A Start into Adventure (Part one)

Leo phoenix, a tall, brown haired 13 year old teenage was walking into the forest to start. He hopes to become a global pokemon master, and hoped to befriend many trainers and pokemon. he started walking into the forest seeing many pokemon either swinging or flying around him. He kept walking within the forest Quietly until his pokemon, pikachu, came out of his pokeball by itself.
"Pikachu, Whats wrong?"
Leo, had the ability to understand most pokemon through speech
"Pika pikachu Pi (I was bored inside my pokeball so i thought i would walk along with you)"
he kept walking with his friend until he heard a strange sound.

Behind some bushes was a gorgues lake and one pokemon's tail had been in the grass while drinking out of the lake. It had been a venipede. It scales were gleaming in the sun as it bowed to drink some water from the lake. It looked like it was fully relaxed and didn't heard the boy and his pikachu come up close to it. It just kept drinking and when it had enough it began to walk away.

Leo and his friend were surprised to see a beautiful lake like this on around here. As he walked near the lake he saw a movement near the tall grass. Pikachu, growled at the pokemon and got into fighting position. Leo looked closer and saw the Vinepede. Leo thought it either ignored him or it didn't notice him.
"hey Vinepede!" Leo said, trying to get its attention ,since it wasn'this style to surprise a pokemon with a battle. He was analyzing the vinepede carefully and knew it was a tough opponent.

the venepede looked up and went a bit back acting scared, as his head was raised and he was lookinng a bit angry. However he didn't attack just yet the pokemon just kept on staring at the trainer and pikachu, but the way it was standing marked that he wanted to protect the place with all his power. It was a rather agressive stand as he began to make a buzzing sound.

Leo looked at the Vinepede and knew that he was only protecting his territory. Which reminded him about Lopunny and how she protected her territory from other Pokemon and other trainers. He didn't want to capture a Pokemon against its will, unlike many of those inhumanly trainers who don't see how hard they work to keep a territory or make a family.
he knelt down and asked the vinepede, "Is it OK with if you duel with my pikachu, he's a bit experienced with battling and he wants to improve and become stronger. Is that ok with you?"

The venepide looked at the trainer with questioning eyes. He couldn't understand what the trainer in front of him saying, but he knew what he wanted. He wanted to battle against him. Venipede got ready and began to get ready while nodding towards  the trainer.

Leo stood up, alright. pikachu, ready?
Pikachu stood in battle position Pika! (Ready!)
alright , Pikachu use quick attack then iron tail!
Pikachu ran at the vinepede with surprising speed, then when it got close to its target pikachu used iron tail and slashed it aiming at the vinepede.
((reminder Leo can understand pokemon speech))

As the veniped could see the pikachu come closer it first let out a battle cry before using protect just in time before the iron tail hit the worm like pokemon. Then the end of the tail fromm venipede began to glow ad it ran towards the pikachu with suprising speed for such a heavy pokemon and jumped making a salto and then forcing his tale towards the small electric mouse pokemon trying to hit it.

Leo knew one hit from posion tail will put pikachu in grave danger, he reacted quick
Pikachu counter with iron tail and thundershock!
Pikachu used iron tail to block it and while their his was touching the vinepede's he delivered a powerful thundershock.

The venipede was happy that his attack hit as he did not suspect the thundershock as it hit him and he was electrified. At the moment the pokemon was paralyzed, but the pokemon could see the purple spot, which meant the pikachu was posioned. This was a good thinkg cause now he would be easier to defeat the pokemon.

pikachu was posioned from the posion however it didn't slow him down, but it did cause a expanding pain. pikachu would have to finish this fast if he wanted the pain to stop. leo knew that as well in all cases he would have to take him to a pokemon center, either won or loose.
Pikachu use thunder shock now, then iron tail at its antenna!
pikachu fired a powerful thunderbolt at the venipede, then pikachu slashed the venipede's head aiming for its antenna.

The venipede couldn't move due to the static as the small worm pokemon was paralyzed. The thundershock hit the pokemon and the same with the iron tail. The venipeded walked a bit further before falling towards the ground unconsious as sparks still jumped from his body from the paralysis.

leo saw the venipede fall unconscious which made him jump from happiness for winning his first wild battle, however he had to bring the two pokemon to the pokemon center as fast as possible. pikachu for the posion and venipede for his injuries. he hurried to the pokemon center since it wasn't far from where he was.
a few minutes later nurse joy gave back the venipede and leo's pikachu,
They are in good shape now said nurse joy
thanks nurse joy leo returned ikachu to his pokeball then knelt down to vinepede Are you alright leo asked the vinepede

The venipede looked a bit guilty as it couldn't stop looking at the pokeball from pikachu. He was obviously pretty worried about pikachu. It nodded when it heard if he was ok. He then climbed on his leg to the pokeball asking to let the pikachu out.

Leo understood what the pokemon wanted, he let out his pikachu who turned out to be fine after nurse joy's checked him up. Leo got a bit dizzy for some reason. he looked at pikachu and said, hey pikachu go play with vinepede outside alright.
pikachu agreed and led vinepede out side.
Leo however dizziness increased, he then sat on a chair. the dizziness turned into a headache, leo closed his eyes in pain and when he opened them, he couldn't believe what he saw. buildings zooming by him then he then saw a dozen of dark balls zooming by him missing. he knew what he was seeing it happened to him before a pokemon was in huge trouble. Leo had an ability to see what a pokemon sees only if it is in great danger, how he doesn't know. when he realized what was going on on of the dark balls hit him/pokemon causing great pain to him. as he saw the ground coming towards him he woke up seeng nurse joy and her audino and the two Pokemon looking at him in worry.
Nurse joy looked at him and asked Are you alright? what happeded
Leo looked at nurse joy and sat up yea i'm alright.
leo stood up and looked at his pokemon and its friend, hey vinepede do you want to come with me?
Leo knew whatever happened before needed more than just pikachu, he would need a whole team.

The venepede was looking with a very worried expression on his face. The pokemon was glad that his trainer was ok. He then listened carefully and he made a very happy bug sound meaning the pokemon would like to go with leo and pikachu. The venipede was a strong pokemon for his type so Leo had been pretty lucky.

Leo took out a pokeball and tossed it to vinepede, the pokemon turned into energy and entered the pokeball. the pokeball fell to the ground and moved left to right then stopped. Leo caught his first pokemon, and got a new friend. however that  sighting didn't leave his mind he had a few minutes ago didn't leave him mind. and felt he would need some help from his new friend, and other new ones he is going to meet. but that pokemon he saw wasn't a normal one, from his knowledge no pokemon he knows can go at that speed. this would need some research, time to meet with Professor Juniper.
Leo called his pikachu which jumped on his shoulder, Hang on tight bud
Leo started running at a very fast pace, since he lived a good portion of his life as a "jungle boy" he is physically fit.
as the air blew past him he wondered, where will this search
end to?
