The best coordinater out there (open)

"Are you ready Dratini? Today is the first step to our final goal." Dratini stopped spinning in the air to look down at Reta. "Tch, lets hurry up and get out of this crummy town and head north" Reta looked around in disgust before taking a pokeball off his belt and aiming it at Dratini. He pressed the trigger releasing a red beam of lightning onto the Pokemon and sucking him into the confines of the Pokeball. Reta headed for the west side of town towards route 104, petal burg woods and in the end, his first competition.

Antonio appeared from supposedly out of nowhere having used Teleport saying to Harmony
"Nice job, smooth landing"
Harmony smiling and pirouetting before noticing Reta pointing him out to Antonio, Antonio then noticed him
"Oh hey, the names Antonio"
Antonio being rather straightforward,
"And this is Riley and Harmony"
indicating to his two pokemon as he stood there waiting for Reta to say or do something.

Meanwhile, while Reta was heading his way out of the city, another person was as well, and they were heading in the same direction as Reta as well. The person heading out of Petalburg was what appeared to be a very beautiful teenage girl, wearing a tight black shirt that showed off the midriff, black and tight bicycle shorts, black sleeves that the person wore over their forearms and thigh-high boots. Very pale, light blue hair that cascaded down to their knees like a waterfall. A Torchic scuttled off beside the person as the two of them left Petalburg, and just happened to bump into Reta and Antonio.

"Ah, greetings to you both. My name is Hana Zakari and this is companion Blaze" the person said to the two of them as they curtsied politely.

"Tch, thats all fine and dandy but I have no time to waste for people as undefined as yourselves. I'm to busy becoming the best coordinator in the world." With that Reta walked around the two giving Anthony a pat on the back as he continued for the town exit.

"Charming"
Antonio said
"Well believe or not we're doing the same sort of thing so, I might as well tag along"
he followed up then, moving to Reta's side without even formally asking walking along with him, Riley on his right shoulder and Harmony dancing along at his side.

The figure named Hana expertly acted like it didn't affect him, but in his mind, he felt a spike of anger take over him at Reta's response. However, he felt that now wasn't the time for a Battle. Besides, Antonio and Reta were both heading in the same direction as himself, so he might as well join them on their travels right now. "Coordinators, eh? Interesting. I'm planning on becoming a highly respected Pokemon Trainer" he said to them as he followed after them, his Torchic Blaze easily keeping stride with him as it calmly followed after his trainer.

Reta continued his leisurely walk not checking if they were still with him or not. "I don't mind where you go as long as you don't get in my way and you can take care of yourself." Reta reached the edge of town showing the route heading north and just beyond it was Petalburg forest poking its tall tree's just into sight. "By the way, have you heard of cloth's before girl?"

Antonio nodded
"Ok?"
he then continued walking along as they noticed Petalburg Forest, he next said
"And who are you to say anything about what other people choose to wear?"
protecting Hana from Reta's spiteful comment.

Hana expertly pasted an easy-going smile on his face at Reta's comment, though in his mind he got just a little more irritated by Reta's attitude. The fact that Antonio was defending him helped him let go of the irritation, but it was still there. However, he was used to acting so he was able to keep the irritation from showing at all. "I like wearing things like this, Reta-San" he said to the Coordinator with a patient smile on his face.

Reta slowed his pace until he stopped, he turned on his heels to face the other two behind him, Antonio had stuck up for the girl, Hana and even challenged him. This adventure was going to be a lot funner than he thought previously. "Reta, Reta Riori nice to meet you." Reta jerked his hand in the direction of Antonio expecting a shake.

Antonio smiled he figured sticking up for Hana would work though it came naturally to him, shaking Reta's hand,
"Right back at you"
he said, grinning
"You should still, be more polite"
standing around unsure as to whether or not to move on towards the Petalburg Forest.

Hana watched the two exchange words with a patient expression, though inwardly he was amused by the two interacting with each other. Blaze was disinterested in the exchange, looking far more interested in the forest and what opponents he would find in there. Hana was interested in it as well, looking a bit excited over the thought of entering Petalburg Forest.

Reta continued his melancholy walk towards the forest throwing words behind him. "So where are the two of you headed? I think I can start my Coordinating in Rustbro, have you started your Coordinating yet Antonio? and what about you Hana? Where are you headed?" He said the names with slight criticism in his voice trying his hardest to be friendly. He raised his head noticing that the forest was now right in front of them.

Antonio smiled
"I've been training for a long time and watched a whole load to pick up some tips but, this'll be my first contest"
he said,
"Anyway if there's a contest in Rustboro then I guess that's where i'm headed"
he then entered the forest, looking around and smiling at the many different sights.

Hana turned to Reta and smiled at him in a well-practiced good-natured manner, acting as if he didn't notice the unfriendly way he said his and Antonio's names. "I'm off to battle the Rustboro Gym Leader. First thing I wanna do though is have Blaze learn more moves and Level Up before I do so" he said to the two of them in an informative manner, not at all concerned about telling them his plan of action. It's not like it would hold him back in anyway.

"If training is what you need we should do a practice battle once we get out of this Forest" Reta had a slight smirk hardly being able to contain the anticipation he had for his victory over the girl. Win, earn respect, become better then everyone. His own personal motto. He followed Antonio into the forest the smell of pine and the deep green forest was quite a sight to behold. The large canopy above them let little sunlight in and made a dank almost moldy smell to the place, aside from that multiple Pokemon wandered through the forest, running into bushes trying not to be seen by possible predator, or pray.

Antonio smiled at the cockiness in Reta's voice,
"Sounds like it could be fun to watch of course if you're as good as you say you are I'll probably be facing you in the Contest"
he then looked at Harmony and Riley and smiled once more. He'd show this kid how it's done and hopefully get him to finally show some respect for others.

Hana quietly followed behind the two of them, preferring to let comfortable silence befall the two. He was far more focused on his surroundings, preparing to be jumped at any time. His trusty Torchic continued to confidently follow after him, ready to jump in and attack any poor, unfortunate Pokemon that got in his way.

(I'm not quite sure how I'm supposed to pick which Pokemon is encountered)
R: "How far back do you think this forest goes?" He looked at the two for a bit before starting to walk deeper into the forest before he heard a rustling in the bushes.

S: A wild Shroomish jumped out of a bush. It ran towards Hana's Torchic releasing poisonous seeds from its head.

Hana saw the Shroomish head towards them. Excited at the chance of getting into an actual battle, he quickly gave the order for his Torchic to start his attack. "Blaze, move out of the way of the Poison Powder. Then use Focus Energy and Ember on that Shroomish" Hana ordered his Torchic, causing Blaze to dive out of the way of the poison. A bright enveloped him and he quickly unleashed a Crit-Enhanced Ember upon the Shroomish.

S: The shroomish took the hit directly, it was a critical hit and super effective. The Shroomish barely stumbled onto its feet part of its mushroom body burnt black. It looked at the Torchic and released a yellow spore from its head. The Shroomish had used a Stun Spore attack!

R: Huh, this girl is pretty skilled at fights. "Heh, I'd suggest not getting hit by that." He said the words slightly robustly seeing if he could distract the girl from her fight.

"Blaze, use Swords Dance, use the increased strength in your body to jump over the cloud and unleash a Night Slash" Hana ordered his trusty Torchic, causing the Pokemon to let out an excited chirp as it unleashed Swords Dance. Then, with the Speed Boost ability kicking in, Blaze ran at increased speeds and used the improved strength in his small body to propel himself over the cloud of paralyzing powder and and launched the devastating Dark-Type move upon the Shroomish.

(Remember you cant dodge every attack or decide if it hits :P)
S: The shroomish took the blow sending it crashing to the ground fainted (I put the Shroomish at about lvl 9 which would give your torchic 9/12 EXP to lvl 13)

R: Reta watched the battle with slight amusement. "Heh, good job you burnt a mushroom" Reta sent out the congratulation with much sarcasm in his voice. "Now lets hurry up and get out of this forest before the spores get to your head." With that Reta continued his walking at a slightly brisker pace than before heading in the direction that he hopped the exit was in.

Robby stepped out from in between the trees, slightly impressed. "That was some attack. Poor Shroomish... I'm Robby, by the way. This is Hercules." His Heracross bowed. "Where are you guys - and lady - headed?"

Reta looked over at Robby "Here we go again, are you another straggler looking for a group?" Reta rolled his eyes at the boy and his Heracross. "So whats your goal? Plan on being a great Pokemon trainer, oh or are we going to have another amazing all powerful coordinator joining us?" Reta let out a sigh showing that he had given up. "Do you know how to get out of this forest?"
