"Hahaha!" Boss laughed evilly as he stood on one end of the arena. He had brought one of his executives with him to battle and test progress. Planning on fighting his other executives soon, Boss focused on his current battle, the one with Lute. She was the executive who was, well, the technician, mostly. She was an executive nonetheless and thus her abilities to battle must be good else she is not worthy of the title.
Deciding to test the idiot who used a rope to climb the Liberty Tower, Boss called out his Gabite to the stadium. In his eyes, Gabite was currently the weakest Pokemon he owned. However, he loved it as much as he did the others, namely a Gyarados and an abnormally large Lairon, that he evolved only recently.
"Gabite, I hope you're ready. Lute, you better be."

"I'm down for whatever." Lycia said calmly, headphones over her ears. She pulled them down to her neck as she helped Lycan down from her shoulder. Lycan was her strongest, and the one she believed could go the farthest. She crouched down and spoke to him, petting him on the top of his head.
"You got this Ly. Don't get intimidated. He's just another Pokemon. But you're special. Now get out there." Lycia said. Lycan nodded and went into the stadium. "You can take the first move Boss, I guess." She said to him, calling from across the stadium.

"Mistake number one!" Boss rolled his eyes and ordered for his Gabite to use Sandstorm. Doing as told, Gabite used Sandstorm! Letting out a ear-splitting roar, Gabite was quickly surrounded by bits of sand that spun around it rapidly over and over and within a few seconds kicked up a genuine sand storm around Gabite. In another roar, Gabite sent the pieces of sand scattering everywhere, filling the arena with the sandstorm that inflicted pain on anyone who got hit. The Pokemon's ability Sand Veil now activated, increasing its evasion and thus allowing it to dodge moves much more easily.

Lycan morphed into a Misdreavus, thanks to his ability, and floated around. He took a little damaged from the storm, but ignored it as the sandstorm helped cover his transformation. "Ah shaddup you old fart." Lycia replied. She knew he wasn't 'inherently' old, but his personality made her refer to him as old.
She commanded Ly to use Extrasensory, which he complied with. His eyes glowed gold and a sort of sphere of gold filled with golden rings and rainbow colored energy expanded out around him and rammed into the Gabite.

"Tch." Being the mature one here, Boss simply despised the stupid, blunt insult and focused on the battle. Seeing "Misdreavus" using a move, he prepared to order Gabite to do something. Looking closely, he soon saw what was coming. A ball of psychic energy made its way towards his "dragon". Thankfully, Gabite's ability - Sand Veil - helped it avoid the attack with much effort. As it was psychic, it was definitely hard to dodge but leaping at the last second, Gabite managed to escape without a scratch, landing a few feet away and staring up at its foe while awaiting orders.
"Iron Head."
Boss ordered and just like that, Gabite rushed at the supposed Misdreavus swiftly and upon reaching distance, leaped up and with a glowing head attempted to smash the Pokemon hard.

"Faint Attack." Lycia commanded. Lycan nodded thoroughly as he jumped up from his current area, going toward Gabite, and then turning off to the right and disappearing from Gabite's sight. It then could be seen above the Gabite, and attempted to slam itself down into the other Pokemon's back. Lycia simply smiled.
