Yuki's search for a friend and his adventure begins?

Yuki sighed as his sister continuosly talked on and on and on from the Xtranseiver she gave him only a month ago. He had arrived to Rosemary City by bike. He was now walking around the city with his bike. Lin, a male Spheal, was sitting comfortably in the bike's basket not worrying about a thing, taking in the sights around them eagerly. Yuki's parents were rather normal, and he thought it was time to start on his own journey, mainly to get away from his sister and to have an adventure.

He came to the city to find a travel buddy, knowing he'd end up being lonely if he traveled alone throughout his whole journey, even though he'd have his pokemon he'd end up needing human company every now and then.

andMia ran through the city carelessly not caring where she went. As she ran her pokemon sat on her shoulders. Litwick smiled as she bounced on the the trainers shoulder. . Mia made a sharp turn and almost ran right into Yuki. "Hey "she yelled stopping.

"You should be careful and watch your speed so you don't run into people like you almost just did." Yuki said, sweat dropping like most did in animes in these types of situations. "I'm Yuki Shido, by the way." he added in greeting.

"Yuyu? Who's that-" his sister cooed, still on the Xtranseiver. Yuki quickly hung up, not sure why he didn't do that earlier. Lin gave a small cry of his species name in greeting. The Spheal loved to meet new people and pokemon.

"Well maybe you should pay attention instead of talking on a Xtranseiver!" she growled. "The name is Mia""she added. . Mia tapped her foot on the ground waiting for the man to move or at least apologize.

"Er, sorry Mia. Though you make a valid point." Yuki said, sweat dropping once more as he moved out of her path. "Are you a new trainer too?" he asked, blue-green eyes full of curiousity. If the other was a new trainer like him then maybe he could become friends with her and she could join him on his travels? Lin seemed confused by the two's actions and gave a happy cry of "Sphea!", thinking that his seventeen year old trainer and Mia were already friends.

Mia nodded. "Yes I am" she said. "Why do you ask". Mia gave the boy a curious look. She was curious about why he asked her this. Mia didn't like to be questioned. 'Wait what if he wants to go on an adventure together' she thought. Mia waited for a reply.

"I was curious. Do you...want to travel together?" He asked curiously, sure he knew that they just met, but he needed a friend to travel with since most of his friends back home weren't interested in Pokemon battling and the like.

Mia thought about all of the possibilities. "Hmmm"" she said. "Sure" she said. " But we need to get to the next town, I want to find a gym and challenge them" she said.

"Alright then, let's go." Yuki said with a grin, happy to have found someone to travel with. He honestly didn't think that she'd agree so fast but didn't mind. Lin gave a happy squee before he hopped out of the blue bikes basket and went along towards route 1.

"Lin!..." Yuki called out to the overly excited Spheal before he was out of earshot. "He won't go too far." Yuki mumbled as he began to head for the route to their next destination, waiting for Mia to follow.

Mia followed suitly before stoping. "I am going to do so training" she called before heading for a clearing in view.

"Okay." Yuki responded as he put the foldable bike in his bag. ' Training would be a good idea...' the pale teen thought as he picked up Lin, who had been waiting for the two near a tree, he then search for a place to train. They wandered for a bit before Lin began to squirm in his arms Yuki put the water/ice type down.

Lin scurried along before stopping at a much smaller clearing a small ways away from Mia. Thick trees surounded the space, and one lone boulder sat near one of the trees near the far back of the clearing, it was perect for training.

After training Litwick, Mia went to find Yuki. When she came upon the clearing he was in she watched him train.

Yuki was glad with the training, they didn't have that many moves to work on, but Lin showed progress and he was happy with it. Lin looked up at Yuki with his infamous puppy dog eyes. Yuki knew what Lin wanted, and sighed, digging in his pocket for an Oran berry, his last treat for Lin until he could find some more. Lin happily ate it, knowing that he could always get away with getting a treat for doing good every now and then. "We should find Mia, she's probably done training." he said thoughtfully, picking Lin up and turning to see Mia standing at the clearing's entrance. "Well, seems like you found us instead." he grinned.

"Yeah so lets get a move on and from what I heard the first gym is in Moonlight City"she said walking off towards their destination, not looking back to see if he was keeping up. She wanted to beat to get tp the next city as fast as possible.

He followed, Lin in his arms looking eager to see new things, when they came to Rosemary City the water and ice type didn't get much of a chance to see the sights because of how fast they were going on Yuki's bike. "Spheal!" he said excitedly.

Mia smiled as she reached Moonlight city. " Wow" she said to all of the massive buildings. " Well first I want to go to the pokemon center here" she said walking around.

(I basically meant when they were going to Rosemary city from Mizu Town that Lin didn't get the chance to see any sights from how fast Yuki was going. He really waned to get awy from his sister, who called him when he got halfway there. I really didn't feel like being specific. Sorry for confusing you. XD)

"Alright. I'll look around for a bit while you do that." the blue-green eyed trainer said. Lin looked around excitedly, glad to finally get to see some sights. Ever since Taima, Yuki's older sister delivered him to his trainer, Yuki's parents didn't want him to leave the town unless he trained really hard and became stronger. And if he tried to leave his sister would usually track him down and drag him back into town. Yuki loved Mizu Town and all, but he wanted to do something fun for once in his life.
