Red Group's Quest

A dreadful fate awaits those on this island. Good luck, trainers, and may you turn the tides...

(My first Modded post will be made once everyone in the group has posted here at least once. Your characters will probably have arrived by boat, if that helps you make an intro post ;3)

Xero rode his speedboat across the water, attempting to make it before it froze.  Unlikely, but still, you can't be too careful.  He soon arrive at the island and parked by the edge and jumped over.  "Ok, so this is Lacolette.  Now, hopefully I can get this done alone."  Xero looked around, and felt for strange energies, but nothing here.  Perhaps it was farther in, or maybe just masked...

Yukime had arrived only moments before the Trainer known as Xero. She stood, standing in an obscured area, exploring the area. "Lacolette is a quite amazing island. I do hope that I can accomplish what I'm here to attempt. If anyone gets in my way, I'll just have to go around." She grimaced a bit at the thought, before petting her Piloswine, Ivore, and calming down a bit. "Hopefully I meet a few new allies."

Ian looked at the island from the boat where he was in. It wasn't a weird island however he could feel that the pokemon in the pokeballs did not like this. They were restless and something about this island was making them scared. He took a closer look at it but he couldn't fathom what could be so scary about this island. It just looked like any of the other islands. He didn't see any people on it and he couldn't remember why he had come here however he was here now and he should make the best of it. The boat docked not much after his last thought as he stepped on the beach hearing the sound of the sand under his feet as he made his way. Would other people be here?

Do you know hat gave away the rather unique and weird aura of the island, The sun itself was blazing yet all around the island had a temperature that could easily be below freezing. The chopper that he had acquired to get there was borrowed from his friend in the police force, Still having ties there meant that Kai was able to pull some very hard to pull strings. The sound of the chopper would be heard over the roar of the winds but barely. The controlling of the large object began to act up. The closer that he got to the island. His eyes would not have believed what they had saw anywere else but the inside of the chopper began to freeze. Forced to hit the emergency button the floor would open and Kai would have to jump. The parachute opening as he glided towards the island.

At this height, He could see Ian as well as the other two around the island, "Hey start walking to the south" He would shout to Ian, This would be due to his glide taking him closer to Xero and Yukime's destination, The clips would be released as he landed almost to perfectly upon the island around these two. Hoping the man he had shouted to would follow Kai would look around, The temperature here was at its lowest yet the sun was still blazing. "Bl.....oooo...ddd..y...he...elll Its...fffffreeeeezing" He would say his teeth chattering

Xero wondered himself how the island was like this. He soon noticed three others and realized they wouldn't have come here if not for his reasoning as well. "I'm not surreal if I should wait or get this done and over with now."

Yukime took a deep breath, which became a frosty cloud when she exhaled. She shook her head. "This is unreal. It's almost like my home, but it's different. It feels....unsafe. I feel like I'm being watched." She wasn't speaking to anyone in particular, but was, rather, monologuing while petting her Piloswine. She shook her head.

The girl began to be aware of people entering the island, and decided to trek deeper in, so she began walking slowly, rubbing her Sneasel's Pokeball. She took a deep breath, and remained calm as she walked along. The only way to get through all of this would be to stay calm and keep going. The only way. She repeated this to herself in her mind over and over as a sort of "mantra."

As Xero sighed, turning his breath cold , he got the strangest feeling...As I being watched.  "Is someone else here?  I wonder...Maybe I should go meet up with her."  Xero chose Yukime because she had just Pokemon with her.  Great friends and helpers, but he figured it would be safer for both of them.  He quickly ran towards her and stopped shortly behind her.

Ian could see one girl and two guys also on the island. It was cold as he wasn't used to this however he was prepared for everything as he had a warm coat on. However he began to feel uneasy. Like people were watching him but he could see him and a feeling of uneasyness swept over him as he shivered of the cold. He walked towards the girl hoping she wasn't very shy. ''Goodday my lady I am Ian and what is your name'' He said with a gentle bow to the girl. He wondered how she would react, it wasn't that he was shy but some people didn't like it when people just walked up to then and began to talk to them without even knowing who they were.

Kai seemed to be the only one more interested in exploring than having a nice old chat, Or at least he thought he was until he saw the female of this rag tag group of trainers. He saw the male members of the group try to talk to her as she was walking deeper into the Island, His shivering responding to his movements as he tried to walk. it wasn't right he was still freeezing. His shaking hand would slowly and surely reach down to the left pokeball upon his belt, Upon retrieving it he would lightly throw it into the air watching it erupt with white sparks before taking the form of the Fire type fox like pokemon Flareon. It happened almost instantly upon Flareon running into the arm's of her cold trainer, The love coming from these two was magical the bond between a trainer and pokemon. It couldnt be stronger. The warmth he felt would be instant well considering that Flareons body had the ability to be over three thousand degrees it wasnt hard to see how feelign warm with the fluffy fire based pokemon.

With his body warm and the pokemon now safely by his side Kai would begin to walk, he had spoken but had been ignored so why would one stick around, Shaking his head he would smile to Flareon who would give a nod of approval before the two began to set off. It wasn't until then that the eery feeling of being watched slipped upon them, The hair's upon the back of his neck would stand at attention as if they had been within the military, The eery feeling would bathe over him and his Flareon whom would growl would be cautious. "Come on Flareon, Lets try to walk on" He would say softly as he began to walk deeper into the island

Xero looked around, but found nobody talking. "Did...Did you guys hear that?" Xero was focused on figuring out what was up with the island, whose voice that was, and what was truth and lies.

Freezing in place Kai would simply glance around the area, It seemed like a voice was echoing from all areas of the land yet none at the same time, Flareon did not seem to be able to hear the voice for upon Kai stopping the fire pokemon simply danced around the snow that would melt upon contact. Whatever this voice was it contradicted itself. At first trying to get everyone to split apart yet within the last verse of its poem stating a group was required. Would this be putting doubt into the groups mind. Waht was the voice... All he knew was he had to turn around, Having been the one to walk off alone he would head back to the group and upon finding them sigh softly. "Ok guys, Whatever the hell just happened it seems like we have to stick together. Has anyone got an amulet, on them or is that what we need to find first. Kai would say looking around.

"Im not sure but we need to decide on were we are going" He said softly looking at Flareon. He was worried, There was a part abut putting out fire...did that mean Flareon was in danger, Was Flareon the fire that needed to be put out.......This place was in deed weird his eyes traced his now new companions. "Ok guys lets here ideas" Kai would say easily showing his maturity, Being the eldest it seemed only fitting that he would aim to take charge.

Ian could see a boy walking towards him and the girl who he was talking to. It was getting colder and colder as he was waiting for him to speak. He put his hands on his fur coat and closed it a little tighter along with the scarf he was wearing which was moving in the rythem of the wind, He didn't mind the cold, it reminded him of the ski vacations he had with his family. However he was a bit creeped out by the voices that he could hear on the island. He wasn't sure about what the voice was saying to them. He could see the look on the others their faces and in an instant he knew that he wasnt the only one that was hearing the voice. Would the voice be telling the thruth? He thought so cause at the point the boy went into the forest they could hear the voice speaking to them telling they shouldn't. ''I think we should just go in together we are stronger that way and if anything happens we can help each other. I don't know something else so what about that?'' he asked as he looked around to the others wondering what their ideas would be for this. He hoped that this would soon be over and that they could soon return home to their family, friends or other things.

Xero had still been measuring options in his head, but it seemed good for him. But still, what about why the other people are here? He had come on...business, but why them? He shook those thoughts away and was quick to agree with the idea. "Sounds good to me. I mean, going alone isn't the way to go." He laughed, especially because of his original plans. 'And what they don't know is that that was my way to go until I saw them.'. Xero looked around. "Seems like the forest is the only way to go. I like it."

Sighins softly Kai would nod before turning to face the forest, The feeling of dread still upon him yet his Flareon would keep him true, But he couldnt help feel that they were going into no mans land. With a quick pat to Flareon and a nod to the rest of the team Kai would begin to venture into the forest the temperature within dropping even more,
