Pokemon Journey - Episode II: The Jubilife Contest and Team Building!

(Uhh...not really...Kitty just sorta had Dragonair take Lilly straight to the contest without going back to the route to obtain more pokemon. xD;)

Lilly was startled by the spoink, but she begin to think that maybe it could help her. But before she could ask it, the spoink starts attacking her as it tries to beat her up with its small hands. Lilly braces herself, but when the spoink starts to hit her face, she begins to giggles, which soon turns into soft laughs.

"H-hey! Cut it out! Hahahaha! Th-that tickles!" Lilly cried through her laughs.

"Spoiiiiiink?" The Spoink stopped, wondering why the trainer was laughing.

Once the spoink stopped attacking, Lilly calms down her laughter before turning to the spoink. She felt bad about startling the spoink, so she cautiously and slowly kneels down to it with an apologetic look on her face.

"I'm really sorry that I startled you. But maybe you can help me. You see, I'm trying to find some food like berries, fruits, those kinds." Lilly said.

"Spoi!" It held up an Oran Berry, wondering if this trainer was talking about these berries.

Lilly smiles as the spoink holds up the Oran berry. She gladly takes it and she puts it away before turning back to the spoink.

"Can you show me where more berries are and possibly some fruits too?" Lilly asked.

Spoink waved a chubby hand towards a direction where the undergrowth was really thick. Looked promising. Although it looked at the sun and suddenly hurried off. Appeared as though Pokemon used the sun for keeping the time. The trainer was left alone.

Lilly watches the spoink leave as she looks at sun. She didn't realize that it was starting to get dark and she needed to get back to the cave. So with one berry, she turns around and heads straight back to the cave where FireStar was up after her nap. Lilly smiles as she gives FireStar the Oran Berry. FireStar happily takes it and she begins to eat it. Lilly decides to take out one of her roasted peanuts and a water bottle that she carries in her bag. Then she starts to eat her peanuts and drink her water bottle.

Dragonair nodded and with a few gestures, offered to go search for berries by the light of her orb.

Lilly gives Dragonair a nod as she continues to drink her water bottle and her bag of roasted peanuts.

She grabbed a leaf bag that she had apparently made in the time Lilly wasn't there and took off.

...

She soon returned, the bag bristling with berries. A berry nearly rolled off but it was quickly caught by the tail. She set it down carefully and intensified the glow of her orb, casting dark shadows on the walls of the cave.

Lilly turns around and she smiles to see Dragonair back with some berries. FireStar picks out a few of her favorites and she begins to eat while Lilly also picks up a few as she also begins to eat. Afterwards, FireStar settles on a blanket that Lilly has set out while she sets out her sleeping bag that she packed. Lilly climbs into her sleeping bag as she let's her hair down and she places her ribbon in her bag along with her shoes.

"Night, FireStar. Night, Dragonair." Lilly said as she closes her eyes and she drifts to sleep.

Dragonair gave out a soft sound before curling up, the light ebbing from the orb until there was complete darkness around. Soon, soft breathing could be heard from where Dragonair lay curled up, signifying she was asleep.
