Alice Enters her Lapras (Level 12) into the fight!

Walking around the beach (took beach so that you have an equal playground :) ) a young man was walking. The boy stood at an impressive 6 feet completely dressed in black. He wears a long, dark cloak that is decorated with surrounding leather straps. The cloak also possesses a black interior, and a chin-high collar. He seemed to be wearing a conical straw hat with small ornamental torques and tassels, obscuring his face for those looking. As he sees a girl riding on a strange creature. Raising an eyebrow, not that anyone would see. He would then do something that he usually doesn't do, he yells at the girl.

Hey girl! What's that thing your riding on?!!

He yells at her, not realizing he might as well have insulted the girl and her Pokémon. Meanwhile his partner was seemingly content with sleeping on his back, and wasn't quite happy when he has awoken from his sleep by the sudden yell, causing it to stab Ray once out of anger.

Alice was just about to head out to see at the beach when she heard the call of a trainer. Turning her gaze, her eyes met with a strange boy who seemed to be challenging her to a battle. "Very well!" She said. "Let us begin!" She hops off Lapras and walks over to shore. Lapras sticks near the sandy beach, floating around in the rolling waves as it watches intently, waiting for it's trainer's command.

Looking at the girl with a dumbfound look, not that she could see his face, Ray is wondering exactly HOW this turned into a fight, he didn't even ask for one. Mentally shrugging to himself Ray simply raises his right arm and seemingly points at the girl. While this might seem like a strange action it is a tactic that he devised so that his partner can easily surprise opponents.

Sasori, if you'd like.

Upon the command Ray his Skorupi would jump out of the cloak, and lands on the sand, where he immediately buries himself. It would at first seem as if the Scorpion Pokémon wasn't going to come to the surface again, which is right.

Now then, Sasori perform Poison Sting

Listening to his Trainer's order the Skorupi opens his mouth as he shoots multiple needles dripping in poison at the Lapras. These needles not only aim to hurt, but also to poison the Pokémon.

Alice could see the young boy was looking at her with an odd look. She had challenged him to a battle. Not long after staring at Alice, he pointed at her and announced his name. "Alice, pleased to meet you Sayori." She brushed her silver hair briefly while she she watched her opponent command his Pokemon, a Skorupi which jumped out of the sand before receding back under it where it felt comfortable. She listened as the enemy trainer ordered his Pokemon to use Poison Sting, so she decided to get into high gear as well. "Lapras, counter with Ice Shard!" She commanded. Lapras managed to fire off much faster projectiles which would contact Skorupi first if it didn't manage to dodge. Lapras took the full hit from the poison sting, getting hurt a little bit.

It did not appear Lapras was poisoned by the attack.

Looking confused at the speech of the girl Ray raises his voice to make his thoughts clear.

Girl, you seem to be mistaken. When I said Sasori I was talking to my companion, not you, although now I feel obligated to tell my name as well. I am called Ray.

Hearing the order of Ice Shard Ray decides to order his friend to get out of where he is hiding at the moment.

Sasori, dodge the shards but keep on firing those Poison Stings from time to time as you keep moving.

Following his master's order the Skorupi would now be an even harder target to hit due to the fact that it keeps moving AND attacking at random times.

Unfortunately for Alice, the Ice Shard attack had missed, and Lapras was a stationary target. She needed to put the odds in her favor. "Mist and evade!" She ordered. Lapras obeyed, breathing out a surplus of fog. But Skorupi's attacks were faster, and Skorupi managed to land a Poison Sting on Lapras again.

This time, Lapras was poisoned. Lapras winced as it was hurt by poison, but now it was able to vanish into the thick mist that it created. Alice would have to do something soon or Skorupi would whittle Lapras down until it fainted.

Seeing that his opponent has decided to make it a bit more difficult for him, or at least tries to, Ray plans to use another tactic.

Sasori, let's try something else. Pin Missile all of them in the direction of the mist.

Ordering his friend the next attack Ray knows that Lapras couldn't be far away from the Mist, otherwise the move would have been useless to use. While it makes it harder for the opponent to see the user, the same could be said for the user, alas that is was Ray thinks about the technique. But because of that the area where the Pokémon could be located should also be limited to the misted area, making it an easy target for large scale attacks.

Hearing its master's order, the Skorupi puts it eyes out the sand for a second to see where the mist is that his master is speaking of, not having seen it yet as he is under the sand. Having located the mist Sasori goes back under the sand completely and brings his claws above his head. The claws seem to start glowing in a white color with a thin white line connecting the claws. It then thrusts its claws forward, releasing multiple glowing white streams of pins that are being shot out of the sand in the direction of the mist, almost hitting every single area that is covered by it.

In the meantime Ray seems to supervise the whole battlefield in case of any surprise attacks and to see how his opponent is dealing with the current situation.
