Pokemon Adventures - Episode II: A Time for healing, stocking, catching, and training!

Kana sat Aipom's Pokeball on the counter as she explained to Nurse Joy on what happened. She explained that they were searching for more pokemon when they met Aipom and he was just having some fun with her pokemon. But DarkFlare didnt take it too lightly and he got annoyed. Then he tried to attack Aipom until DarkFlare used Smog on Aipom to poison him. Then Kana told Nurse Joy that she used a pokeball to capture Aipom in order to save him from DarkFlare. But that made him mad and he was about to attack her until GatorClaw used Hydro Pump on him and she had returned DarkFlare back to his pokeball.

"But Aipom is still poisoned by the smog. He needs help." Kana said with a worry look.

The nurse only nodded, taking the pokeball set on the counter. 'We'll heal your pokemon right away,' she said, adding a smile before she set it into the machine. 'It may take a bit to heal. But he'll be fine in the end of the process. Have you heard of the tournament,' she asked, a bit of enthusiasm in her voice since it wasn't boring.

(While I think of a plot to set you on, have a tournsment xp)

Kana looked at Nurse Joy and she shook her head. But she was interested in hearing what this tournament was about. Kana's other pokemon gathered around Kana to hear about the tournament.

"What is the tournament about?" Kana asked.

(oooh. what kind of tournament?)

'Well, there isn't anything much,' the nurse said to the trainer. 'Its just a battle competition. Apparently its hosted by the ones trainers call the 'Elite 4.' It's being held in a few days from now if you'd like a flier.'

Kana smiles as her other pokemon smile as well. It would be a good way to get some training in for her pokemon, especially MonsterClaw. MonsterClaw needed some catching up to do if he wants to be as strong as GatorClaw.

"I would love one. It sounds interesting." Kana said.

The Nurse pulled a flier from a stack she had behind the table. She slid it over the table to the trainer's eyes, the first thing seeable being 'LIVE POKEMON BATTLE COMPETITION'.

Kana looked over the flier and she was very interested in this tournament. It was gonna be a few days away and it was gonna be held live. MonsterClaw climbed up on the counter and he took a look at the flier on the tournament.

The tournament specified the trainers who signed up had a few restrictions. Only two pokemon were usable, and the level cap for each was twenty. A grand prize of 2,500 dollars was availablr, but no caught legendaries. No healing except between battles.

Kana smiled at the grand prize. As for her two pokemon choice, she knew which two she would pick. MonsterClaw wanted to be one and then GatorClaw climbs up to join his brother. This made Kana decide on which two she would use.

"I think I'll give it a shot and enter. It be a good chance for MonsterClaw to get stronger. With GatorClaw's help, of course." Kana said.

'Well, the information to sign-up is on the back,' the nurse told her. 'Your pokemon is done healing, she stated, taking the ball out of the mchine and setting it on the counter. 'Have a nice dsy,' she sid to the trainer.

"Thanks, Nurse Joy." Kana said.

Kana took Aipom's pokeball and she let him out. Aipom looked around with a confused look on his face. He was trying to find the houndour when he looked up to see the houndour's trainer and her pokemon. FlowerChic explained that Kana saved him from DarkFlare and she also explained that DarkFlare was just wanting Aipom torn apart. Aipom gave an apologized look on his face, but he smiled and he said he wont do it again. With that done, Kana and her pokemon went to the back where the sign up was set up. Then Kana signed up for the tournament and she also enters the two pokemon that she will be entering with. After that, it was about a little bit in the afternoon and the perfect time to take a break for lunch. Kana let DarkFlare out and she told him that he can be out for lunch if he promises to behave and also apologize to Aipom. DarkFlare snorts, but he apologized to Aipom anyway. Aipom gladly accepted it and he apologized back. Then Kana's pokemon led Aipom to the room where they go to eat with other trainer's pokemon. Then Kana headed over to the cafe area to have some lunch.

Trainers were talking of the upcoming competition, so enthusiastic for it. 'Did you sign up,' they asked the trainer.

Kana looked over at the other trainers that she was sitting with and she smiled at them. Kana gave a nod as she takes a drink of her water.

"Yeah. I'm really looking forward to it." Kana answered.

The other trainers seemed to give a smile when Kana said that she was participating in the tournament. "Which pokemon did you enter? No wait, don't say anything about your pokemon. It would spoil the fun," they said, another person walking over to the table. "If you're participating in the tournament, you shouldn't be saying much about what you're entering. Not only is it against tournament rules, but it gives the others an unfair advantage." The person then walked away, leaving the few to continue talking and eating.

Kana just shrugged and let the other trainer that told her about not revealing what two pokemon she picked. Kana continued to eat her sandwich with the other trainers as she continues her conversation with them. Meanwhile, Kana's pokemon were enjoying their lunch as well as they have a conversation with the other trainer's pokemon.

'Well, see you during thecompetition,' the few said, rushing off to train

Kana waved at the trainers as she finished her sandwich and her water. Then Kana took the empty tray and glass and she sat it with the other trays and glass. Then Kana headed back to the front of the center where her pokemon were waiting. Then Kana and her Pokemon went back to route 29 to train for the tournament.

Trainers offered to battle Kana for training. Others asked about teaching her poke on useful tips.'

Eventually, Kana accepted a battle from a lass trainer as she gave her a nod on some tips that could be useful for her pokemon. The totodile Brothers were right by her side as her other pokemon watched form the side lines. Kana and her pokemon met the lass trainer on just as they entered route 29 and that was where they would have their battle.

'alright, the trainer said. 'First, its good to study the oponent. Know your strengths and weaknesses, and go on that.'

Kana gave the Lass Trainer a nod as she smile.

"Right. Yeah, this looks good for our battle." Kana said.

Kana went on one side with the totodile brothers with her while her other pokemon watched from the side. Kana gave the Lass Trainer a smile as she gets her Challenge face on and she waited for her opponent to get ready.

'I have only one poke on,' the trainer said. 'But its strong! Can you beat it with yours? I'll let you use your team for the tournament,' the triaainer said, tossing a pokemon out. 'Umbreee,' the umbreon called, it prepared for battle.

Umbreaon - Male - Level 16 - 8 hits

Kana gave a friendly smirk to the trainer. MonsterClaw stepped forward and he faced the umbreon. GatorClaw jumped up and down as he cheered for his brother.

"MonsterClaw shall be up first." Kana said.

Umbreon - Male - Level 16 - 8 hits

"That sounds like an excellent idea," the other trainer said to her. "Well, you should have the first move."

"With pleasure! MonsterClaw, use leer! Then use scratch!" Kana called

MonsterClaw gave the umbreon a harsh leer as he narrow his eyes. Then MonsterClaw ran at him with his claws raised and he brings them down on the umbreon as he used scratch.
