Blue Group's Quest

As the watch got tossed, Xene turned around, beaking it in mid air with his bare hands. "Then get lost, like if I care" His face got dyed grey for just a second, then turned back to normal. "And for the last time, the name's Xene"

Aries helped to haul Twilight up into the plane with a smile as, Emolga caught the falling communication devices handing one to Aries and one to Twilight. Aries then said
"We'll go on ahead and check the area and don't be sexist Bruce, everyone here is equal otherwise we'll get in arguments and it will become dangerous so, work as a team and we'll keep in contact"
then looking to Twilight he asked
"So then what's your name? In case, you didn't hear I'm Aries and these are Emolga, Venipede and Marshtomp my best friends and partners"
climbing into his seat in the cockpit whilst, he awaited Twilight making his pre-flight checks his teammates climbing in the back in the plane's third seat which was specially designed to hold 6 pokemon, leaving the middle seat for Twilight and her pokemon.

"Wh-What?" No. She...Yoku had the wrong idea. She didn't dislike Bruce. Merely slightly offended at what he had said, is all. "Oh. I'm Twilight." She murmured quietly to both Yoku's and Aries' question. With an agile jump, Akina lightly landed on Twilight's lap. Very content there, she didn't show much signs of wanting to go over to the back seat. With a curious sniff at the three pokemon behind, she curled up on Twilight's lap.

She smiled when Emolga glided over with the communication device. "Thank you~" She chirped at the adorable Emolga.

Emolga smiled back and took her seat as, Aries closed the overhead glass roof on the plane and finalized his pre-flight checks then, starting the engine and taking off flying towards the source of the explosion he said through his headset
"So, then where abouts are you from"
making sure he didn't take his eyes off of where he was flying as, it was Rule 1 for flying: maintain concentration on the flight pattern.

"Yeah, it's Yoku," Yoku replied to Bruce, and she grit her teeth a little at the sexist comment. Before she could give him a run for his money, Aries put her thoughts into words a lot nicer than she would have. After Bruce made his suggestion, Yoku only shrugged, "I'm fine with waiting, but my legs are getting a little restless, I think I may go for a small walk; see what's in the general area. Trust me, without exercise, Dansei gets grumpy, and she's not afraid to bite someone." As if to prove her point, Dansei slinked closer to Bruce with her teeth spread wide in a vicious smile. She didn't seem to happy with Bruce's earlier comments either.

With the plane off and into the air, Yoku couldn't help but sigh. "Now all the sane ones are up in the air," she remembered Xene on his Salamance, "well, not all of the sane ones." As if seeking some comfort, she fished something out of her bag and gently pulled it out with her hand. It was a photograph matted in dry blood, depicting much happier times. In it was a young smiling Yoku and another man, older and similar in build- her brother. Glancing down at it, Yoku gave a small, sad smile before putting it away. "I've got to do this for him," she said to herself, and a fire returned to her eyes.

Xene was still on his salamence, wondering where the action was

"Nothing," Yoku replied, followed by what seemed like a forced yawn. "Just a reminder of happier times, and of my goals. It's nothing cheerful, and no matter how many times I try and think of how to change it, the past will never be undone. It's not something I really talk about..." she trailed off and cleared her throat. "I'm sure Dansei would love to meet your Quilava, Arceus knows she needs a better rival than Tamogo," she smiled down toward her Quilava, who smiled back up at her, "she's more used to sparring with her own teammates than she is with sparring against other Pokemon." It seemed that the conversation was light once more- almost as if Yoku purposefully diverted it from herself and her painful memories.

Twilight barely heard Aries' question, so busy she was admiring the little island. Hands and face pressed against the glass, a small smile adorned her face. Half turning towards him but her eyes never budging, "What? Oh, I'm from Kanto. It's...actually a pretty remote area, it probably wouldn't have a name." Her wandering mind partially thinking if her parents' little plot of land where they housed various pokemon, she did sub-conciously note that she was sounding and feeling stupid. The steady, regular breathing of the small body curled up on her lap showed that the Eevee was fast asleep.

Aries absorbed Twilight response replying with
"Sounds nice, I myself am from Humilau City, Unova. It's quite pleasant actually plenty of room for my flying and well protected thanks to the Marlon the Gym Leader"
he then noticed something on the ground and his planes' radar confirmed the abnormality as, Aries said
"Take a look down there now is it just me or would that be considered seriously strange and potentially dangerous?"
with that he started to activate his Communicator saying
"Guys me and Twilight have spotted something slightly Northeast of you; you should see the plane and that's about where it is. Come check it out i'm gonna find a safe place to land and if necessary return the plane to the beach runway we'll meet you in a second and, be careful guys"
beginning to circle it a bit for Twilight to have a look before, leaving the area and returning to the airstrip.

"Marlon? Who's that?" Twilight turned her eyes towards Aries. Upon his spotting something and asking her about it, she again looked out. A flock of Bird pokemon flying be caught her eye. Was it just him or did they seem dangerous? Nope. Just him. Then her eyes fell on the thing he was talking about. "Oh." She breathed.

Aries nodded
"Marlon; The Humilau City Gym Leader and Water Type Specialist anyway lets get back to the airstrip and converge on the anomaly from the ground"
turning the plane around and flying it back to the airstrip on the beach continuing the conversation
"So, family; you an only child?"
Emolga, Venipede and Marshtomp sitting in the back with their eyes strangely fixated on the anomaly as, Aries continued to fly the plane and talk with Twilight.

(sorry for the none postingness, but theres just nothing for Xene to do)

And just like that, another wave came. Technology, the communication devices, the plane's navigation system, all exploded. The pilot that was to drive the plane, exploded. Another note fell from the sky, landing on Bruce's head.

Seriously? A plane?
Are you people insane?
Outside technology has no place here!
That earlier warning must've went in your head and out your ears!
Walk toward the explosion like sensible people.
I don't have a rhyme for that line.

At the bottom of the page was another crude drawing.

Twilight wasn't usually much for conversation. And this was no exception. But she tried to keep it going. "Um, yes, I am." She nodded in agreement, when she spotted a paper flying around, and landing on Bruce's head.

"Eek!" She couldn't help shrieking when the communication device in her hand just randomly blew up. Throwing the now burning device down, she hurriedly picked it up again. Won't do to burn other things. Ninio quickly burst out of her ball and seemed more than happy to hold it in her mouth.

Twilight breathed a sigh of relief and quickly hid her singed hand behind her, out of sight from Aries.

Yoku listened to Bruce's description with rising concern, and she cringed a little at the explanation of the drawing. "I'm not sure myself," she said in reply to his statement, "though, whatever it or they are, they sure do seem to have a fondness for pyrotechnics. There were a lot of explosions just now, we should probably go check on the others... if one of them happened on Ares's plane, it could be really damaged and they could get hurt. Maybe the same happened to Robocop..." she wasn't sure why she kept using the nickname she gave Xene, maybe it was just because he was the type to irritate her. She didn't like people who thought themselves superior to others. "...though that wouldn't be more of a concern, he seems to be able to handle himself, unless he's all talk."

"We need not care about Robocop. Gotta admit, he looks strong. Salamence and a Lucario? He should be the rogue of the team actually. I just hate his attitude and those childish toys he has. Anyway, we should probably just wait for them to come back. I just hope they're fine. I really don't get why the government didn't choose to bring the military here. Things seem to be more dangerous than what they seem," Bruce said.

Aries felt the plane get hit by another electrical explosion but, through his many years of training he managed to safely land the plane in time on the beach airstrip. Once landed he opened to the plane roof and climbed out onto the wing placing his flight helmet inside he figured he'd fix the plane later when he was done sorting out this mess. He then front-flipped off of the wing landing perfectly before, catching Venipede who leapt off of the wing; placing him on the floor, Emolga glided to Aries' shoulder and Marshtomp landed calmly next to Aries. Aries then asked Twilight
"You ok to get down from there or need a hand?"
smiling as, he looked in the direction the others had gone in.

"No, it's okay, I can get down." She jumped off and landed on her feet. Many were the days she had climbing contests with Akina and the other pokemon her parents had. Give her a tree, and she could shinny up in a heartbeat. A plane...Kinda foreign. Twilight winced when her singed hands brushed against the frame of the door of the plane as she leapt. Still, sticking the landing, Akina landed precisely on her shoulder too.
