Walking down the road of a forest Ray seems to notice that not many Pokémon seem to be around in this area, probably because they don't seem to thrust him... or someone else that might be in the forest. Not really bothered by this Ray simply keeps on walking, his Skorupi lazily sleeping under his cloak while his other friend is sitting quietly in its Ball.

Twilight was just wandering around innocently, trying to stay unnoticed. She looked aside to see a person wearing black and a bulge in his cloak. A sting poking out informed her it was a Skorupi. She wondered wouldn't he be feeling hot in such a warm climate with that thick cloak and that chin high collar. She stepped back and accidently stepped on a twig that cracked under her feet. She cringed, hoping the boy didn't notice her, but didn't budge.

Having long since noticed the presence of the girl that was close to his person he first decided to ignore her. But hearing the crack of the twig did something he didn't like, and his partner even less. It woke him up. What resulted in his partner stabbing him with one of his stingers out of annoyance. This of course made Ray quite annoyed at the fact he got hurt because of someone else his stupid mistake.

Do you have any idea what you have done, girl?

He would ask with a menacing aura surrounding the boy as if he wasn't going to let her get away from here without a good smack down.

Spoiler:

"I-I'm sorry for whatever I did. What did I do anyway?" Twilight essayed to back away, as the boy glared at her intimidatingly.

What you did? You woke up my partner, now that wouldn't be bad, except for the fact the guy stung me. Besides I can see you're a Trainer yourself.

Ray proclaims as he points at the Pokéballs on her belt.

How about you and I have a little round. A double battle if you'd like.

He asks/demands of the girl as he still isn't planning on letting a possible opponent go.

"Er...okay." Anything to tone his anger down. Nervously she plucked Oddete's and Thunder's pokeballs.

Grabbing one Pokéball from his belt while raising his other arm, Ray throws his Pokéball in the air while his Skorupi jumps out of his cloak, landing in front of Ray standing next to the new arrival. The new arrival look like a little bear with a light blue head and neck. Its head seemed to have a slightly pointed shape, with large round ears, shiny, dark, oval-shaped eyes, and a darker-blue muzzle. The lower part of its body is white, with rounded forepaws, digit-less feet with black paw-pads, and a small round tail. For some reason drool seems to be hanging out of its nose as it gives a little yell.

Choo?

For some reason the Skorupi seems to answer its question with a simple Sko. and from that moment the Cubchoo seems to be at attention, giving Ray a sweatdrop on his head.

"Why, there's a cute Cubchoo you got there!" Twilight made a weak attempt at lightening the mood, despite the fact she was seriously scared of her opponent. She tossed the small 1-and-half inch capsules which grew to nearly 4-inches. A Pikachu and a Pidgey appeared, the Pikachu jigging along as it was quite new to the team and new to following orders. Twilight leaned against a tree, breaking in cold sweat as she awaited the opponent for the first move.

Hearing his opponent call his Cubchoo cute results into Ray growing his eyes as he looks at his Pokémon who looked a little pissed at the comment.

Glad you tried to lighten the mood but..... he's male, and doesn't like to be called cute, hehe.

Scratching his head as he says this Ray just hopes that Sasori is able to calm the little bear down. Seeing the Pokémon that she has thrown doesn't really put Ray on edge, except for the Pidgey. Shrugging it off Ray decides to start.

Sasori, perform Pin Missile Kori, you use Powder Snow

Following their master's orders the Skorupi lifts its claws above its head as they start glowing a white color. Without any warning he brings his claws down as multiple rocket-like missile are fired the way of the opponent. In the meantime Kori puts his hands in front of his body. This causes a light blue light to form in front of his hands. Without any warning a wind is released from the glow that has a sparkling blue powder, not only attempting to harm the Pokémon but also to freeze them.

Spoiler:

"Oh dear...But he is cute." twilight muttered to herself. "Quick! Change positions." As Thunder and Odette both took the respecting attacks head on, none of them were seriously injured, although Thunder's feet seemed to be frozen. "Odette, Brave Bird! Thunder, Volt Tackle!"

Thunder used the electric velocity his body seemed to automatically handle to break the ice, then rushed forward with considerable speed towards the Cubchoo, covered with dangerous, active sparks. Odette flew up high, then plummeted downwards, coated in a blue aura towards the Skorupi.

Raising an eyebrow at the seemingly low damage that they took Ray shrugs it off as he orders his partners their next course of action.

Kori slow them down with Icy Wind

Nodding its head the Cubchoo opens its mouth. The inside seems to gain a light blue glow as it seems that the Cubchoo is gathering energy. It then releases all the gathered energy in a wind with snow inside. When the wind makes contact with the opponents, they woulds start freezing. This would slow them down and diminish the strength of their attacks.

Sasori, you help as well. Use Poison Sting

Listening to its master's order the Skorupi opens its mouth as it fires multiple purple colored needles at both Pokémon, not only to damage them but also to Poison them.

(Flying is super effective against Bug...)

Thunder nimbly dodged every single Poison Sting then intervened in the Icy Wind, leaving Odette free to use another Brave Bird against Skorupi. Meanwhile Thunder was cutely wagging his tail. Tail Whip.

Seemingly not giving a damn about the incoming bird Ray gives his Skorupi two words to save him.

Confuse Ray

Not waisting any time the Skorupi fires six golden orbs of energy at the Pidgey. When the orbs reach it, they surround it and latch onto its body, completely enveloping the Pidgey. The orbs then glow gold brightly and explode, confusing it. Because of the confusion and the explosion the Pidgey should not be able to hit the Skorupi but to be sure.

Sasori, dodge that bird to be sure and latch onto it. Follow it up with Bite

The Skorupi grabs the confused Pidgey just before it latches its jaws into the little bird. Harming it greatly.

Good don't let go off it until I say so. Kori, give it a Growl

Listening to its master the Cubchoo angrily growls at the Pikachu making it tremble a bit and lower its Attack.

Pidgey shook off the damage, feeling woozy from the Confuse ray. She couldn't lock on what her trainer was saying. (I'm not adding the damage from Bite because Odette could dodge it by flying up. Growl, however, hit.) Thunder had it's Attack lowered but it's ability could ake up for that. Seeing how the Skorupi missed Odette, he hurried in and smashed his tail down on the Skorupi, letting loose well over 10,000 volts of thunder. Also, if the tail would ake contact, there was a chance Static might kick in. Thunder revelled in his ability being Static.

"Odette, use Sand Attack!" Although Odette couldn't hear properly, picking up fragments, she understood. Using her taloned feet, she kicked up great amounts of gravel and dirt, aiming for the opposing team's eyes. "Now, Tackle!" Sadly, Odette heard it as "Slam yourself on the ground" and did precisely that. She got up shakily. She was starting to weaken. She flew up and used Brave Bird, aiming for the Skorupi again.

Seeing as the little mouse is too fast for his Skorupi to dodge he gives it a countermeasure.

Sasori, quickly counterattack with your Poison Sting

Listening to its master once more the Skorupi widens its jaws as it fires another salvo of poisonous needles. The chance of dodging this time is quite low seeing as the mouse is just about to slam its tail in Skorupi's face, this COULD result in an explosion due to the poisonous stings making contact with the electricity, if it doesn't the stings might just hit before the tail does. (Un)fortunately (depending the person's P.O.V.) Sasori didn't get Paralyzed but is still damaged quite badly, although it doesn't show it on its face. Instead it seems the Skorupi is out for blood and unfortunately doesn't see the incoming bird coming its way. Luckily Ray does as he orders his other partner around.

Kori, stop that Pidgey with an Icy Wind

Then his voice seems to drop several degrees as the eyes hidden by the hat (Don't forget I'm still wearing it :P ) become cold without any emotion.

Show it no mercy.

The sound of the voice doesn't only scare Sasori and Kori but also tells them to take it up a notch. Thus Kori starts gathering energy in the back of his mouth. Without warning it releases said energy in the form of wind with snow in it. Having used all of its power and showing no mercy, as its master commanded, the coldness of said attack was also much lower/higher (what does you say when its colder than normal?) than its previous attack, intending to completely or at least freeze the Pidgey's wings.

Spoiler:

Thunder would have been hit by the stings had he suddenly and quite accidently not stepped on a Poison Sting barbed lying pierced on the ground from the Skorupi's previous Poison Sting. Thunder leapt back like a flash of lightning, clutching his foot. Gingerly he put down his foot, too late to see the Stings. Some hit, others fell where Thunder earlier stood.

Odette was taken by surprise by the cold voice and quite taken aback, leaving her vulnerable to the Icy wind. But a blessed gust of wind swerved her away, freezing only one wing. Unfortunately the gust blew her into a tree. But on the bright side, the impact with the tree broke the ice. She fell to the ground, hanging on by a thread. Her eyes gleamed and she kicked up large amounts of sand, using Sand Attack. With the accuracy hopefully lowered, she entered the dust cloud with an aura pulsating around her, using Brave Bird.

Seeing the bird coming at his partner again Ray narrows his eyes as he decides to finish the bird off with the next attack.

Sasori, Kori, time for a combination. Sasori Pin Missile and Kori use Powder Snow Don't you dare hold back.

Both Pokémon nod at Ray, their eyes also having taken the same coldness as their Trainer as they jump next to each other. Sasori lifts his arms above his head again. Soon both arms gain a white color as they start glowing in the color. He then brings both arms down, firing multiple rocket-like missile to both the Pidgey and the Pikachu. As Sasori lifted his arms in the air, Kori puts his hands in front of his body. Gathering energy between the hands a light blue light starts forming. It then releases the gathered energy at the same time that Sasori fires its attack, thus creating a sparkling blue powder at both Pokémon. But for some reason the Powder Snow blows over the missiles as well, freezing them completely. Due to the frost the needles have become more sturdier and thus have become more lethal. Now the frozen needles will not only harm the Pokémon but so will the air, that hasn't disappeared and might also freeze the Pokémon.

I call it Frozen Missile

Odette nimbly manoeuvred through the frozen missiles, Thunder carefully balanced on her back. If Thunder noticed any missile Odette didn't, he collected energy in his tail and used the point source to shatter the ice, along with the bug-type pin inside, so as to not hurt Odette. With the last missile broken or dodged, Twilight finally spoke up. "Combinations huh? Well, two can play that game, Thunder, Volt Tackle. Odette, it will be painful but enter the Volt Tackle and add your Brave Bird."

The two nodded decisively and used the said combination. Odette grabbed Thunder and lifted him up, making a powerful aerial-and-electric attack.

Sasori jump out of the way while using Confuse Ray Kori, try another Icy Wind

Nodding the Skorupi fires six golden orbs of energy at both Pidgey and Pikachu. When the orbs reach both Pokémon, they surround them and latch onto their bodies, enveloping them. The orbs then glow gold brightly and explode, confusing them. Using the confusion to their advantage Kori starts gathering energy in the back of his mouth. Without warning it releases said energy in the form of wind with snow in it towards both confused Pokémon, attempting to harm them and freeze them completely.

Odette and Thunder dodged the orbs, pierced right through the Icy wind and bounced off a tree, then a rock, ping-ponging off the surroundings, encasing the opponents. Sometime or the other Skorupi and Cubchoo will get hurt, as they were in a round arena.

Starting to get annoyed at the fact that the fight is getting out of control he orders his Pokémon their next course of action as he sees they get hit each random time, tiring them out.

Sasori, Kori, get back to back and start spinning around. Sasori you use Poison Sting and Kori, you use Icy Wind

Nodding they do exactly as Ray told them, standing back to back and spinning, each unleashing their attack over the whole field, making it very hard to dodge.

Thunder and Odette were knocked back from the attacks. Odette, being a lower level fainted. Twilight sighed. "You did your best, return and rest. You earned it." The small red beam enveloped the fainted bird. Thunder, hanging on by a thread, used a final, dire Volt Tackle aimed at the two.

Looking at the sole Pikachu coming at them, even though he was severely weakened kind of gives Ray some respect to the little mouse. But alas he wasn't going to let his partners get hurt someone got a little respect of him.

Sasori, dodge to the left, Kori, you to the right. Also Sasori while dodging fire another round of Poison Sting to finish that mouse off.

Listening to their Trainer both Pokémon dodge to their respective side and Sasori fires its poisonous needles at the incoming Pikachu.

The electricity enveloping Thunder knocked the needles away. Thunder, seeing the two dodge, swerved aside, aiming for the Cubchoo.

Seeing the needles get knocked of the electricity Ray orders his Cubchoo its countermeasure.

Kori, brace yourself. Sasori, use Pin Missile

Noticing the code for its next attack the Cubchoo takes a guarded stance as white energy starts gathering around his body. Although he takes the Volt Tackle head one and as a result is damaged greatly. Though damaged severely the Cubchoo stands up again with the energy still surrounding its body, becoming bigger the more time passes by.

Just before the Pikachu hits Kori, Sasori nods its head although not liking what his master was thinking. Lifting its white glowing arms above its head the Skorupi brings them down again, firing multiple pin-missiles at both the Pikachu and at the Cubchoo as well, seeing as both of them are close to one another.
