chapter 1: the trio rise up

"Gymn," Serina yelled to her healing dragon, "please come help." just last night she was out celebrating her journey today. She combed her hair, and made sure her dragons were happy. She was a wizard, and she was going to rise up against evil. She went outside to check for danger in her town of Prushing.

(ooc: Prushing is the oldest city in Amara)

"MEADOW!" she yelled at her exploring dragon who was reading a map. "Exploring is fun, reading maps doesn't let you explore.' She almost knocked down her door, and almost tripped running down the stairs. Metta was trailing singing a war/death song in a high note. "can this day get worse?' she asked herself walking outside into an ambush of bisonbecks.

Blake sat down in a chair outside his cave he could hear some yelling. Pyro laid beside his feet and curled up in a ball. "You'r a sleepy dragon Pyro you know that?" He asked. He often talked to his dragons in away that made it seem like he could understand them. Kyell climbed up and laud across his shoulders. "Kyell, how late did you stay up last night reading that latest Runes book I borrowed from a traveling merchant yesterday?" He asked with a scolding parenting look on his face.

Serina heard the commotion and walked over to find 5 bisonbecks. "Hold on!" she yelled, pulling out a sword. She slashed the first two who ran at her, and formed a glowing orb in her hand. "as a girl you may not fight," she said, "but to defend you must."

He looked at Pyro then to Kyell. "It's a nice day lets go check to fishing nets down at the medow." He said. Pyro jumped right up and spun around while Kyell stayed on my neck laying down still asleep. It didnt take him long to get there it only took about 5 minutes. He noticed the bisonbecks and crouched down. He shook Kyell of his shoulder. "What are those things." He asked. She etched out the name into the dirt. Blake took his chain dagger which he kept around his waist. It was very sharp with golden wings so it flew in the direction he wanted it to. He stoped as he noticed Serina. He had seen her once before he was in a tree waiting for a carvan to come up the road,but the only thing that came that night was her.

She used her orbs to blast the last 2, and then called gymn over. Gymn was healing Serina, while Grace, her singing dragon, sang war songs. She told them to stay through mindspeak, got up and checked the rest of the town.

(you can mindspeak with dragons, if your bonded)

Blake stood completely still and glared at you threw silted eyes. He looked at Pyro. Hide over there and once i give the signal light the place up. Pyro ran into a clump of brambles. He then turned to Kyell. hide in the river so you don't get burned. He started to sneak around so he stood behind Serina but at a distance.
(If it isn't obvious I haven't read the books I'm just going off from a diff web site XD)

she flicked a wrist, creating a light orb. "I can feel your presence," she said, 'I have the mind speaking ability" She turned and pointed her sword at him, 'friend or foe?"

He got up and flashed a devilish smile. "Both." He said in a silky tone. Now Pyro bursted out of the bush and sprinted around us creating a circle of fire. "We can do this one of two ways easy or hard." He said as he wrapped the chain around one hand and held the dagger behind his back. There was a loud splash as Kyell jumped into the river.

"hard" she said smiling. She pulled her wrist, in turn pulling the metal dagger away from the boy. Come here she said to her dragons. She shot at the flying dragon using her light orbs. "foe, defiantly foe," she said.

Blake your not strong enough to rob her and shes a wizard. Wast her energy Blake dropped into a crouch his eyes blazed with anger. "Give me back my dagger you witch." He said as he waited for her next attack. Pyro go I wont need you. The black scaled dragon ran and waited by the river. Don't get your self hurt boy.

"no," Serina said, "you become friend first." Gymn flew over followed by Grace. 'I am but a dragon keeper." She threw him the dagger, and walked off towards the road.

He growled. "Fine,but if we are gonna...wait your a dragon keeper?" He asked. Pyro Kyell come on. Kyell did you know she was a dragon keeper? Kyell and pyro came up to his side. Kyell closed his eyes seeing if he knew anything. No Blake I didnt

"yes, I am" she said over her shoulder. "do not dare attack," she said, "I will trap you.' She flicked her wrist and a ball appeared.

"Then you might want to check your pockets."  He held up a small coin purse.  "By the way can i have my dagger back I kind of  need that." He said as he opened the coin purse. She's not very rich you know you two

"give it back!' she yelled, forming light balls. She threw the light balls at him, and they trapped him in place. 'You will not steal from a wizard," she said, "gymn, come on" and she left for the next town.

"I'll give it back if you give me my dagger and if were gonna travel I'm going to need to grabb my gear." He said holding out the bag. He hadn't takein anything out of it but, was tempted to keep all of it's contains. "Well, dragon keeper have a deal?"
