Here they were, Vermilion City. "We're so close to getting to Unova," Jamel said excitedly, and turned to look at Megan. "Can you hardly believe it," he asked, and gestured toward the pokecenter. "Let's go heal our pokemon before we head out, shall we?" He walked over to Megan and grabbed her hand. He was glad to finally be going to Unova to find whom he was looking for, and he was glad that Megan was with him. It made traveling much more fun to have someone with you.

"I'm really excited!" Megan said, allowing Jamel to lead her to the Pokemon Center. Once there, a friendly nurse took their Pokemon and healed them to full health before handing them back to their rightful owners.

"Cleffa!" Cleffa exclaimed happily as she was returned to Megan, who gave her a tight hug.

"We'd better go and buy boat tickets," she said, "Although I'm not really sure where to go to do that..." she trailed off, looking at Jamel to see if he had any idea.

"Hm, I don't know either," he said, looking down slightly. He crossed his arms and tilted slightly as if in thought. "Maybe we should ask someone," he suggested, wondering if Megan thought that that was a good idea or not.

"That's a great idea," Megan said. "Maybe we should go to the docks, someone there is bound to know!" Without waiting for a reply from Jamel, she grabbed his hand, and started pulling him in the direction of the docks.

He didn't show much resistance upon being pulled. In fact, he liked Megan taking the lead sometimes, as that meant he didn't always have to be the leader. Leading was a tough job, and sometimes he would make a bad decision.

Once at the docks, Jamel asked aroudn, seeing if anyone would know where to purchase a boat ticket.

An elderly looking sailor stood nearby, he seemed competent looking enough to answer their question.

Jamel approached the sailor. "Good evening. Would you happen to know where one can purchase a couple of boat tickets to the Unova region?" Jamel tried his hardest to not reveal many details on why he wanted the tickets.

The sailor turned, and studied Jamel as well as Megan, who stood beside him, curiously. "I can do you one better!" he replied. "I was just about to take my new boat out for a test run, and going to Unova may be just what it needs to see what this baby can do!" he seemed friendly, jolly even. Although the boat he seemed to signal as his looked a bit small, the ride was free. And free is always good...

Jamel looked at Megan. "What do you think," he asked, pondering the situation in his thoughts. The man may be offering a free ride, but who was to say he wouldn't abandon them in the middle of the ocean, or want to steal soemthing from them when they weren't looking. But the ride was free, and they may have needed that... So he waited for her response.

"Well," Megan said. "I honestly don't have enough money for the ship fare." she laughed this off, and hugged her Cleffa, obviously in a cheery mode. "I say we take the free ride. If he tries anything, we can take him."
