Viridian Forest

It had been pouring rain for almost an hour and yet Evan continued to trudge miserably through Viridian Forest, hoping to make it to Pewter City and find shelter. She was sick and tired of the forest and all the weird bug Pokemon that seemed to think that they could defeat her, even though Evan was pretty sure she could knock one out without even using a Pokemon. Sighing, Evan tugged her bright yellow wind breaker further over her head and half wished that she could just plunk down in the mud and be done with it. Mr. Waggles was sure to kill her if he caught her just laying about again, though with it raining so hard, she doubted that he would purposefully come out of his Pokeball to check. Maybe she could just sit for a bit...

There was a wooden chair which looked perfect for sittin if not for all the wild Pidgeys sittin on it thenselves.

Stopping in her tracks, Evan rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn't seeing things. Yes, there really was a chair in the middle of the forest and Pidgey really were sitting on it despite the heavy downpour. Unable to contain herself any longer, Evan burst out giggling hysterically and ran towards the strange chair almost gleefully.

The Pidgey stayed there and stared at her suspiciously, but none were moving away from her or showing any signs of it

"Oh, it's okay little Pidgey. You don't have to move or anything, just let me sit down next to you..." Evan said, holding her hand out to a couple of the closer Pidgey.

The pidgey simply stared at Evan blankly and didnt move. A Pidgeotto flew overhead but the Pidgey payed it no attention.

"Okay, you dumb birds, listen up! I've been walking around here for days and my Pokemon won't let me take any breaks! You are going to move your little Poke'butts somewhere else or I'm gonna,...I'm gonna,..." Evan wavered, trying to think up a good threat. "Or I'm gonna do something really horrible!" Evan finished quickly.

The birds stared at Evan blankly, as they cant understand human language.

"Ohhh." Evan groaned, noticing that they still hadn't moved from their original spots. "Nevermind. I've got to be getting close to Pewter City by now anyways." Evan said exasperated, and began to move on, still just as wet and tired as she had been before her run-in with the Pidgey.

A tree above even startrd to shake for a bit, theb a Kakuna dropped down from the tree onto Evan's head.

"Ow!" Evan cried before noticing a Kakuna on the ground.
Rubbing her head, she walked over to the Pokemon and bent down to look at it, wondering what caused it to fall in the first place.

Kakuna just laid there,not moving a muscle,since it was a kakuna,it couldnt move.

"Hm." Evan picked the Pokemon up and looked around. "Something must of caused the tree to shake or else you wouldn't of fallen out in the first place..." Evan said to the Kakuna as she tried to scan the area.

It was a pikachu using tackle on the tree,training,level 6

"Huh, that's weird." Evan mumbled. Still holding the fallen Kakuna, she made her way over to the electric mouse Pokemon.
"What are you doing Pikachu? Are lost? Do you have a trainer?" Evan asked gently.

The pikachu then tried to tackle Evan's stomach

"Ah!" Evan yelled and stumbled backwards, trying to make sure Kakuna wasn't hit.
"Mr. Waggles! Come help us!" Evan said and threw a Pokeball into the air. A red light flashed before an angry looking Charmander appeared. Steam started hissing around its tail flame and it looked up at the sky confused. Looking back at Evan, clearly upset, it began to stomp menacingly towards its trainer when it noticed the Pikachu. Spitting a small flame of fire onto the ground, obviously trying to show off, Evan could tell that his mood had changed.
"Alright, Mr. Waggles! Use ember attack!" Without waiting for further instruction, the Charmander opened its mouth and sent out a trail of flaming hot embers at the Pikachu.

Pikachu was hit and used thundershock at charmander

"Quick! Use incinerate as a wall to protect us!" Evan called, realizing that an electric attack in the heavy rain could be disastrous.
Mr. Waggles quickly used his strongest attack, spouting hot flames from his mouth to form a barrier between him and the electricity.
"Mr. Waggles!" Evan cried as her Pokemon was shocked, though she realized that it could of been much worse.
"Use ember on Pikachu again! We have to finish this!" Evan called and Mr. Waggles sent out another ember attack at the Pokemon.

Pikachu dodged and used another thundershock

"Use incinerate again!" Evan yelled, and watched as Mr. Waggles repeated the same motion over again, still getting shocked in the process. Gritting her teeth, Evan decided that they had to finish the battle no matter what.
"Quickly, use incinerate on Pikachu directly!" Evan yelled and Mr. Waggles complied, sending his attack towards the wild Pokemon.

pikachu was hit,and weak,but used another thundershock while it was close

"Mr. Waggles!" Evan yelled as she, Kakuna, and her Charmander were shocked, though Mr. Waggles had got the brunt of the attack. With a shaky hand, Evan reached down to her belt and enlarged a Pokeball.
"Duck, Mr. Waggles!" Evan yelled and he moved out of the way just in time to avoid getting hit with the Pokeball. Instead, it traveled straight towards the Pikachu and Evan silently hoped to Arceus that it would hit would hit its mark.

The pikachu was hit and captured

"Phew." Evan said and slumped down to the muddy ground, all the while still holding Kakuna.
"Are you alright, Mr. Waggles?" Evan asked her Charmander, who had also slumped down the ground, but instead of answering just gave her a cocky Poke'grin and spat another small fire ball to the ground.
"What about you Kakuna?" Evan asked the Pokemon in her arms though it didn't seem to respond either.
"Okay then." Evan said mostly to herself.
Getting up, she walked over to a nearby tree and awkwardly put the Kakuna next to it, thinking that it would just crawl back up into the tree where it had been before Pikachu had knocked it down.
