Lost in the woods...the ever burning woods...nowhere to run. Suddenly, a figure in the smoke...holding an apple. That apple...the crisp, red color...it brought eternal happiness. But...at what cost?

Leo had been the first to get onto the ship, and the last to come off. He didn't like the attention of others much, but he decided that he'd have to...get along...with others if he was to succeed here. He only hoped that his teammates could handle someone with his...condition. Licking his lips hungrily, he bit down on his tongue. No...he couldn't have it end up like the others...not like before...

After the speech was over, he went outside to get some fresh air, and to clear his mind. His weapon, Backburner, was strapped on loosely, moving around as he walked. Students were gathering around, talking about their teams already, trying to find their "match". If only they knew how pointless it all was...whatever, his own opinions didn't have much effect at the moment, he'd have to gain power for that. Sitting on a bench in the courtyard, he flicked his lighter on and off, closing his eyes and focusing on the mesmerizing sound of metal hitting metal and the sharp spark of fire.

Could Leo even find a teammate? Only time would tell...

Miles had slept through the night following his training and then woke up the next morning. In said morning he polished his Avian Scythes and Diamond Chain once more as, weapon maintenance was a big part of owning them.

Miles then left the sleeping quarters and headed to the hill casually where he took his place on a launch platform and crossed his arms looking to the others who were there and waiting to get started with the Initiation Test.

((OOC: This is five minutes before the test/event/whatever it is))

Leo heard a small tone and felt a vibration on his leg, and reaching in his pocket, he found his cell, which was giving him an alert that he was almost late for his first event. "Ack! Alright, I still have...five minutes?! Crap!!" He jumped from his seat and looked around, trying to find the path that led to the area he was supposed to be. When he found it, he started to sprint quickly past other students, holding his weapon with his hand so it wouldn't jump around as he ran.

After a few minutes of sprinting, he made it to the launch pads, almost completely out of breath. Leo noticed that most of the students were actually on time and ready for launch. He kept his head down as he moved to one of the open launch pads, keeping his eyes focused on the instructors. If there was ever a time where he wished he was invisible, this was the time.

Apollo woke up the next morning as if he was never asleep last night even though he did, his morning was quite with out Iris constantly teasing him, or getting embarrassed over her accidental comments about some guy...he never truly listened to her, he had no interest of her teasing or what guys she found cute even though she would end up breaking their hearts and then deny ever liking them. he sighed, he would never admit it but he enjoyed her company it reminded him that he wasn't alone and would be somebody always their to have his back and he already knew that she knew that he would have he back...he smirked even though he was trying to make a normal smile 'not many people are able to find a like that.' he got up from his empty breakfast plates and made his way to the emerald hill ready for anything 'to think she wasted her time with me.' he was hoping to get there early.

Iris ran around the campus looking for Apollo, they had gotten separated after they left the ship after a group of boys and girls (who kept giving her evil looks) swept her away and "hung out" with her until she was able to get away after threating to beat them all up with the batzooka three times her size she hand deactivated on he back (same place where ruby keeps her scythe). the only good thing she found out was a rumour of how the entrance examination works of being the first person you meet n the forest is your partner for the entirety of your school life there. "Damn it Apollo," she spoke while running quite fast for somebody who had a weapon that literally weighed tons "why do you have to make it so hard to keep my side of the promise."

(does any body want to be Apollo's partner, I think it would work better story wise if the two got different partners but ended up on the same team.)

((Sorry guys and gools, I had stuff to do and I was mixed up, I`m back though))

Grace was walking around the campus looking for Lie, she wanted to fight him again. She sort of felt proud of herself for making him at least take out one gun, she then thought about it for a minute. "Would we be a good team? She hit herself and blushed, she shook her head and covered her face. BUMP! Grace had smacked into someone and flew to the ground. She helped him up and ran away yelling sorry. She then stopped far away and remembered the test was today! "Holy Neptune!" She began to run to the meeting spot.

( So is Grace the child of Nora Valkyrie?)

Lie noticed that Grace had been the last to arrive. He chuckled but was interrupted by Ozpin giving his usual speech about the initiation.Just then Shadow who was to his left was launched from his pad. Lie took out his guns and prepared himself for launch. Just then he was flung from his pad and he went speeding towards the mountain. Lie could see small gaps in it just big enough to fit a single person through. He glided gracefully through of them rolling to his feet while pointing his guns to his left and right.

Shadow used his gun to fire off a few bullets into the dark hole. He then landed by flipping into the hole. He pointed his gun around the dimly lit cave system. Shadow wandered around looking for a partner.

Leo had a plan in his mind even before he was launched, "See you on the battlefield, guys." He pushed himself off with a little more force, adding to that of the launch pad, and went soaring straight towards the mountain, aiming for a ledge just below a small gap in the mountain. Grinning to himself, he unhooked his flamethrower and removed the safety. Positioning it correctly and pressed the trigger, a large burst of flames came from it, too high up to hit any of the trees that he was passing. The force of them slowed his descent, and he rolled onto the ledge, almost smashing into the cliff face before he stopped himself, "Well, that was a risky maneuver. It was fun though, heh."

Grinning to himself, Leo entered the gap in the mountain, expecting to get lost in the confusion.

(once again does anybody want to be Apollo's partner I think it would work better in the story, if they got different partners but ended up on the same team.)

Apollo was the first one to arrive out of the students he stood there nobody noticing him, Iris was the second last to arrive, she kept trying to talk to him but had to stop her self before she could even begin because each time she tried Professor Ozpin would glare at her as a warning. he was catapulted into the air towards the mountain. as he free fell he focused on his centre of gravity to position himself as if he was standing relaxed like he was standing before he was catapulted into the air, he began to descend earlier than the others due to the fact that he had focused his centre of gravity and was not as aerodynamic. once he was low enough he landed on a tree branch an ran trying not to lose velocity. he ended up at the foot of the mountain where he found a cave and entered.

Iris was launch a few seconds after the person standing next to Apollo, she had lost track of him as he flew through the air. she was now soaring through the air heading to words the peak. she took out her batzooka in bat form, spun and swung it using its weight and momentum to send her downwards. she ended up on a ledge that was cracking after she landed on it from there she ran into the a cave in front of her, which caved her in blocking of that exit. she charged her bat with a fire dust crystal and used it like a torch as she explored onwards hoping to find Apollo before somebody else did.

Artimas giggled as she was luanched through the air. 'Wow I can see the whole school' she thought as she reached her peak speed and began her descent towards the mountain. She landed on a ledge and giggled. "I hope I meet someone cute" she said before she skipped into the cave.

Leo looked behind him as he heard someone(Artemis) land on the ledge he had just been on. Pulling out his lighter and flicking the switch, he illuminated part of the cave. When he looked to the entrance, he noticed a girl with silver hair bounce into the cave happily, saying something about, "Finding...cute?" What a strange girl, but she was probably the only person he'd meet in this cave system, so he decided to take a risk. Holding up his lighter, he walked over to the girl, trying to talk to her without having her get startled and shoot him. "H-hey, you're a student too, right? Well, we're supposed to get through this cave together, so...do you want to team up with me?" Leo nervously looked to the ground, trying not to make eye contact.

Artimas looked at the boy."But your not cute " she said disappointedly. "But okay, only until we meet some cute boys". And with that she started to skip into the dark cave.

Leo snarled a bit, but mostly ignored the comment, "Yeah, anyways...do you know which way we're going?" Of all the people to get stuck with, he had to go with the boy-obsessed girl. Just his luck, he supposed. He used his lighter to lead the way as they walked through the dark cave. Oh, how he wanted to brighten up the entire mountain with fire, and get rid of this horrid cold feeling he had...but that'd probably hurt the other students, which was a big no in his book. Leo sneezed once, "Aachoo!! Uuh..sorry, I'm not used to the cold.." Just then he heard a large skitskitskitskit sound coming from underneath them, almost like a giant earthworm digging its way up.

Lie was wandering the mountain aimlessly. He had no idea where to go. Soon enough he saw a cave painting depicting a clue of some sorts as to where the relics are. He followed the clue to where a grand room stood with gold pillars. Lie was amazed by it. Suddenly he heard a screech that sounded like a giant spider was coming. Lie then noticed a giant web at the centre of the room. He figured he must be in the spiders lair. He readied himself for a fight.

Shadow propped his sword on his back and continued walking through the mountain. Suddenly he saw a bright orange light a small distance away. He walked towards it and noticed it was a lighter that was causing the light. But what he saw was a girl and a guy. He greeted them then asked if he could join them until he finds his partner.

((He's using his lighter, not his flamethrower :P that'd look pretty silly XD))

Artimas imeadiantly began to swoon at the large muscular boy. "I'll be your partner!"she said staring at hia muscles. She smiled widely at the boy.

" Sorry but from what I can see you and that guy are partners. Sorry but I cannot be your partner " Shadow said. He then,behind her back, winked at Leo meaning ' I know you kinda like this girl so this is my way of helping you out '. However that moment was interrupted as a giant earthworm with razor sharp teeth burst through the ground. Shadow took his sword from his back and transformed it into its gun form. He then ran around the worm firing bullets at different points on its body. However the earthworm flung him up into the air with the intention of eating him. In midair Shadow shot some bullets into the worms mouth making it flinch in pain as He slid along its body before flying up into the air again, transforming his gun into sword form again and burying its edge into the worm head.

Despite Shadow's impaling, it simply continued to fight, attempting to throw Shadow off it's back. Leo jumped into action, unhooking his flamethrower again and transforming it into a mace, with the head being on fire, "Get out of the way, the only way to kill this thing is to burn it up completely!" He gave Shadow some time to get away, then ran at the earthworm creature, smashing its head into the ceiling as it tried to bite at him. Then he jumped above it and yelled, "Move out of the way, this is gonna be a big blaze!!" Then transformed the mace back into a flamethrower, pulling the trigger once he saw that they were out of the way. The worm was completely covered in flame, and burned into a pile of gooey ashes.

Shadow dived out of the way quickly. He then transformed his sword back into gun form just in case the fire had not done it. However when the ash cloud ceased there was nothing left of the worm except a large pile of ash. Shadow chuckled. He then asked again the same question.

Miles had been the last one to be launched at the mountain from his launch pad however, he knew just what to do; taking his Avian Scythes from his back and swinging them in the air in a helicopter-like motion before, performing a front flip and digging them into the side of the mountain dropping down with them in his hands joint by the diamond chain. Miles then, entered into the mountain.

Miles had been walking through the cave for mere minutes before he found himself face to face with 5 rather large and shadowy monsters; not that it phased him however, what did irritate him was being watched knowing any initiation they'd have to keep a close eye on you and that meant camera's so, Miles looked around with quick speed before, locating the camera and firing a quick blast at it from his Avian Scythes' handles destroying it and sending the signal on Ozpin's tablet-like device dead for him.

Miles then, returned his view to the monsters and said
"So, then where were we, oh yeah you were about to leave and i'll be the one to escort you out.. Permanently"
with that he took his scythes and the chain and swung it before, performing a back-flip and whilst upside down thrusting one of the Scythes at a monster the Scythe slicing clean through it as, he landed pulling the chain and sending the hooked monster flying into another one the hooked one disappearing as, he burst into dust. Miles then, performed a powerful roundhouse kick to the `rib-cage` area of the monster even though he wasn't sure they had ribs. Miles watching it stumble as, he threw himself onto it's back aiming the handles of his Scythes at the monster's head and putting blasts through the back of it causing, the second to burst as well.

Next Miles, looked to the other three and swung his Avian Scythes in a gyroscopic motion slicing through their abdomens and then, cutting them in half as, he ran at them sending a punch to the first, a roundhouse kick to the second and corkscrew kick to the third knocking the upper half of their bodies off of the bottom half and causing them all to burst into dust leaving, Miles standing alone in the centre of a large room. It was then that Miles sheathed his Avian Scythes into their sheathes on his back and progressed on through the mountain calmly and alone in search of his `Partner` not quite fully aware as, to who it will be but, the surprise itself is part of the fun as, is not knowing the future. Miles continuing on through the mountainous corridors.

(Miles will meet Lie in a minute then once he's fought the Spider, ok Cyrus? so, no-one else, `bump into him`)

Suddenly a giant spider burst through the wall sending rock everywhere. Lie decided to make the most of it and so jumped up into the air, kicking a large boulder at the spider. It stumbled up contact but was more annoyed than injured. It then charged at Lie with sharp claws. When the spider was close Lie flipped over it shooting it in several points on its back. He then jammed the blades into the spiders back. Taking out the blade he sprinted towards the spiders front again thrusting the blades into its eyes thereby blinding it. He then flipped over it landing on his feet perfectly. Finally he soared towards the blinded spider and used his aura to blow it's head off. His pistols spun in midair but Ren caught them easily. He then withdrew them wiping his arms and shoulders. Just then he saw a diamond scythe out of the corner of his eye.
