Xero - Chapter 2: The Road to Eterna![Open]

After leaving Oreburgh successfully, Xero was ready to continue. "Hopefully the next gym will be just as fun." He laughed. "Of course, a bit of a different endingg might happen if I'm not careful...Maybe I should train once I hit the forest." He continued walking.

A Grass/Flying Pokemon is obviously gripping the ground with its feet as the winds blow. It's as if she's trying not to be blown away with her light body. It is a round, pink Pokémon with long green leaves growing on top of its head. The leaves on its head have ragged edges, similar to a dandelion. It has big, triangular ears with dark insides and beady yellow eyes that lack pupils. Its arms and legs are stubby, and it has a short tail with a rounded tip. There is a circular yellow pad on the underside of each foot.

And it's looking at the Trainer scared. It's a Level 15, Female, Hoppip

Xero looked at it. "Huh...Makes sense that a grass type is here, I guess..." He approached it slowly. "You look scared. Are you lost?"

She lets out a slight turn of face of a, "no." She looked at Xero from head to toe. Her eyes explored around as if hesitating whether to say something or not. After a few seconds, she finally speaks with her mother tongue. She's not sure if Xero would understand her, but she said that there's a bully Trainer wandering around that's been scaring her and the other Pokemon. There's nothing they can do about it, the trainer is too strong, she storied.

"Hm...Let me just do something." He closed his eyes, stepped back, and put out his hand, as if about to fire and energy beam. He began concentrating, and soon enough figured out what it was saying. "Don't worry. Me and my friends have it covered. You feel like coming with us?"

The Hoppip smiled and happiness is seen on her eyes. She said she wanted to go but on one condition: Xero will have to carry her in his arms or the winds will blow her away. She'd gladly lead them to where he saw the Trainer go. From there, she's pretty sure the wilds can help with locating the Trainer as well. Since most of them has probably been bullied by the verbal abusive and crossed-the-liner Trainer.

"Right. Wouldn't want something so cute and important blowing away." He chuckled as he picked her up and began walking the direction it wanted. "So, did he have any...You know, Pokémon of his own?"

The wild Hoppip also chuckled at that adornment. She happily rested herself on Xero's arms. Weirdly, she feels comfortable. Maybe it's because that this person has a heart of a real Trainer. Her answer to Xero's question is that she thinks the Trainer possibly has four Pokemon with him. She saw a Shiftry that's obviously a little bit strong. As well as three other Pokeballs on his waist.

Hoppip points to a direction again.

Xero nodded and followed its directions. "So, he may have grass Pokemon...Maybe dark types. Well, I guess we'll find out when I beat him for what he's done." As Xero continued walking, X jumped out of his Pokeball.

Hoppip again pointed to a direction. She never used her hand, heck she doesn't even have one. She does it by lightly squirming her body to the direction. This time, she squirmed to the right. Their final destination is there.

The evil Pokémon Trainer would be there. He would be a teenage male with a green spiky hair and dressed as a stereotypical Ace Trainer. Just like Hoppip said, his Shiftry would be beside him and they would be facing a tree. They would be kneeling down and their palms put together as if praying. However, there will be an eerir feeling of evil that will suddenly linger around.

And, there will be a dead Mightyena near them. What sets the sight of the corpse apart from a fainted is the gore.

As Xero walked and noticed the dead Pokémon, he clearly got angry.  

Don't read this if language is an issue to you:

 Xero continued walking and put the Hoppip down where it couldn't blow away.  "Hey, you!"  Xero kept his eyes on both the trainer and Pokémon.

OOC: Eh, I don't mind vulgar words at all. But, as a mod, we'll stick to the rules. Don't worry 'bastard' is not considered as vulgar.

IIC: They both don't respond and seems to be acting like they heard nothing. Their 'praying' continues. The uneasy, paranormal and dark presence worsens. Hoppip looks nervous.

Xero laughed for a moment, picking up a rock. He began tossing it in the air. "You gonna listen of are we doing this the hard way?" He grabbed a Pokeball in the other hand, and he began to get serious.

(You should see some stuff I've written in the past. And the spoiler was just so that people who didn't want to read that didn't have to. It's not even that important, it's just a small thought of Xero's.)

Still, no response. The dark presence got even more worse. Maybe that's their response? That dark presence? Maybe they're not just normal at all?

Xero threw the rock at the trainer's head. "Hard way it is!" He laughed after it hit/missed.
"Now that was pretty awesome. You listening now?"

OOC: Rushed post, sorry.

The rock seems to have been magically hovered up so it didn't hit them. The dark and evil presence grows even more worse.

'This darkness...'
(Get ready for a refence to a story in the Xero series)
Xero looked around. Was it getting physically darker too, or was it just memory? 'It's just like when...When my friend turned dark...It feels just the same...Only now I don't have the old team anymore...' He looked back at him. "Listen, I just want to talk about what you're doing to these Pokémon. If you won't listen, I can and will take you down! In a Pokémon battle, or a fight!"

They both stood up. Darkness has engulfed the place. It's like they're totally in a different place now. There is complete darkness around. Only the two foes can be seen and Xero himself and the hiding Hoppip. They turn around and their faces have a red tattoo of a pentagram. They stand there, eyeing. Which should send chills down someone's spine.

"Trying to scare me by saying nothing? Believe me, I've seen demons before." He put his hand on a Pokeball. "Now that I have your attention, will you listen or are we about to battle? Or, we could fight...Ourselves..."

They both walk towards you. The Trainer's eyes can now be seen upclose. It's all red as if he's a demon guy of sorts. The types that can be seen only in animes and TV but this one's the real deal. Mysteriously taken to a place black with darkness with two creatures tatted a pentagram on their faces and bright glowing red eyes. Like a scene from a horror movie thing. The Trainer speaks, but his voice have echoes. As if it's Satan himself talking. "You. Dare. Interrupt. Ritual."

"And YOU dare go around killing Pokémon for no reason? Listen, buddy. I'm not here for trouble...Unless you are." He laughed, clearly not seeing the threat he was facing...Maybe he was just masking it. "Now, my guess is you won't listen and we'll have to battle. So is it us or our Pokémon? Or, both if you really want."

"Mortal. Weak. Pokemon. Match."

The way he talks, his appearance and all... Is he part of some dark evil cult or something? They both step a few steps back and the Trainer taps a Poke Ball on his waist. A red beam of laser shoots from it and into the air.

The laser materializes into a creature that resembles a vaguely anthropomorphic butterfly with a purple body. Unlike true insects, it only has two body segments and four light blue legs. She has two black antennae, a light blue snout with two fangs underneath, and large, red compound eyes. Its two pairs of veined wings are white with black accents. As a female, the oval scales on her lower wings are black, but white in males.


"Fight," he whispered.

"Now, show this crazy guy how it's done! Come on, Z!"

Out came a female Heracross, ready for battle. "Hera..." It seemed scared, but yet brave and confident at the same time. Talk about mixed feelings.

"You. Attack."

That's all there is. The Butterfree hovers freely. She too has this pentagram tattoo on her little face.

"Sorry, but I'll wait." Xero had a plan. Run, slam, run. Hopefully Z would live to win...At least this once, then she'd get her break.
