The Waterfall Training

It had been hours since Tai had left Doragon and the Dragon's Hallow. He had to admit the forest was a bit creepy, but he now had Jade to help him train the aura deep within him.

"Alright!" Tai called out seeing the river raging by. He began following it up stream until he encountered the fall. It was about seventeen feet high, and massively wide.

"Spinarak! Come on out!" Tai shouted, releasing his pokemon.

Spinarak and Cyndaquil looked to Tai a moment as Tai planned their training.

"I want you two to work on evasion. Work together to evade each other's attacks. Jade and I are going to meditate beneath the falls," Tai said, as he undressed down to a white tank top and swimming shorts.

He led his Riolu out to a great stone beneath the falls. There, he sat cross legged and focused on the dormant aura within him.

Tai-san. Bring the Aura fully under your control, Jade said encouragingly before she entered a meditation herself.

A level six, male Kaigrowl suddenly paddled up and stared at Tai, cocking its head.

Tai sensed the pokemon, opening his eyes.

Wow I am getting better at sensing auras. Tai thought, before he got up and looked to the pokemon.

"Well hello. I'm Tai, we're here training. Would you like to join our team and train with us?" Tai asked.

The Kaigrowl giggled and dove underwater. It wouldn't be that easy. It popped up behind Tai, floating around on its back lazily.

Tai smiled.

"Alright, Jade, let's get him. Use Force Palm to strike!" Tai called out to his female Riolu partner.

The Kaigrowl was hit. It swam forward and used Tackle, landing on the rock afterwards.

Tai had to watch this new Pokemon.

"Jade, use Aura Sphere!" Tai called out.

It hit. Kaigrowl went sliding away across the rock. He stopped to consider then used Howl, raising his attack.

Tai grabbed a Pokeball from his belt and enlarged it.

"Jade one more strike with a combination of Force Palm and Aura Sphere!" Tai called out.

Kaigrowl got hit and weak,but used 1 more tackle

Tai smiled tossing the Pokeball.

"Come on home! Pokemon!" Tai said, not thinking to check the Pokedex for this creature's name.

Jade returned to his side as the ball travelled through the air.

Kaigrowl sent the ball in the water and used a tackle

"Feisty thing eh? Let's see what The Pokedex says about you?" Tai said, aiming his device at the creature.

While his Pokedex loaded the Pokemon's page, Tai looked to Jade and nodded.

As you wish, Tai-san. as Jade leaped forward to deliver another Force Palm.

It hit and Kaigrowl fainted

Tai was a little sad that he lost such a rare Pokemon, but he couldn't let the thought get him down. He looked over to Cyndaquil and Spinarak who were still sparing.

"Alright! Let's get camp set up!" Tai said, jumping from the rock to the Riverbanks. Jade followed suit.

Tai looked around and decided the best spot to put the tent was near the rock formations that had appeared nearby. it was a short distance to the river but nothing major.

"Cyndaquil? You and Jade work together to gather firewood, while Spinarak and I pitch the tent." Tai said, turning to begin work.

A eevee (female, lvl 9) jumps into the clearing chasing after a odd looking jewel

Tai thought for moment, remembering the previous encounter with a wild pokemon. but Jade and Cyndaquil were gone, he'd have to make due with Spinarak.

"Hi there, Eevee. I'm Tai, this is my Spinarak...would you like our help getting that jewel?" Tai asked, his voice passive and calm.

"Eeeeeveeeee" says Eevee a bit breathless but not slowing down as the jewel keeps rolling away

Tai looks to Spinarak.

"Spinarak, use Spider Web!" Tai said thinking fast, Spider Web would prevent Eevee and the Jewel from escaping.

It catchs Eevee but the jewel breaks free and keeps rolling. "EEVEE" says Eevee in distress

((Check with Aura, A Gengar is making the jewel move))

(Right.)

Confused as to how the Jewel broke free, Tai decides to try his hand with the Aura. He unleashes a wave of his own aura outward that was powerful enough to cause a small wave in the nearby river.

"Forest around, show me more than meets the eye," Tai said, smiling as his aura light up the unseen in his mind. "A Gengar! No problem! Spinarak, use Poison Sting aimed at that Jewel!" Tai shouted.

Gengar is hit and appears laughing having not taken much damage. It was holding the jewel teasing Eevee

"Eevee!" says Eevee trying to get free to get at Gengar

Tai is furious now, but senses something Gengar probably can't sense.

"Spinarak, keep him distracted. Use Night Shade!" Tai said, nodding to the pokemon standing behind Gengar, Jade.

As you wish Tai-san Jade said telepathically to Tai only, before leaping towards the Gengar with Aura Sphere.

Gengar is taken by surprise and gets quite a bit of damage from the hit though it was still strong. It drops the jewel and flies away thinking no prank was worth getting hurt over

Eevee tries to get at the jewel but had worked itself in quite a mess with the web

Tai walks over to the Eevee and uses his Aura to remove the webbing as Jade brings the jewel over.

"Eevee, here you go. You'll be fine now. How about sticking around with us? We'll make sure no one else takes your jewel," Tai said, as Jade placed the jewel on the ground at Eevee's feet.
