Gym battle, sorta. (Reta and El Kabong)

Koneko stood in front of the gym, snow causing his metal armor to turn cold as ice, but he didn't feel anything. With his left hand wrapped around the hilt of his sword, which was stabbed into the earth, however no slit or crack was present it seemed as though his sword merely ended where it began to touch the ground. His lifted his right arm rasping his knuckles against the door, the sound of metal against the door was strangely familiar to him, the woeful memory of life seeping back to him. He lowered his hand resting it ontop of the other awaiting an answer.

The door slid open and a slightly dark sounding voice came from within. "You may enter." It said stiffly. If Kaneko went any further, the person who the voice came from could be seen. It was a young man, black hair and bags so far around his eyes you'd think he hadn't slept in years. He was building a large tower out of dice telekinetically. He looked toward the door. "Let me guess. You're here because you'd like to battle me? Is that it?" He asked. This was Koil. The Snowpoint Gym Leader.

Koneko walked into the building, each step as quite as he. "You are powerful, it would be an honor to battle you." He stared at the big, red eyes watching from under the semi transparent helmet, voice as cold as a grave. Koneko had put his sword into the sheath on his waist the smallest of hisses coming from the metal on metal collision.

Koil stopped stacking dice and stood from his throne of sorts, sighing. "Well, yes, it would be an honor for you. Are you competing for the Snowpoint badge, or would you like my badge?" He looked at his two sets of Pokeballs, one containing 4, the other containing 6. He was ready for a battle, but he didn't know if this person would be worth it.

"I do not know of these badges you speak of but I am requesting a one on one battle of strength." Kaneko didn't let his lack of knowledge stop him from a good battle. He wrapped his hand around the rough hilt of his sword, looking like he wanted to whip the blade out and start chopping everything in his path to bits, but it was simply a natural pose for him.

"Is that so?" Koil said dryly. He picked out a Pokeball from the lineup of 6. He let the Pokemon out with a flash of light. It was Alpha Omega the Metagross, from his personal lineup. "This is Alpha Omega. He will be your foe today. Who shall you use?" He asked, hand leaning a on Alpha Omega ever so slightly.

Suddenly a faint image began to appear on Kaneko's side of the battle field. Soon enough a Bisharp had appeared, standing tall and ready for battle. The Bisharp looked at his opponent, hand on his hip. "Night slash." Kaneko commanded his ally. Without warning the battle had begun, Bisharp threw himself at the bigger Pokemon, pitch black blades reaching out to swipe at the creature.

Backing up silently, Koil began to give commands to the large Metagross. "Magnet Rise to Dodge." Alpha Omega heeded the command and floated upwards, over Bisharp's head, using an electromagnetic pulse or something more scientific. "Confusion." Focusing intently, Alpha Omega's concentration focused on Bisharp's mind and it attempted to screw with Bisharp's equilibrium and general sense of being.

Bisharp completely ignored the confusion, the attack having absolutely no effect on him. "Perfect, Night slash again." Kaneko ordered. Bisharp, who was now under the Metagross allowed his blades to turn dark again, this time jumping straight up with a razor like edge pointed up.

Alpha Omega was hit with the attack and, despite it's enormous weight, went flying a few feet. It regained footing, however, before landing as it deployed it's feet to save time when it landed. Koil tossed out the next command without a second thought. "Hyper Beam." He instructed. Without a moment's warning, Alpha Omega charged up a large amount of energy in the middle of his X. Then it was released as a heavy beam, speeding toward Bisharp.
