Personality: Dan has matured a little bit since his teenage years, but not by much. Now being an adult, and a father, he has learned more responsibility and passion, but can still be a little crazy as he was. He's not as arrogant, but he will always rush to make sure things are the way they should be. He is serious when it comes to battles, but still has his clumsy moments. He loves his family, and cares deeply about his friends and Pokemon. He is constantly angered by memories of the bad times of his past and the thoughts about his aura power. He sometimes gives up on wanting to use his Aura, but wants it desperatley at certain times. One thing certain about him: He'll never stop remembering the good times he had with his crew while searching for the Forge, years ago.                                                                                                                  

History: Dan is the son of a man named Balthazar, who was once an executive of Team Rocket. Before Giovanni took over as Leader, Balthazar and Giovanni were Partners in a project to find an ancient sky palace that could be used as a weapon, known as the Forge. Eventually as his son was born, he saw that what he was doing was wrong and had second thoughts. Then, during an authority bust on a Rocket laboratory building led by Pokemon Rangers, Balthazar was willing to turn himself and other Rocket secrets in, but Giovanni, wanting to take a higher position in Team Rocket, lit the building on fire. Balthazar sacrificed himself by holding the building on to allow all the innocent lives to escape, and was killed in the wreck. Professor Oak told Dan's mother to take the infant Dan to an orphanage in Vermillion City called The Refuge, in fear that Team Rocket would be after him. She did so, and then fled to an unknown destination without a trace. Dan grew up in the Refuge, raised by many caretakers who have come and gone over the years. He became very close with his other comrads who have also been orphaned, or homeless. All Dan was told about his past was that his Parents were killed in a wildfire started by Team Rocket. Because of that, Dan forever hated Team Rocket, wanting to beat them for good.
15 years after he was put in the refuge, a Group of Pokemon Rangers made a visit to the shelter, but Team Rocket stormed the place to kidnap a girl who the rangers were protecting. Dan escaped the invasion with the help of a Ranger named Cale. Cale and Dan fled to an island in the Orange Islands, and the girl named Sapphire who the rockets targeted was also lost there. They rescued her from a gang with the help of a street girl named Leaf and her talking Mightyena friend. The group escaped the Island past Team Rocket with the help of a Mercenary named Canderous in a prototype Aircraft called the Unfezant IV. Dan and Sapphire came to Palet Town where Dan met Prof. Oak and became a Pokemon trainer. However, he quickly found out about the Forge, and was asked by Oak to find it. Dan, Sapphire, and the rest of the group formed a Team to find the mystery of the Forge. They made new friends along the way, including Mace the Hermit, Ailene the Phsycic, and a Talking Kabutops, and found all the maps scattered around Kanto to the sky were the Forge was. On the way, Dan discovered that he has some sort of Power in him. He found it to be aura power, and tried to train in mastering it. He looked like he could unleash great power, but it was too rough for him, and he gave up. Giovanni kidnapped Sapphire and brainwashed her into being his apprentice, then beat the group to the forge and took control. Dan and the group, as well as other trainers, stormed the Forge. He and his Pokemon went straight for Giovanni in the heart, but had one obstacle in his way: Sapphire, bent on stopping him in his tracks. The two battled, but she couldn't bring herself to destroy him, because she really loved him. When Dan confessed that he loved her, it saved her from Giovanni's influence and brought her back to his side. While Sapphire used the main weapon to weaken the defense system, and all the trainers on ground attacked from below, Dan confronted Giovanni but couldn't beat his main Pokemon: Mewtwo. But a pack of Legendary Pokemon led by Entei, Raikou, and Suicune came to show Mewtwo the goodness of life. It didn't have much effect, but it helped unleash Dan's aura power. Despite being a Novice Aura Trainer, he unleashed a single aura attack that defeated Mewtwo and destroyed  the main systems of the Forge, rendering it unstable. Mewtwo turned on Giovanni, and threw him out of the Forge, then finished the job by blowing up the Forge. Dan and the Unfezant group escaped, and were praised as heroes.
Afterwards, Dan continued training Pokemon. But eventually, the entire group kept in touch but parted ways, without any adventure left. That is, for Dan and Sapphire. 5 years after the Forge was destroyed, the two got married, settled in Hoenn, and had a son named Kyler. They live a happy, peaceful, quiet life together while Dan works an author. But one thing bothers him: he can't get the image of his anger aura power. He want's more info on what he's dealing with, and wonders if more visions like the ones of his father and Giovanni uncovering secrets would pop up. He thinks there might be a secret to it in Hoenn, and plans to find it. He has, however, only two Pokemon with him: his Abra and Kabutops. His Kabutops is at a pretty young level, as it was originally found in an archeogical dig at level one, and sold to a shopkeeper who raised it's level. They as leveled as they were when he stopped training Pokemon, and underleveled because they weren't often relied on for battle. Dan also had another Pokemon on han: his Charmeleon. He is also as leveled as when training stopped, and is at high leveled because he was trained more than the other Pokemon were. With his Pokemon on hand, he knows that he can find what destiny is telling him.

Just a few slight things:

No matter what your history says, you cannot start with any badges, as it isn't fair to those who don't and have to earn them.

I may be wrong on this, but I believe the template states that the maximum level for a Pokemon is 30, and if this is true, then please take off the 6 levels from Charizard (who will become a chameleon), and add them to something else.

Didn't catch this before, but doesn't Kabuto evolve into Kabutops at level 40? Could you explain how you have one at level 11?
