Pokemon White~ Lelantos Hunter's battle~ (Markj1998)

Loud sound boomed as Americans when about their nightly business, Cars drove down roads and planes and helicopters flew overhead. People still walked the streets and stores still bright with costumers and kids still outside. But far away from this loud night in America, out of reach for any mortal, was an Observatory, In it, setting on his throne, was a man of a dark beauty.  

"A game? Ah yes, games of epic proportions." The man leaned back and crossed his long legs at the knee, He gazed at his crystal ball, watching a young man inside his house, unsuspecting of the things to come. "He you ask for? Yes it is he." Tapping the glass with his pointed boots, he bounced the ball on his foot. "Lelantos Hunter he is, Good choice for this wondrous game." He tilted his head down, allowing his long hair to cover his demonic red eyes, "A guide? Of course." He waved his pale hand, summoning a Woman from her resting place.

"Yes Master?" He looked at her out the corner of his eyes, "Protect and Guide this man, the game wants him." The woman nodded silently, "As you wish." With a wave of his hand, the woman disappeared, and he continued to watch Lelantos, He grinned wickedly and kicked the crystal ball into the air, catching it in his hands as it fell. "Come now, time to play the game." He pumped magic into the ball, then watched as the teenager collapsed and vanish. "All begins now."

Bird pokemon flew above the small town, A red haired lady seen walking away from a house. In a house, an alarm blared loudly, it's noise enough to wake the dead, and unaware teenagers too. In this boyish room, pokemon posters galore and rockstar products, was a pokemon themed desk. On that desk was a Letter addressed to the sleeping Teenager. Next to it was a Golden box of brilliant color, not far of was a Trainer bag for pokemon trainers.  

The Letter read, "

Dear Lelantos Hunter,

Welcome! Lelantos Hunter, to the wonderful world of pokemon, in this world of powerful creatures and trainer battles, You have finally arrived. You have been chosen to transverse the pokemon world, but be wary, Team Plasma is rising high, and it's up to you to stop them, if you accomplish this, well lets just say you get a 'Grand' Prize. In the Golden box is a pokemon, specially picked for you. Have fun, Lelantos Hunter, and head to the lab, your journey starts there.

Have fun~" The letter had no address and didn't ay who wrote it. But know it's time to wake up, SO WAKE UP!

Lelantos awoke at the sound the alarm and looked around with a start, he quickly realized that this wasn't his room and looked around for clues as, to where he was. Thankfully his keen eyesight was immediately drawn to the letter and he approached picking it up in his right hand and began to read through it. Upon reaching the part where it mentioned the pokemon in the golden box he placed the letter down. He had played through the game when his grandfather had bought it for him and knew the drill looking to the box he opened and upon a purple velvet base was the pokeball in question.

Lelantos picked the pokeball up saying to himself
"Hmmm... What exactly could this grand prize be and how did I even get here?"
looking carefully at the pokeball he noticed a bit of static from the opening and immediately knew who it was; his faithful partner from in his game in the real world: Artemis his Joltik. throwing the pokeball carefully into the air and allowing Artemis to come out onto his shoulder nodding to Artemis and without awaiting any action from his pokemon he clipped the pokeball onto his belt and placed on a traditional ninjutsu headband featuring a shuriken on it. He checked his kunai though he'd never use them on a pokemon they come in handy for generalized use on his journey.

Lelantos then went over to the window and without checking in on his `Mum` who would no doubt be downstairs he climbed out of the window and immediately pulled on his specialized gloves and Tabi sitting on the window ledge and looking to Artemis he began to make his way through the town along the rooftops and then noticing the town's large building and an open window he launched himself from a final rooftop catching a hold of the window and pulling himself up into the building. Lelantos looked down and sure enough there were his rivals, Cheren and Bianca. Looking down he was roughly 15 ft up in the air on heavy duty metal rack shelving; easy enough to work with calling down he said
"So, I got a letter and it said to come here"
he may have put the letter down after reading about his pokemon but, that didn't mean he wouldn't notice the part about the lab at the bottom with his keen eyesight. He announced
"Allow me to join you"
dropping with ease from the great height and landing on his haunches as his training had taught him. Raising to his full height which was taller than that of Cheren, Bianca and the Professor's he questioned
"Shall we get started? Ready Professor now what do I need to know?"
looking to Artemis still on his shoulder then back to the Professor and his `Rivals/friends`.

(I know I don't control Artemis you do but, technically I haven't I just released him onto my shoulder and got started to the lab so, I could get this journey going for Lelantos sooner)

Cheren, looked at Lelantos out the corner of his eyes, regarding him briefly, "So you arrived, Late I see." He turned away and brought one of hi hands to his hips, "Even the soo punctual Lelantos can be late, anyways the professor has been waiting." He said sarcastically, before looking towards the bubbly girl he calls his friend. Bianca pouted at the glasses wearing male, "Oh Cheren don't be soo mean~ He probably has a good reason he is late." Juniper Smiled lightly, "And that explanation will have to wait, because I'm sure you all would prefer we start."


Bianca and Cheren both nodded, Bianca happily and Cheren's with a bored air. "Now Lelantos, I see you have your pokemon already, but i'll take my own advice and talk later, now then." The red headed woman cleared her throat, "I'm Professor Juniper! Also known as the pokemon professor-" "We already know who you are Professor." Cheren interjected, Juniper sighed and started again. As she explained the long introduction, Cheren would sometimes interject with is own advanced knowlege, and Bianca struggled to pay attention.

Silent and bored, Artemis blocked out the whole situation, thinking of his charge, 'Hmph, didn't even bother to introduce himself to me, how is he gonna make pokemon like him like that?' The demon turned pokemon thought back to his charge's feet earlier, He wasn't really impressed, since Demons can do that easily. Artemis sighed, 'He is strong, smart too, but will he real be able to overcome the challenges to come in this game? Only Master knows.'

He turned his attention to the professor as she finally finished her explanation, now paying them slight mind. Juniper grinned largely as she laughed, "Well that's all~ Now here is what i want you all to do. Got to Route 1, you all know where that is, and i'll give you all something special~" She waved at them before leaving the three, walking out her lab. Cheren humped, "Well, I believe I shall be going." He said as he walked out, Bianca jumped suddently, just know coming too, "Oh! Gotta run!!" She screamed as she charged out the door. Artemis looked at Lelantos, waiting for him to make his move.

Lelantos had listened faintly without much interest but, knowing that having all the information can be the difference between surviving and... well the opposite. He then looked to Artemis and said
"Now we've been here and we're not much later than we already were. The name is Lelantos it's a pleasure to meet you Artemis"
once he said that he calmly strolled towards Route 1 as, he also knew that he didn't necessarily need to free-run everywhere. Upon arrival at the route he looked to Professor Juniper and inquired
"So, then Professor what is it that you wanted to give us?"
looking to Bianca and Cheren who were already there when he arrived at the Route. He returned his gaze to the Professor after smiling at Artemis.

Bianca blinked once she heard the teenager's voice from behind her, then smiled and waved animatedly as Lelantos approached the trio. "Hi Lelantos, glad you made it~" Cheren however didn't greet the male, busy indulging himself the hushed conversation he and the Professor where having. Juniper glance up at the male as well, smiling brightly at the final arrival. Standing up from her crouched position, Juniper faced the teenager with a excited glare in her eye. "Your here, Great! Now we can begin." Juniper stepped back from the three, moving so that they all where in front of her.

"Now that you are all here I can tell you all that I'm very proud to see you all off on your journeys, Now I well give you three the necessary items to begin your journeys." She walked up to each of them and gave them the following items, A Pokedex, 5 Pokeballs, 2 Poitons, and 5,000 bucks. Bianca stared down at the objects in her hand, wonder shining in her eyes. "Wow! We really get all this?" Juniper nodded, Cheren quickly put the newly acquired items in his bag, "Don't look the gift horse in the mouth Bianca. Just be grateful." Juniper laughed and smiled down at the teens, "Do you remember how to catch a pokemon?" Cheren nodded, having throughly studied the art, Bianca however shook her head no, having forgotten. "As I thought, here, Let me give you all a refresher." She walked into the tall grass with the teenagers, then showed them how to catch a pokemon.

"Well thats all, time for me to head back to the lab. I'll see you all later~ Oh! and before I go," She walked up to Lelantos and handed him a Xtransceiver, "You mom wanted me to give this to you, now don't be a stranger and come visit me sometimes, bye~" She waved as she left the three. Bianca stared into nothing, having become overcome with shock. Artemis stared at her, wondering if the human girl would move, His question was answered when the girl gave a loud shout, leaping up into the air in joy. "WE DID IT!" she screamed, dancing around the clearing. Cheren shook his head, though the excitement was clear in his dark eyes. Bianca ran up to Lelantos and dragged him over to Cheren, then looped her arms with the other teens, She grinned at the both of them, "Hey! Lets take our first step as new pokemon trainers together!" Cheren adjusted his glasses and smiled smally, "That might be the smartest plan you've ever come up with Bianca." Bianca huffed in mock anger and giggled afterwards, "Let's go!"
