Chad looks an awesome guy but actually, he has troubles socializing with people. He has a little bit of "inferiority complex". He doesn't feel comfortable hanging out with people unless they make him feel comfortable. He prefers going alone in places with his Pokemon, even though he's a loner, he has a lot of creative ways to enjoy life such as daydreaming, playing with his Pokemon, working out, listening to rock musics on his I-Pod, watching movies on his I-Pod, and strumming hard beats on his guitar.

As a trainer, he likes double battles and focuses on offensive. Of course he commands to evade but he doesn't use defensive moves and stat moves such as Growl, Leer, Light Screen, etc.

History:
Chad is the only son. Both his parents are alive but are separated but are not "divorced" and the marriage is not "annulled". His parents got a fight and his mother separated and has his live-in man now. The man became his uncle who will soon become his step-dad once his dad gets his time to rest forever. The separation of his parents did not affect him one bit at all. Actually, he liked it so that there will be no more fights. His parents has their own lives now but Chad lived on his dad's house because his mom can't support him because of financial problems. His mom lives on Pewter City while he and his dad lives on Pallet Town.

As a student, he always gets high grades even in Pokemon classes. At the age of 12, he received a Squirtle from the owner of the school where he goes. The owner is so proud of Chad so he gave the Squirtle which belongs to the school and is used by Chad a lot of times in practice matches. Because of that, the two developed friendship and became best friends. They went to places like this and that. Chad has friends but not real friends, they cannot be relied upon so Squirtle is the first friend of Chad whom he really loves a lot. At the age of 14, Chad stopped attending school since he already knows a lot.

He asked his father to get him a Trainer's License and so he got one and Squirtle became his official and legal Pokemon. He looks forward to getting all the badges of Kanto up to Sinnoh. He's not sure what to do after he accomplishes it.
