Pokemon Black! Jonathon Montoya's Journey~ (Mistdrake)

The world was silent.... All life was asleep on this peacefully night. Lights were off and only few where up and moving. It was here that the clear stary sky would mesmerize all whom gazed upon it's beauty. Far, far away from this lovely scene, in a observatory hidden away from all human life, a mysterious man gazed into a crystal ball floating a few feet from him. Slowly he allowed a sly smirk to cross his handsome face.

"The world seeks a new toy it seems?" He leaned back on his throne, studying the young man, seemingly uninteresting, laying on his bed sound asleep. "Wishes for this one It does," he chuckled, " Boy oh boy, Jonathon of name, knows not of this wonderfully game he shall experience." His Red eyes glew brightly in amusement, "A guide he needs? Oh so shall it be." He raised his hand and snapped his long nailed hand, summoning a figure from the darkness of his throne room.

"Yes Master?" It asked in a distinct feminine voice, He paid her little mind as he rested his head on his hand, "Guide the boy through this game." He commanded, "Protect him." She nodded, and vanished without a trace. The man allowed the ball to drift closer to him then caressed it gently, "Come now boy, time to play..." He pushed some of his power into the ball, then watched as the teenager vanished, "So it begins." The man chuckled, standing up with a flourish, causing his cape to whip behind him as he walked away, then vanished completely.

Pidove chirp loudly as a alarm clock blared loudly, attempting to rouse the unsuspecting teenager from his magic induced deep sleep. He was in a distinctively boyish room, with pokemon posters, and was slightly dirty. On the desk was a small letter, addressed to the sleeping teen, with a golden box sitting next to it. Also was there a bag that all trainers used at the beginning of their pokemon journey.

The letter read, "

Dear Jonathon Montoya,

Welcome to the world of pokemon, as I'm sure you know, Pokemon are magnificent creatures with many powers. You, Jonathon Montoya, have been personally selected to traverse this world, but as you should know it is very dangerous... Team Rocket, or shall I say Team Plasma? You are in Unova after all. I'm sure you are wondering what the golden box is? Inside that box is a special pokemon, selected just for you. So Go out there Jonathon Montoya, Your a awaited for at the Lab, as I'm sure you know.

Have fun~" The letter had no signature, it didn't say whom it was from ether. But know, isn't it about time you awoken?

I woke up and knew something was off. This wasn't really my bed. As I sat up and opened my eyes, I realized this wasn't even my room. "What the...Where am I? How did I end up here." I said, looking around. I made sure I was still, well, me. "Ok..." I pinched my arm and felt myself do it, still here. "Ok...not a dream." I threw my feet over the side of the bed and looked around and I saw a strange box on the desk. "I wonder what that is." I said, standing up. It was strange at first walking in whatever this place was. Picking up the box and reading the note, I raised an eyebrow. "This just keeps getting weirder..."

I decided I may as well check out the lab, opening the closet I was surprised to find clothes that I would normally wear. Putting them on I walked down stairs and out the door. "This is nice..." I said, watching some strange birds fly off. Looking around, I found a building that looked like a lab, compared to everything else around here. Walking in I stopped in the door way. "Hello? Anyone in here?"

As he was walking, Mist slipped out of her pokeball unnoticed, and followed behind him, smirking. Once he opened the door she appeared in front of him and yelled loudly, "Mist~" Cheren looked over at the noise as he noticed the missing trainer finally show up. "It's about time you showed, Your later then Bianca." He adjusted his glasses and looked at Jonathon, "Though you not terribly late though, just a few minutes." He added on softly, Bianca looked over at them with a large smile on her face, "Hey is that your pokemon! She is so cute~ My little Snivy is cute too~" She bumped Cheren with her elbow, "You? Being nice, are you really Cheren? Hehe." He glared at her from behind his glasses, "Just because I'm being nice doesn't mean I'm not me Bianca."

Juniper took this time to talk, "As nice as it is seeing you all get along, I think everyone wants me to start you on your careers~" She smiled, "So how about you all listen okay? now then.." She cleared her throat, "Hello soon to be trainers~ I'm known as Professor Juniper, and also as a Pokemon Professor." Before she could continue, Cheren interrupted her, "We know who you are Professor." Juniper glared playfully at him, "Now Cheren, it rude to interrupt others, now I'll start again. Then she launched into a long explanation about the pokemon world and all the standered stuff, throughout her speech Cheren would put his own 50 cents in to show his advanced knowledge.

As This was taking place, Mist floated around Jonathon, regarding him in a since of fun, 'So this is him, my new charge. He seems kinda lazy, smart though. but plenty of lazy people are smart.' She stopped above him and giggled, 'This might just be fun.' The Demon turned pokemon smirked widely, then she turned her attention to the Professor as she finally ended her speech. Juniper clapped her hands together, "Well thats all~ Now all of you come to Route 1, I have something special for all of you. Later~" she waved as she walked out the lab, leaving the three to their own devices. Cheren humped and walked out without aword, while Bianca ran up to Jonathon, "Well lets goo~ I'll see you there buddy~" She cheered as she oatted his shoulder, then ran off to follow Cheren. Mist floated towards the door before looking back on the Teenager, she waited for his response.

"This keeps getting weirder and weirder..." I muttered as everyone left the lab. Looking around, nothing here particularly stood out as a device that would explain how I ended up here. To be honest, the lab was rather small, there was an entry way into a side room that I didn't really feel like going into. It was probably some sort of living space for the professor, seeing as she didn't appear to have an actual house in this town. Besides mine, I only saw two others, and I doubted those two that somehow knew me lived together. How the two of them knew me, I had no idea. That was another mystery I added to my list. "So, you're my starter huh? Well, let's go see what they want to do out there." I said, heading out the door and towards the only part of the town that wasn't blocked off by dense trees and, what I hoped would be, the Route 1 the professor was talking about.

Bianca looked behind her as she noticed the fellow teenager walking up with his pokemon. She grinned brightly and ran over to the male, "Hi Jonathon~ You just in time for whatever the Professor wanted from us." She grabbed his hand and dragged him towards the begining of route 1. There, Cheren, punctual as usual, was standing with the Professor, talking in a hushed tone. The two looked over at the new arrivals and mentioned them over. Juniper started, "You two are here~ No since all three of you are her, I have something to give to you." She pulled multiple devices from her bag and walked to each one of the Teens, She had given them each 5 pokeballs, A pokedex, 2 potions, and 5,000 bucks! "Wow! Do we really need all this?" Bianca looked at the objects in her hand with surprise, Cheren just put the items in his bag, "Don't look the gift horse in the mouth Bianca, Just take it and be grateful." Bianca eep'ed and nodded.

Mist floated around Jonathon, looking at his gifts with interest, 'Useful, this will do nicely in his beginning journeys.' The Demon laughed and floated to Bianca, before flying circles around her, "Hey~ Your making me dizzy~hehe." Bianca giggled and spun to watch the pokemon, making herself dizzy in the process. Cheren sighed and Juniper laughed, "You all know how to catch a pokemon right?" The two teens nodded, though Bianca's seemed uneasy. Juniper caught on to this and smiled, "I'll show you how to do it Bianca, you two can watch if you need a refresher." The she went and showed Bianca how to catch a pokemon, allowing the girl to follow by using short yet descriptive wording.

"Well it's time for me to head back to the lab, Oh and before I forget, Here." Juniper handed Jonathon one more item, it was a Xtransceiver. "Your mom wanted me to give this to you, now bye guys~" She waved as she walked off to her lab, leaving them standing, ready to begin their journeys. Bianca stood still, so still in fact that Mist floated into her face to see any reactions. Then she bursted, "EEEEEEE! Were pokemon trainers!" She whooped and danced around, the bemused pokemon following her around, Cheren sighed but smiled, feeling his own joy at being a pokemon trainer. She turned to Jonathon and ran up to him before dragging him to Cheren and hooping her other arm with his, "Come own guys! Let's take our first steps as Pokemon Trainers together!" Cheren smiled softly and readjusted his glasses with his free hand, "I see no problems with that." Bianca fake gasped and grinned at the other Teenager on her arm then looked forward with glee!, "Alrighty! Lets Gooo!"

I looked over the things that the professor had given me. "Neat...I guess..." I said, putting them into a bag I had. Watching Juniper demonstrate how to catch pokemon to Bianca, I realized it would be rather easy to do it. Then Bianca dragged me. "Alright...yeah, we're pokemon trainers." I said, wrapping my mind around that fact. Then, we are arm and arm, walking onto the route. "I think I'm going to try and catch something." I said, breaking away from the group and heading into the grass to try and find something wild to add to my team.

As the teenager walked through the grass, Mist floated beside him, smiling smugly to herself for whatever reason, 'He is soooo shy~ It will be fun playing with that~Hehehe~' She giggled creepily. The current scene was peaceful, The grass was blown gently by the slight wind, and it was oddly quite, though not seen, many pokemon where hiding away, going about their own business and avoiding trainers. Mist hummed at the scenery, she enjoyed traveling the world at times like these, nothing to really worry about, Looking over at her trainer, she smiled softly and laughed.

Soon there was a distant barking nose from afar, Mist took notice and floated in front of Jonathon, ready for the battle coming towards them. Soon a puppy like pokemon popped from the grass, The lilipup panted as he looked at them, waging his tail so hard it looked as if it would fly off at any moment. He growled at them playfully, trying, and failing, to look threatening. Mist cocked her head at her trainer, waiting for his reaction.

I watched as Mist floated around and then she suddenly moved to battling position. "Whoa..." I said, surprised at her interest in the movement. Then the little dog looking creature popped out. "Oh, well what are you?" I asked, pulling out the pokedex the professor had given me. "Lillipup huh..." I said, looking at it. "I guess I could catch you. Alright Mist, use nasty plot and then psywave! Try not to knock it out, I'd like to catch it."

Mist's smile stretched across her face as the battle started. She instantly used nasty plot, floating around with no real visible effects other then the short glow of her body, She darted up into the air as the puppy pokemon tried to tackle her, He yelped as he fell face first into the ground, before popping up and using growl on her. Mist twitched as her attack was lowered, "Mist~ (no matter.)" She grinned sadistically at the pup as she unleashed her Psywave, the attack moving too fast for the Lillipup to dodge. He yelped as he was knocked back by the attack, but he bounced back up quickly, attempting to hit Mist with a tackle. Of course, the attack went right through her ghostly body. "Gihehehehe~" she laughed.

"Alright Mist, back off. I want to try and catch this thing." I said, feeling a surge of energy. This pokemon battle thing was rather invigorating. Grabbing one the empty pokeballs the professor gave me, I tossed it at the little dog like pokemon. "Let's hope this works."

The pokeball hit the puppy square in the head, sucking the pokemon in with a bright flash of red light. The red and white ball shook rapidly as the weakened pokemon attempted to break free from it's chambers. But alas, It's efforts are in vain, as the ball stopped it's movement and layed dormant in it's spot, showing the successful capture of the Lillipup. Mist giggled loudly, twirling around in air, show she appeared happy, a thought was on her mind, 'That Lillipup knew bite....if it would of used it, I would've been in trouble...' None of this showed on her face, her grin remaining planted on her face as she levitated the ball to Jonathon.
