Jeff's adventure for the gym

The Alakazam man pulled out a pack of cards and began levitating in front of the audience, surrounded by purple light, "Well now I would like a volunteer from the audience," he announced, still holdung the pack of cards. Most o the audience scuffle uneasily, too shy to be the volunteer.

"i'll do it" said Jeff raising his hand, piplup watched

The Lakazam man held the deck of cards towrds Jeff, "Pick a card any card," he said.

Jeff picked a card and held on to it

It was a ten of spades. The Alakazam man smiled an began shuffling thr deck really fast, so fast that one would swear tht he should have dropped all the cards, but somehow they all stayed in his hands. After about thirty seconds of shuffling, he held the deck out in front of Jeff, "Put it back on top of the deck."

Jeff put the card back

The magician fanned the cards out towards the audience so that they could see them and he could only see the backs. "Well," he said, "The card which this young gentleman here gave me is a ten of spades, am I correct?" The audience cheered for a bit, as he pulled out the ten of spades and showed it around to everybody, "Magic," he said.

"Thank you," said thr man before landing back on the ground and rraching into his bag, pulling out something wrappe in a dark blue towel. "To thank you for helpon me, I am going to
Give ypu this Egg," he said, handing Jeff te dark blue towel with the Egg inside:

Jeff grabbed the egg "thank you" he said, holding the egg

It was yellow with red dots on it, and it felt slightly warm. Not warm enough to hatch, but still slightly warm. Nurse Joy was watching in the crowd, "Hey youre the boy with lots of Pokemon, correct?" she asked, walking towards Jeff as the Alakazam man readied his unicycle for another trick, "Do you want me to take this to the PC for you or put another of your Pokemon in the PC?"

"i'll put silcoon in" said Jeff, grabbing silcoon's pokeball

Nurse Joy took the Pokeball from Jeff, "Okay, see you," she said and walked off towards the Pokemon Centre. A Starly flew past and sat on Jeff's head before beginninf to chirp a strange tune. Not a mystical one which would lull people to sleep or anything, just a strange one.

"hehe, good starly" said Jeff, going to pet the bird

The Starly flew off towards Jubilife City, with another trainer following it, "Oh no," he said dramatically, "My brother's Starly is running away, I told him I would look after it," he exclaimed, still chasing the Starly but no being able to catch up to it flying speeds. The boy was clearly in distress.

Jeff sent out tangela and told it to use constrict to stop the starly

Starly was already too far away from Tangela so Tangela wouldn't be able to catch it. The trainer ran alongsode Jeff's Tangela but Starly was too fast, dodging pedestrians, turning into random alleyways, it surely was a fast Starly which would be almost impossible for one to catch with their hands.

"sorry that my tangela couldn't stop it for you" said Jeff, tangela started running after the starly and soon didn't know which it went so in decide to use constrict on Jeff and piplup to lift them in the air "put me down tangela" said Jeff, tangela started laughing

Starly was flying toward Jubilife City, no longer weaving through buildings, it was still going fast, too fast to catch on foot, the only hope would really be to keep chasin it until it got tired and slowed down, which was likely to happen soon due to the high speeds in which it was flying.

Jeff remembered that he needed to get some pokemon out of the pc so he hurried to the pc to put in some pokemon in and get some pokemon back

Jeff got on and switched two pokemons

The boy was waiting outside the PC, "Have you got the Pokemon needed to get the Starly?" he asked, worried about his brother's Starly and wishing he had a Pokeball for it.

"kinda" said Jeff, he sent out a ditto and a devras, ditto stared at Jeff and devras was thinking who to tear apart first "devras you'll get some meat soon if you catch a starly but don't eat it and ditto transform into an electrike" devras was pretty mad that he couldn't tear them apart and couldn't eat the starly he has to chase, ditto transformed into an electrike "now go" he said and they ran off

Starly kept flying towards Joubilife City. Thinkin it had outran the train, she decided to sit in a tree and watch the world go by. In the distance she could see a Devras and an Electrike running but she doubted they would be much of a threat, by the time she got her energy back.
