Arrival in Sinnoh, let the adventure begin!! (Open to anyone who wishes to join)

The warm afternoon sun beat down on the ocean side city of Canalave. The waves slapped against the concrete and wood that made the structural foundation to the city. The massive bridge split apart, and raised up in order for the big ship to pass underneith and make port. Once the massive ocean liner was tied to the dock and the passangers were permitted to disembark, a flood of people came rushing out onto the land below.
Out of the mass, a young girl managed to snake her way away from the crowd and toward the pokemon center nearby. She sighed, glad to be free from being pushed and bumped around by so many people. Brushing her long golden yellow hair aside, her ruby red eyes turned to the sky. This was the moment she'd been waiting for for days, when she began her coordinator journey.
Reaching to her belt, she pulled out her one occupied pokeball and threw it into the air.
In a flash of white light, a small, black and yellow mouse appeared on the ground before her. It pawed at its cheeks as it looked around in awe at the large city around it. Ali smiled, and betn down, picking up her partner, Seraphina the Pichu.
"Well Seraphina? What do you think?"
"Pichu!! Pi, Pichu, Pi!!"
Ali smiled and lifted her partner onto her shoulder, giving her a loving smile.
"Yeah, I'm excited too! Let's go call mom and dad to let them know were ok."
With that, she walked into the pokemon center and made ehr way toward the video phones.

"Not at the moment, I'm just making a call to my parents back home really quick."
She said to Nurse Joy and sat at one of the phones. Dialing the number, she waited until the image of a woman that looked much like Ali, except for having green eyes instead of the red she recived from her father came up.
"Hi mom! I finally arrived in Canalave City! It's amazing down here! I can't wait to get started on my contest prep!"
"That's great kiddo! You're dad and I are so proud of you!"
Seraphina hopped down from her trainers shoulder and smiled at Ali's mom.
"Pichu!!! Pichu, Pi!!"
Ali's mother laughed softly, Seraphina was just too cute.
"Hi Sera, glad to see your enjoying the trip so far! There's a lot more to come so you better be ready! And keep our little Ali safe you hear?"
Seraphina nodded and hopped back onto Ali's shoulder.
"So mom, what's this gift you have for me anyway?"
"Oh that's right! Maxamellian should be there any minute to give it to you."
Maxamellian, or Max, was her mother's Pidgeot that she had since the start of her journey. Ali brimmed with excitement to see what her mom had gotten her. Just before she left, she said that she hoped it would bring Ali good luck in her contests, and this made Ali wonder even more what it could be.

Ali then hung up with her mom after saying goodbye, and not ten minute after a large Pidgeot landed outside the doors. Ali rushed out and hugged the big bird pokemon around the neck, then Max gave her a small package and turned to make the long trip back to the Johto region. Ali walked back into the pokemon center, reading the letter her mother had enclosed under the string tied to the package.

Congrats on starting your contest journey. I know you'll give it your all! Your father and I will be watching form home and rooting for you all the way! Here's a little gift for you and Seraphina, along with a little something from my own journies to wish you good luck!

Ali sat at the chairs off to the side and began to open the package, eger to see what was inside. As she opened the box, she gasped as she saw a beautiful saphire blue dress, and a smaller version with two ribbons for little Seraphina. The Pichu hopped up and down reaching for the box, wanting to try on her little accesory. Ali smiled and pulled the little dress over her head and ears, then began tying the ribbons around her ears.

"Oh Sera you look adorable!"
As Sera began to twirl and hop around excitedly, drawing an eger crowd to watch her, Ali looked back inside the box to see a small brown bag inside. She lifted it out, opened it, and emptied its contents into her hand. A magnificent blue and white ribbon fell into her hand, with a black thread through a hole in the top to make a necklace of it. Ali stared in amazement, she knew this ribbon, it was the ribbon her mom had won years ago in the Walace Cup back in the Hoenn Region! She'd given to her, in a way of wishing her good luck. Ali's eyes began to tear up and she looped the ribbon around her neck and smiled, thanking her mother in her heart for this.

Ali stood up and smiled at Seraphina, walking over and picking her up.
"Sorry everyone, but this little girl and I need to get some contest training done."
The crowd seemed disappointed as it began to dispurse. Ali then turned and walked out the door, around the pokemon center and toward the training feilds out back. Searphina hopped out of Ali's arms, eger to begin her training.
"Alright Sera, you know the plan! We do all our appeal rounds to music, but this also means way more training. We have to get the timing just right, the moves down, and the song itself down to a 'T'!"
Ali fished around in her bag then finally pulled out her MP3 player.
"But first things first, we need to pick a song!"
Ali scrolled through her songs and once she found one she smiled and nodded.
"Yeah this is the one! Alright Sera, we'll listen to the song first, then we can begin working on what moves to use and how to really bring out that sparkle for our first contest!"

Ali pressed play, and 'Everytime we Touch' began to play. Sera began to sway with the song, smilling as her trainer did the same. Ali looked out of the corner of her eye, and saw the little Aaron walking by, and she stared back at it. She'd never seen an Aaron before, she thought it was very cute and smiled at the little creature.
"Sera, keep listening I'll be right back ok?"
Ali gentely placed the MP3 player on a bench, Sera hopping up next to it and continuing to listen. Ali very slowly walked over to the Aaron, stopping about seven feet from in and crouching down to it's level. Her father always told her this was the best way to approach wild pokemon, if they see you aren't a threat it's unlikely they'll attack you. In a soft, gentle voice she began to speak to the pokemon.
"Hey there little guy, I'm Ali. What are you doing out here all by yourself?"

Alice smiled and offered the palm of her hand to the Aaron for him to look at and smell. She meant the little guy no harm, and kept herself calm to show him that.
"What do you say little guy? Do you want to watch us practice?"
She asked, Sera walking over and smiling at the Aaron happily.
"Pi! Pichu Pi!!" ("Yeah you should watch! Alice here is amazing with her appeals, I think you'll like watching!")

Alice slowly walked out of the pokemon center, it was early morning and the sun was just beginning to raise. She yawned softly, she was tired but it was best to get an early start on her journey. She'd heard about a town called Snowpoint City, and she heard it was a great place to catch ice types. Her mother told her the ice types were very great for contest appeals, and she wanted to have that advantage.
Sera was tucked away in her pokeball, still sound asleep. Allice didn't want to wake her up until a little later on in the day. Turning down the road, she began to head out od town, using the map her mom had given her to help her find her way to Snowpoint City.
