Pokemon Journey - Episode II: The Jubilife Contest and Team Building!

Syrus quickly took off with a nose dive from Yanma's current great height and spun. His wings then spread out and used Silver Wind, creating spiralling shiny dust behind him, caught in the sun rays and glistening. He then pulled up to about a 45 degree angle directly on course to hit FireStar with Tackle.

Jack hoped Lilly would do what he had done: Jump on Yanmas back and use a fire attack before Yanma could try to shake FireStar off.

FireStar jumps up, avoiding the silver wing, and then she lands on yanma's back. Then she uses a mix of leer and fire punch. FireStar then jumps to the front and uses scratch at Yanma's face.

Cyrus looses points but keeps calm. Lilly lost a few points because of the graceful nose dive with Silver Wind Yanma performed, but was in the lead. Yanma is trained to deal with this. Naturally a Pokemon would messily shake the other off and fail, causing loss of points. But Yanma was trained, and he did graceful loops to fill the urge to shake FireStar off, even though it would almost deffinetely not work. Yanma used his attack: Ancient Power. Glowing rocks exploded out of his body, hopefuly catching FireStar and knocking her off his back.

Jack kept hopig he had secret telepathic powers and tried to instruct Lilly by mind. He told her to destroy the rocks with Fire Punch.

FireStar did get knocked off, but she uses the rocks to jump from one to the other and then when she got in close, she did a combo of fire punch and scratch, a Fire Scratch. How the fire scratch work is FireStar flares her two hands with the fire and then it goes into her sharp nails, making it flare with gorgeous flames.

Yanma used Sonicboom on the rock FireStar was on so that she would hopefuly fall before she could attack Yanma.

Jack hoped she would use the impact to jump on Yanma again

FireStar jumps to the next rock and then she jumps off of that and right at Yanma with her Fire Scratch combo. Shelands on Yanma again and uses her fire scratch combo.

Yanma takes a spiralling nose dive and then instantly sotps after about a meter still st a height. He then instantly flies backwards. Yanma hoped to knock FireStar off by doing this, as they were loosing points with her on his back.

Jack was out of tips and watched. Cubone was doing a kind of cherleadig act

FireStar hung onto Yanma's back. Then she gets to Yanma's head before jumping to the front of his face and begins to use the Fire Leer combo, a combo of Fire Punch and Leer, at his face.

Yanma takes a severe nose dive. His body produces glitter with Silver Wind (not doing damage like last time) in a last attempt to gain points before crashing into the ground creating a huge explosion of shimmering glitter. Yanma miraculoulsy just stayed conscious but Syrus lost a considerable amount of damage. Yanma began to fly away at a great speed and extremely quickly turned and flew at FireStar. He was using U-Turn.

Jack hoped that fireStar would just counter with Fire Punh.

FireStar jumps away and uses fire punch to counter. Then she jumps onto Yanma's back once more and uses the scratch leer combo, a mix of leer to lower Yanma's defense and scratch to hit. When FireStar got close, she first uses leer in Yanma's eyes and then uses scratch his head.

Yanma suddenly explodes into white light. When he reappears he is a Yanmega! He had levelled up in battle and knew Ancientpower. The new speedier Yanmega flew at a great speed in giant loops in the sky. If FireStar fell she would loose quite some damage, but would not faint if she knew what she was doing. Yanmega burst Ancientpower out of his body, but this time they came from ever part of his body.

"Now I want a Yanmega" Jack sighed

FireStar jumped to different parts of Yanmega's body. Then she did the fire leer combo, first she goes to Yanmega's face and uses Leer first, then she uses fire punch on his head again.

Yanmega was having none of it. He was just about to explode into a frenzy of attacks, when time ran out. Yanmega flew to the ground and dropped FireStar off before returning. Lilly won, and was now in the semi finals.

The next day at the semi-finals, it was decided that Lilly would face a young, creepy girl called Alice. She took the stage and unleashed a Beautifly.

Wierdly, a Dratini was sittig next to Jack.

Again, Lilly stands on the other side of the field. Then, she sends out FireStar, with the pokeball in the capsule with the fire and star stickers on it.

"FireStar, time to shine!" Lilly called out as she tosses the pokeball up.

Once again, Gorgeous flaming stars comes out and then FireStar bursts out. Then she lands on her feet with the stars around her, not completely covering her. Then the stars fades.

As soon as the match began Alice quickly battled. Her Beautifly put her wings behind her back going extremely fast and used Bug Buzz, making a high pitched sound that actually sounded beautiful, reducing Lilly's points.

Jack started berfriendig the Dratini.

FireStar shook her head and she recovered from the bug buzz. Then, FireStar runs at Beautifly and jumps up at her. Next, she uses the fire leer combo. First, FireStar uses leer at Beautifly and then she uses fire punch when she got close to her, making is a gorgeous light like flame.

Beautifly simply blows a powerful Silver Wind, attempting to blow Chimchar back and put out the flame. This made Lilly's points go down a bit more due to the quick thinking and calmness of Emily. Lilly's were half empty and Emily's quarter empty.
