Kana and her pokemon had arrived in CherryGrove City. Kana smiled as she relieved to have made it here. She loved coming here as it was one of the cities she liked to come with her mom for shopping. Kana smiled to the locals as they greeted her. Eventually, Kana and her pokemon arrived at the pokemon center and they went inside. Kana went up to the counter and she greeted Nurse Joy that she knew since her mom and her first came to CherryGrove City when Kana was four years old.

"Hi, Nurse Joy. It's been a while." Kana greeted as she held MonsterClaw in her arms.

"Oh hey, Kana! What's this? You're a Trainer now? That's nice. Oh, you know me when it comes to Pokémon. Let's pause the talking and put whatever Pokémon you want me to heal on the counter."

Kana nodded as she sat MonsterClaw on the Counter. Then she picked up FlowerChic and she put her on the counter next. Next she picked up GatorClaw and she put him on the counter next to FlowerChic. Lastly, she took out DarkFlare's pokeball and put it on the counter.

"These are the pokemon that needs healing." Kana said.

(XD I was wondering if you'd put Houndour there without his Pokeball. I was planning a comical mess thingy. :P)

Nurse Joy opened the drawer underneath the counter and took three Pokeballs out. He put the two Totodiles and Chikorita into the Pokeball and then took all four Pokeballs into a machine. "Don't worry; I use the Pokeballs only to heal them. It's still free of charge," she said as she pressed the button which then healed the Pokémon along with the familiar "dun-dun-dun-dun-deeen" sound that the machine makes.

She then takes the Balls again and releases the Totodile brothers and then Chikorita but keeping the Houndour in his Pokeball. It's common sense that there's a reason why the other one was not taken out. "There, all set and fresh."

Kana took DarkFlare's pokeball and she put it away. Then The totodile brother jumped onto her shoulders while FlowerChic jumped down and she shook her body, fleshing all healed and refreshed.

"Thanks, Nurse Joy." Kana said.

GatorClaw and MonsterClaw each thanked Nurse Joy as well. FlowerChic swung her leaf with grace as she also thanked her. After some talk with Nurse Joy, Kana and her pokemon exited out of the pokemon center and they head to the pokemart to buy some potions and other things that they might need. Kana smiled as she waved at the clerk counters at the check-out stand before looking through the isles to see what she can buy.

After buying potions and antidotes, Kana and her pokemon exited the pokemart. It was about afternoon now, so they can head back to route 29 to look for more pokemon and do some training before coming back here and staying at the pokemon center for the first night. With that, Kana and her pokemon, the totodile brothers and FlowerChic, headed back to Route 29. Once there, they began to look for more pokemon.

Pokemon Adventures - Episode II: A Time for healing, stocking, catching, and training! 177a

Atop a tree branch is a Natu. It's just staring up in the sky looking at nothing.

Kana looked at a tree and she took noticed of the Natu on the tree branch. GatorClaw jumped down and he ran over to the tree. Then he climbs up and sits by the natu. Kana and the other pokemon came over to the tree as Kana looked up at the natu with a smile.

(Your GatorClaw is just dat damn adorable.)

Natu was not at all alarmed. He calmly turned his head towards the quick and adorable GatorClaw. And then looked down feeling someone else. He saw Kana and his team. Then he looked back at the sky ignoring them. "What's your business here," he spoke softly.

Kana gasped as she stared at the natu. This psychic pokemon was speaking to her through telepathy. GatorClaw looked at the natu and then he turned and looked at the sky. Kana smiled and she decided to answer her.

"I'm a pokemon trainer on a journey. We're out looking for pokemon and to make new friends, right guys?" Kana explained.

MonsterClaw jumped up and down happily as FlowerChic just nodded her head with a smile. GatorClaw also smiled as he looked at Natu and he told him that Kana was a really nice trainer and that she takes care of him and the other pokemon.

(Eh, I always thought a Natu can talk literally just like others. Sorry for that. :))

"Are you trying to say that you need my strength for your success," answered a question, the Natu did with his mind. He is still staring on the blue sky with its white clouds and feeling the gentle wind along with the fresh smell of unpolluted trees.

"No. That's not it at all." Kana said.

Kana didn't mean to offend the bird pokemon. GatorClaw explained that Kana wasn't like those that treat pokemon like they're tools. Kana smiled and she nodded, letting the bird pokemon know that it's true.

"I am both evil and peace. If we are to become friends, we are to become enemies. If we are to become enemies, we are to become friends. Yin and Yang are one," he said. Could it be a riddle? A hint? A puzzle? What? The wild Hoothoot who Chikorita was fighting before was as weird as this one. Only that this Natu sounds more focused and proper.

GatorClaw looked from Kana to natu and he tried to tell him that Kana was really nice. She doesn't use pokemon for strength. But Kana can see that this natu could have a point. But she still likes pokemon just the way they are and she would never mistreat them.

"Well, thing is. I would never mistreat pokemon! Ever!" Kana explained.

Natu blinked and looked at Kana. "I hope you do not fail me much as my previous Trainer did."

He turned around and looked at GatorClaw who is sitting on a tree branch beside him. "Well, you don't look like you have a bad Trainer. Very well my fellow, Pokémon. I'm your friend now."

Kana smiled at natu and she nodded. GatorClaw also smiled as he raised his arms up in excitement. Kana pulls out a pokeball and she tosses it at natu with gentleness.

Natu jumps down towards the Pokeball and was captured. Kana will probably think of a name. Good it is there are no more energy drinks.

Kana caught the pokeball with natu inside as GatorClaw climbed down and he did a little dance around Kana. MonsterClaw was happy to obtain a new friend too. FlowerChic was also happy, but she was also curious about what the natu said.

"Welcome to the team and I shall call you, Viho." Kana said.

Sounds of children playing can be heard behind Kana. They're a few steps away wearing sleeveless shirts, shorts and holding nets. They are a group of bug catchers and there are four of them.

"Alright, that's mine! Oh missed!"
"Ahahaha! You have a big nose that's why!"
"Eh, look a Beedrill! D'aw, it went away!"
"A Venonat! Hey... Look! A Trainer!"

One pointed a finger towards Kana and the four of them went towards her with a friendly smile. "Trainer, Trainer! Come battle the four of us in a row! We each have a single Pokemon but I'm the toughest so these three can go first," said the one who just pointed at her.

Kana just stood there as she stared at all four of them while blinking a few times with the pokeball still in her hand. This was so sudden for her, but it would be a good idea to battle them and get some good training in. Kana thought for a minute as she looked ta her pokemon. MonsterClaw and GatorClaw were eagerly happy to battle and FlowerChic agreed. Kana smiled as she put Viho's pokeball away and she turned to the four bug catchers.

"Alright. We accept your challenge. So, who will I face first?" Kana said.

"She accepted the challenge. Who wants to go first," asked what seems to be the group's leader. "I go first," said the smallest one with a blond hair and speaks in a cute and tiny voice. "We are categorized as Bug Catchers but unlike others, we don't battle with the Bugs that we've caught. We keep the Bugs as friendly pets and keep them away from harm. We each have our own Pokémon ready to get some fight."

Out of his Pokeball comes a male Level 8 Rock Snake Pokémon, Onix. "Alright, try to take down my big guy," he said with such happiness.

This time, GatorClaw took a few steps forward. Kana smiled as she looked at her first opponent.

"I choose GatorClaw as my first pokemon." Kana said.

"D'aw, a Water-type. Oh well. That's some challenge. Screech," he commanded. Onix lets out an ear-splitting Screech that is meant to lower GatorClaw's defense. The children covered their ears.

Kana and her pokemon covered their ears. GatorClaw recovered as he shook his head and he faced his foe's Onix.

"GatorClaw, use Leer! Then follow it up with hydro pump!" Kana called out.

GatorClaw jumped up at the Onix and he gave it a sharp leer. Then he landed back where he was and he uses hydro pump by unleashing a large pressure of water form his mouth at the Onix.
