kick up another gust simply to throw off the bird, when it began to dive for Farfetch'd, Miles squinted his eyes, waiting for the right moment to call the command. As it picked up speed Miles spoke quickly and calmly.

"Scarlet, use Aeriel Ace!" Miles commanded as the Pidgey quickly approached. The all out dive was coming right for Scarlet but Scarlet had her own attack ready!

Miles grunted as he saw his newest Pokemon get pummeled by a mere tackle attack. Instead pf leaving his Pokemon out there to endure the pain, Miles withdrew the lower leveled bird.

"Return Scarlet." Miles said sternly, scowling at the Pidgey, which seemed to be scowling right back after its tackle attack hit the air. Miles kept his emerald green eyes locked on the bird, as it kicked up sandstorms and caused trouble. Putting the Pokeball back on his belt and clicking it into place. Miles snatched the next Pokeball off his belt, as he only had two in the first place.

"Rosto, lets do this!" Miles exclaimed, releasing the Charmander onto the ground where the sand storm was still partially blinding him. "Rosto, use Flare Blitz directly at those gusts!" Miles commanded.

Miles knew this could do irreparable damage to the area, but this Pidgey got on his damn nerves! It taunted him, as well as hurting his Pokemon. Miles was serious, and he wasn't gonna run away willingly.

Miles kept the stern cold look he had on, whilst looking at the damage and destruction the lizard Pokemon had created. "Great Job Rosto! Now, were gonna need to figure this out... Return!" he commanded from his best friend.

"Your foes weak, come out Scarlet!" he announced as the Pidgey watched with caution. That bird WAS persistent. "Scarlet, kick up some more gusts, make sure to pick the fire up!" Miles grinned as now that the small gusts were now turning into full fire tornadoes.

"At least were out of the city limits..."

Miles watched in horror as his worst nightmares came into reality. The nearby fields, and some trees began to catch flame, and quickly. Miles quickly returned the Charmander a sits deed was done. As if it was a movie you can see a single shadow fall from the smoke plumes, ash and ember surrounding.

What had Miles done? He had defeated the pokemon, and was planning on capturing it. AT least then he could bring it to the Pokemon center to be checked out and hopefully healed. The fire surrounded the duo.

"...." Miles stood speechless as he threw the poke ball at the Pidgey that lay gasping for air.

Tsuki saw the fire attack and the potential damage it was about to do. Tsuki turned around and ran back to Viridian City. He was running faster than he ever thought he could. He eventually made it back to the outskirts of the city. Tsuki's lungs burned with each step as the building he was looking for loomed in front of him. He tore the door open and bolted inside.

Tsuki opened his mouth to quickly explain what happened but no sound came out. he looked around and grabbed a pen and paper from behind the desk and began to write furiously. "BATTLE OUT OF HAND! FOREST ON FIRE!"
Tsuki tore the note from the notepad and gave it to the nearest person he could find.
