The Music Lover's Firey Hot Beginning! (I'm new to Pokemon RPing, but here it goes!)

Light filtered in throught the blinds of a dark room in a small house in the quiet town of Pallet in the Kanto region, a grunt could be heard from a lump of sheets as the glint of silver could be seen as well as a mop of brown and red hair. A small orange lizard pokemon with blue eyes and a flame at the end of it's tail crawled on the bed, jumping on the lump underneath the mess of covers excitedly with and excited chirp of "Charmander!"

"Ugh, what Charmel?" a voice groaned as the lump shifted slightly, the covers moving to reveal a boy of fifteen, tired oceanic blue eyes staring up at the starter who pointed to the calender across the dully lit room.

The boy blinked, then squinted at the red circle marked on the calender before slowly moving towards the alarm clock sitting on the bedside table.

"Oh! I almost forgot! Let's get goin' before we're late!" the boy exclaimed, jumping out of bed and hurried to get dressed, his brown and red hair messy with bed head as his brows nit together, the left one sporting a silver ring peircing as well as his right ear.

After getting dressed in a green shirt, gray jeans, and black sneakers, the boy grabbed a guitar case that leaned against the wall near the door, as well as his badge case and a backpack. Charmel the Charmander followed after his trainer as he ran downstairs and made some toast before leaving the house hastily after giving his dad a quick bro hug, leaving the door wide open. Charmel sighed as he struggled to catch up.

Both trainer and Pokemon were winded once they made it to Professor Oak's lab atop the hill. The blue eyed boy wondered if he'd just play today instead of singing along like usual, espically now, as he tried to cath his breath.

Charmel walked up to the door and knocked a tiny paw on it, realizing that it was open he walked inside, earning a groan from his trainer.

"Charmel, it's rude! Ugh, is anyone here? Professor Oak? I came to play for some of the Pokemon! It's Kevin!" he called as he poked his head in the door to see his starter waiting expectedly in front of a room.

"Ah, Hello Kevin and Charmel! I'm in here tending to these Pokemon, I'll be out in a second." came the Professor's reply from the room Charmel waited in front of. After a bit of scuffling around Prof. Oak appeared before the other and smiled.

"Today shall be a little different, instead of you playing for the Pokemon I want you to have this here PokeDex and start your journey today instead of tomorrow. You've been holding off your journey for a week and if you keep doing it you won't be able to go on and have a life changing adventure." Prof. Oak sighed as he handed Kevin a PokeDex.

Kevin smiled and nodded, thanking the professor before placing Charmel on his shoulder then reluctantly leaving the lab. He closed the door behind him and stared at the PokeDex silently before descending the hill, his smile growing wider as he did.

"If I'm not mistaken....the first town is Viridian, then Pewter..." he mummbled looking at the map installed in the PokeDex. "Ok then, onward to Viridian!" Kevin declared with a grin before heading off in the direction the map displayed.
