Personality: Ali is a kind, and very gentle trainer toward her pokemon. She is disgusted by the thought of pokemon abuse and is even considering starting a movement to stop and/or prevent it. To her, pokemon should be treated like family, and given the love and praise that they desirve. She lives by her golden rule: "There are no bad pokemon, just bad trainers."

But once she steps foot on the contest stage, a whole new side of her comes out. Her stage name is DJ Shocker, because her favorite pokemon are electric types, and she has a very deep passion for music. She trains day in and day out to prepare her preformances and contest battling styles, having the fullest determination to win. She'll push to the very limit to get the advantage, she's a hardcore, yet fair battler.

History: Ali was originally born and raised in Ecruteak City in the far off Johto Region. She watched the other kids who had gotten their Cyndaquils, Tottodiles, and Chikoritas to begin their journies, and envied them. She had no idea what to do with her life until her 15th birthday.
"Pokemon...contests?"
Ali asked her mother, tilting her head a bit to the side. HEr mother smiled and nodded.
"Yes, pokemon contests. It's where you show off your pokemon in the best way you can, and then after the appeal round, you fight against other trainers and once again try your best to show off your pokemon and its moves. The winner is given a ribbon, and once you get five ribbons, you get a chance to commpete in that regions Grande Festival, where the winner is crowned top coordinator in the region, and given a big trophy that they get to keep until the next festival. What do you say sweetie? You interested?"
Ali's mother had once been a coordinator herself, but she retired after she met Ali's father who was studying to be a pokemon breeder. She'd been surrounded by their old teams ever since she was a baby, and grew to love the strange creatures they shared their world with. But now, what would she do? Would she follow her father's footsteps and become a pokemon trainer, or her mother's and strive to be top coordinator?

Now, Ali is making her way toward the Sinnoh Region, to compete in contests all across the region in hopes of becoming top coordinator. With her partner Seraphina, they set off into Sinnoh, the wind at their backs and the promise of a huge adventure in front of them. Ali looks forward to making port in Canalave City, and make her way toward the first contest she can find. Her mother has promise her that once she arrives, she'll send a special gift for her, Ali looks forward to seeing what it is, and to make her way toward being Top Coordinator!

Her worst fear, is letting Alice down, but what the still very young Pichu doesn't understand just yet, is that Alice will never be disappointed in her. All Alice cares about, is that she gives it her best shot, even if they don't win.
