The first ribbon snowpoint city (Markj1998 and Yamask)

Ian walked outside the house with loppuny beside him, it was finally the day the day he could enter the snowpoint city contest. He looked at loppung and asked: ''are you ready loppuny''? Lop loppuny she said happily. It would be their first contest they had practiced for months but now they knew they were ready for it. They went to the contest hall and walked inside. Ian felt a little nervous because he came by some coördinators he had seen on tv ,but he calmed himself down and went to the counter where the registrtation lady was. Can I help you she asked? ''Yeah'' ian said ''uhm loppuny and me want to join the contest.'' ''ah sure she said just fill in this piece of paper and you can proceed''. He filled it in and after he gave it to her she asked: '' is this you first time?'' ''yes it is'' Ian said. ''well wait a little longer then'' she said i need to prepare a coördinator pass.'' ''its a new thing you dont have to fill in the paper then you just let them scan this and you can proceed.'' ''ah ok thanks'' Ian said after a while she made a picture of him and he got a pass where all his information was on. Then he went to the dressing room, got in his special outfit and waited nervously on the bench for the contest to begin.

The MC made her way onto the stage in the contest hall calling out through her headset to the audience "Welcome to the Snowpoint City pokemon contest we have some great coordinators and hope to make this contest great to, so let's get this contest started" she then called out each of the next 14 coordinators to the stage one by one each wowing the audience. Finally came Ian's turn for his performance, Ian being second from last to perform so, she called out "Next to the stage is a new coordinator so, let's make him feel welcome, it is Ian!", moving into position besides the judges desk and awaiting Ian to take to the stage.

Ian walked into the arena getting more and more nervous with every second he was there . Come on out loppuny he said while throwing the pokeball and loppuny appeared ok loppuny use attract ian yelled as she loppuny shot a lot of hearts above her head now use focus blast ian said a ball of power formed between loppuny's paws and she shot them at the hearts. it hit the hearts and they all popped leaving a rain of sparkles behind. It rained over loppuny and ian as they bowed together towards the judges and waited for their comments

Mr Contesta was the first to comment "That was a great way of combining the two moves and it worked well, well done" Mr Sukizo was the second to comment "Remarkable" which wasn't too surprising that being his catchphrase and all. Nurse Joy was the final person to comment "That was beautiful and you've clearly raised your Lopunny well" the MC: Marian, then awaited Ian to leave the stage calling out for the next contestant to finish the appeals round.

Ian left the stage and loppuny followed him back to the dressing room. well i think that went pretty well don't you think so. Lop loppuny she said souding nervous and happy. I hope we can get through to the next round he said while he went to the bench hoping to win. ian talked with some other coordinators waiting fot the result to show

After about 20 minutes Marian returned to the stage calling out "The results are in and the contestant progressing to the next round are on the screen now", the contestants that are through's pictures appearing on the screen, it showing 8 contestants:
Thomas,
Chantel,
Carlos,
Lola,
Ian,
Michael,
Samantha
and
Quinn.
Marian then said "To those contestants that aren't through we hope to see you again next time" she then returned her gaze to the screen calling "So, let's find out who's going to be facing who in the battle round" the contestants were then shuffled, revealing that the match ups were:
Thomas vs Quinn
Ian vs Samantha
Lola vs Carlos
Michael vs Chantel.
After this the battle round begun, Thomas facing Quinn pitting his Rhydon against her Slowking, after the five minutes had finished Quinn was the winner, Marian then said "Next to face off is Ian vs Samantha" Samantha taking to the stage from one side laughing and launching her pokeball high into the air calling out "Take to the skies Swellow" the pokemon from Hoenn bursting from the pokeball in an explosion of stars, emerging from them and circling the stage flying just over the audience's head, in then returned to it's position and hovered there, waiting for it's opponent.

Ian walked onto the stage and said come on out loppuny he threw the pokeball and loppuny appeared with all sorts of little hearts around her. ok lets get going loppuny start with attract ian yelled as she threw hearts in the direction of the foe's swellow

Samantha smiled knowing this was her chance, the clock having started, she quickly reacted calling across to her Swellow "Swellow Take Charge With Aerial Ace" Swellow gliding through the arena before spinning and using Aerial Ace puncturing each of the hearts, which exploded into sparkles making Swellow look beautiful and dropping Ian's points by one-eighth. Swellow then continued charging at Lopunny attempting to deal some major damage still spinning to boost both it's speed, power and style.

Loppuny wait until he is close and then use what we practice. loppuny waited for swellow to come close then she jumped justt in time and jumped on the swellow to perform and act. Now use focusblast ian yelles as.loppuny formed a ball betweeb her paws hoping it would hit

Samantha reacted calling across "Now Double Team, Swellow" Swellow duplicating himself to make 10 copies, this causing Lopunny's Focus Blast to go straight through the duplicate she was on, the Swellow's then began performing acrobatics in the air, this causing Ian's points to drop to half with only two and a half minutes left on the clock.

Ian started to panic. oh no i am losing i can't lose my first match i just cant he thought but then he got an idea loppuny jump of the swellow and start spinning in circles. She jumped of swallow and began to spin. now use attract ian said and at once pink harts flew everywhere this has to work ian thought otherwise i. will be finished

Samantha smiled again the Swellow's all circling the Hearts gathering them up into a heart tornado before bursting them with peck attacks causing an eruption of sparkles to cover the arena, Ian's points dropped once more being down to one quarter left and one minute to go.

(Don't worry i'm gonna let you get through I just wanna make it a dramatic win lol)

What do i do ian thought i can think of anything else wait i have it now loppuny act dramatic ian yelled as he saw loppuny fall down with tears in her eyes it was so cute and said at once he hoped swellow would fall for it and if the swellow. did he wouls hit it with a suprise focus blast that was forming betweeb her paws

Swellow did fall for it, to Samantha's despair, being struck back by the Focus Blast and landing on the floor, unable to get up from the attack but not down yet, Samantha's points dropping to half with 30 seconds left on the clock.

quick loppuny now use quick attack while dancing ian said and loppuny started dancing beatifull trying to hit the swellow while using quick attack. if this works ian thought then i will win and go on to the next round

Swellow was unable to move being struck by the elegant move and sent flying across the floor, Samantha's points dropping to just below a quarter as, the timer buzzed, indicating that the time was up, Samantha smiled returning Swellow to his pokeball and saying "Nice work Swellow" she then approached Ian and said "Nice moves" holding out her hand to shake his.

Thanks ian said while shaking her hand. you were pretty amazing yourself ian said and ledft the stage with a relieved feeling now only two more battles to go and if he would win those hr would win the contest and win his first ribbon now he jusr had to wait and see who he would be battling against next

After a while had passed the other battles had finished and the semi-finals were about to begin, the monitor showing their next opponents which were:
Ian vs Michael
Lola vs Quinn

The other contestants all confident they were going to win, Michael making his way to the stage he then launched out his pokeball a Rampardos (Male - lvl 30) appearing surrounded by flames before roaring putting the flames out, showing off his power, Michael being a guy of few words. They then waited for Ian to come out, Michael smirking confident of his win.

ian walked shyly to the stage not knowing if he would win this. ian looked at the rampardos and got immediately scared, but loppuny who was besides him gave him courage so he walked on towards the stage and said u-uhm ok lets go loppuny as loppuny walked on to the stage

Rampardos huffed, brushing his foot along the floor before charging Lopunny as the timer started, Michael smiling he knew that Rampardos had the urge for this battle to be a great one. Rampardos then began to use Take Down attempting to hopefully deal some major damage to Lopunny.

Loppuny jump over him ian yelled as loppuny jumped gracefully over him and landed behind him now use your attract ian said as she fired a rain of pink hearts towards the enemy

Michael clicked his fingers, Rampardos immediately unleashing a Thunderbolt (TM) onto the hearts causing them all to explode into fireworks. This thereby lowering Ian's score to three quarters, the timer being at 4 minutes left. The Thunderbolt then stayed on course for Lopunny to do some extra damage.

lopunny dodge it ian said. lopuny quickly stepped out of harms way ok what move shall i use now ian thought while looking at loppuny ah i got it. ok loppuny use quick attack to get close to him and dodge his attacks and then you use jump kick

Michael overheard and moved his hand in a circular motion, Rampardos spinning to dodge it before using Iron Tail (Egg Move) swinging his glowing tail at Lopunny aiming to deal some major damage.

loppuny fell down but didnt had time to react, the iron tail hit her in the stomach and sended her flying. no loppuny ian yelled can you get up. she looked at him and and nodded ok then loppuny use quick attack to get behind him and then use focus blast to take him out ian said. loppuny started running and in the blink of an eye she was behind the rampardos and shot a focus blast at him
