Towards Viridian City [Training]

Alma was walking down the road towards Viridian City with her Bulbasaur. Suddenly Alma said without any reason at all, "Hey Bulbasaur. You want yourself a boyfriend?" Bulbasaur turned her face towards her trainer and looked Alma with somewhat confused look. "You know, a male Bulbasaur who you could mate with and make other little bulbasaurs," kept Alma explaining. The pokemon started to blush a little when suddenly their conversation was broken by a small rattata who had stepped on the road and probably just didn't notice the travelers. Alma sure noticed the pokemon though and in seconds the purple furred pokemon was between girl's arms who examined it with rather careful look. "Hmm ... Male, teeth and physical condition seem to be fine, maybe a little above avenger." As the girl went on with her examination rattata looked her with confused look like a lot of pokemon did when she started examining them without any real reason.

When Rattata seemed to get enough of young girl poking him, he just opened his mouth and tried to bite Alma in the hand. The trainer was smart enough to pull back her hands before she got damage though, Alma knew that Rattata's bite was pretty dangerous. "Alright Bulbasaur, I am sure you need some training ..." spoke Alma with somewhat angry voice. After all she didn't want her pokemon to lose to every spearow in the wild. "Bulba-bulbasaur." answered the pokemon to her trainer's words and stepped forwards. The purple rattata didn't seem to back down and had decided to stay put for battle. "Start off with vine whip." said Alma. Bulbasaur reacted quickly and shot out two green vines towards the rat.

Rattata dodged them by jumping on one of them and now used it as a bridge to get closer to bulbasaur. Alma had already planned out what to do and was now waiting for the right moment. When rattata was dangerously close she shouted, "Alright, knock it out with tackle." Bulbasaur had to jump a little but that wasn't a real problem, it actually made up for the lost power that had gone missing by not picking up much speed. Her tackle hit the rat and it fell off the vine. Bulbasaur wasn't finished though, it used those same vines and smashed both of them at Rattata's head. Young rat seemed to be pretty tough though and after taking all those hits it stood up, still you didn't have to be a genius to see that the pokemon was hurt. "Nice one rattata, keep it up." said Alma cheering on the rat. Bulbasaur gave a quick look at the girl but then got focused on the battle again. "Alright Bulbasaur, use leech seed." Bulbasaur immidietly aimed it's bulb towards rattata and shot a single seed out of it. Although rattata was injured it still managed to dodge it but just barely, "Use tackle!" commanded Alma. The pokemon did it and ram herself into rattata. The rat was knocked out. Alma hid it inside the grass so it could be safe until it would woke up and then moved on.
