Blood boils as stakes rise.

Rin quickly exited her house, news of the challenge had spread fast, even for an "insane" person. She knew better than to think she was mentally unstable though, the others just didn't get that she was Special, and now she was going to show the world the same thing by winning the competition, no matter what. she began walking towards the edge of town, the first route on her trip was already in site. Her long black dress elegantly swayed, occasionally tapping against her leg as she stepped, over and over again, the exit didn't seem to come quick enough. As she walked she felt the occasional stare, following her as she moved. A slight, unusual sense of unconsciousness filled her, she quickly made sure her black hair had been combed over her oddly colored eye, yet the stares continued.

Sake walked along the first route, looking around rather than paying attention to where she was going. Her golden amber eyes darted everywhere except the road in front of her where she was walking. It wasn't long before her ignorance costed her and she walked smack into another girl. She was knocked down and her backpack fell from her back, spilling some of her supplies. "Oof. Sorry." Sake said, quickly attempting to gather everything back into her backpack. She stood, putting her backpack back over her shoulder and started walking again.

"Its quite all right." Rin rose from the slightly slouched position she had taken to protect herself from being knocked down. She quickly wiped whatever dirt or dust she could see contaminating her darker than black dress before looking up at the already continuing girl. Rin started after her, in a pace that was much faster than before. "Is that all you have to s-" Rin quickly reached her arm out turning the other girl towards her. She retreated the arm yet again, this time placing it on her lip, letting the fingers slowly run down her face until they were just barely resting under her jaw. "My, your life fluids look amazing." her voice was like that of a happy school girl as she looked the other girl up and down with almost a hungry look in her eyes. "You can call me Amagi." Rin quickly jumped into introductions, ignoring whatever expressions the other girl may have had.

"Uhhhh.." Sake was rather confused. Stopped randomly by a stranger in a foreign country. Great. "Thank you, I guess. You can call me Sake. Nice to, uh, meet you?" She crossed her arms a little, looking very confused and somewhat frightened. This girl was odd. So far, at least. Her little chain of Pokeballs on her side jingled a little.

Suddenly to rather anger Lillipup jumped the two. One attempted to Tackle Sake's head, the other began to lick Rin's leg.

"Eh!" Rin contained a small shriek inside her mouth as she felt a rushing tingle shoot up her leg before disappearing again. She quickly backed away from the Pokemon, a look of dissatisfaction crossing her face. She quickly bent over, reaching for where the void looking dress ended, she began to slowly raise it, he snow like legs being shown, farther, farther. She reached just above her knee when a black ribbon of sorts began to show. She quickly unhooked a capsule like object from it. The sound of a button clicking was instantly replaced by a sharp, almost zapping sound. In front of Ren, stood a small candle with a large smile of sorts crossing its cute, curled lips. "Sumiko, Ember!" Rin instantly gave the order, and with a small excited cheer from Litwick, small flaming ashes soon made their way towards the Lillipup and all of his luxurious fur.

Sake quickly moved out of the way of the Tackle. "What the hell? Feisty Pokemon." She said, somewhat angrily. She took a Pokeball off of the chain and threw it down, summoning Spheal with a flash of light. "Spheal, Water Gun!" The spherical seal with a small smile nodded and opened its mouth widely, blasting cold water at the face of the Lillipup that attempted to Tackle Sake.

The Lillipup dealing with Sake seemed to start drinking the water that was being shot at it, despite taking damage.

The Lillipup dealing with Rin jumped away from the Ember and landing near Sake, whom it proceeded to try and lick affectionately.

"Hmpf!" Rin almost stomped her foot in anger, but settled for just spinning in place to face the Lillipup again. "Fire spin!" Litwick seemed to send out a small ember attack, but instead the flames seemed to plant them self in the ground around the Lillipup. Soon what seemed to be a wall of fire, with the occasional opening in it, began to encircle the Lillipup, flames spurting up, getting more fierce as the circle began to close. rin stared at the fire with satisfaction, her red eyes copying the shade of the flames.

"Again, full power!" Sake commanded to Poseidon III. She was somewhat wary of the flames and the girl next to her, but she pushed that away and watched as her Pokemon puffed up and fired a somewhat more forceful blast of water at the Lillipup's face, hoping to cause some more damage.

The Lillipup(Rin), seemed to have no idea how to get out. It was scared and confused by what was going on.

Meanwhile, the other Lillipup(Sake), noticed this and ran into the flames, tackling the other one out and into safety, while it took all the damage. It seemed ready to faint.

This time Rin did stomp her foot into the dirt, small brown particles shooting up from where her shoe had just impaled. "Shadow ball!" Rins voice was almost furious as she shouted the command. Litiwick began building up a purple, almost black colored sphere in front of him before firing the fast moving projectile towards Lillipup.

Sake quickly got an empty Pokeball and whipped it at the Lillipup that knew Lick. With a flash of light, the puppy was sucked into the apparatus. What had gotten into her? She held her breath as she waited for the Pokeball's verdict. Apparently she was attempting to save the Pokemon for whatever reason.

Once the ball hit the ground, a red light flashed repeatedly on the button of the Pokeball, and it quivered for a long while, as if the Lillipup inside were trying to fight its way free. Just as it seemed the Pokeball seemed it would never stop, the Pokeball confirmed the capture with a small click sound. Lillipup has been caught!

The Lillipup that was trapped within the fire was unable to see anything past the flames. It was panicking and turning every which direction. Suddenly, the Shadow Ball caught the poor Lillipup from behind, and knocked it through the flames of the Fire Spin. It was out of the surrounding flames now, but the Lillipup is now being hurt by burn. It is too focused on panicking more to take any action this round.

Rin had completely ignored the other girl and the thought of catching something with such a weak soul. She held out her hand, pointing an almost crooked finger towards the Lillipup. "Dont give it a chance, Astonish!" Unlike his owner Litwick didn't look to happy about hurting the weakened enemy, but charged at the Lillipup none the less. As he ran his body got a purplish tint to it as he charged forward.

"Shiloh. Your name shall be Shiloh." Sake said, smiling warmly at the newly occupied Pokeball as she picked it up and held it in her hands like a new baby or something. She quickly remembered that there was another Lillipup and watched to see what was to become of it. Sake let Shiloh out of his Pokeball and held him in her arms as she watched, with Poseidon III at her side.

The remaining Lillipup that was being slowly burned was too occupied by its situation of being burned, and didn't notice the coming Litwick. It was truly astonished when the Litwick hit it right on the mark. It was a critical hit. The Lillipup was thus defeated.

Litwick gains 7 EXP points.

Litwick happily jumped up and down squealing in glee, looking to Rin for approval. Rin gave him a quick smile to Sumiko before recalling him into the ball, strapping it back to the black ribbon on her leg. She raised her head to the sky, the moon, white as can be was already beginning to rise, yet the sun was also yet to set. Her goal, like any adventurers should have been, was to make it to moonlight before nightfall when the annoying bugs came out. However that's not to say she dislikes the dark. "Hurry up." she playfully said the Sake before taking off down the path, walking as fast as a dress would allow her to.

"U-uh sure." Sake set Shiloh down(not before he licked her, of course) and brought him and Poseidon into their Pokeballs. She quickly attached the two Pokeballs back onto her little Pokeball chain before tightening the grip she had on her backpack and scampered ahead to catch up to Rin. "So, uh, nice battling out there."

"Thank you." Rin didn't break her pace as they conversed, but a smile did crack itself onto her lips. "I expected nothing less of somebody with your strong life fluids." The tip of Rin's tongue crossed the threshold of her lips, making its way across as to wet them. Rin looked around, the trees started to dense, soon to obscure her view, but not before she saw the site of a building peeking up just over them. They were definitely close to Moonlight now. "Why are you going to Moonlight?" Rin still held her usual happy tone, but there was something else buried underneath of the happy tone, maybe wistfulness?

"Ahem." Sake coughed awkwardly. Well, this girl was indeed quite the character to be around. ..in the best way possible. "Well, I, uh, came to Minoru to learn how to control my powers, so I decided the best course of action was to go through the Minoru League. So to Moonlight City first, because that's where the first Gym is, y'know?" She said.

A Sentret (Lv. 7 male) suddenly appears. It was raised high into the air, using its own tail to keep itself up in the normal watchful position that all Sentret had.

Rin let out a slight sigh at the site of the Pokemon. "Another weak being getting in the way, so close to Moonlight also." She quickly got her Pokeball from the strap above her knee and threw out Litwick "Sumiko, lets make it fast so we can get to Moonlight." Rin sounded annoyed by the fact that she had to battle, but winning a fight actually filled her with joy, but not quite like how it did for other people, this was a much more sadistic joy. "Shadow Ball!" She commanded of the small Pokemon. Sumiko quickly turned towards the larger Pokemon, building up a sphere of darkness in front of him before firing it at target like fur on the Sentrets stomach.

The sentret was sent flying backward by the shadow ball. Against all odds, it was apparently holding a Ring Target. It picked itself back up and full speed charged toward the offending Litwick.

"Quickly, before he can reach you, fire out an Ember." Litwick followed his friends commands, the small fire on his head quickly sending off small flares that drifted there way towards the wild Sentret. Rin looked away from the battle field and up to the moon. A slight ecstasy filled shiver ran down her spine at the site of such a large moon slowly rising, the sun was just beginning to set yet, so they had time.
